  1. The Party marched on to DW, the Sheep bleating thrice.
  2. The Party Moved to DX, whereupon, the sheep bleated thrice.
  3. True, I'll change it to Nurture. The stats would be different depending on the circumstance if Heroes were actually going to fight him anyways. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. What an interesting Question.... Sylph Solanum Level 50 Unknown, Immune to *Sealed*, *Enamored*, and *Hexed* *rolls of damage decrease 1 from SP* HP: 500/500 SP: 5 Ether: 35/35 Specials: Use Decided by QM 1: Scroll-troll: Target is Sealed, Blinded, Frailed, Confused, or Asleep for 4 rounds, depending on QM's digression. This costs 1 Ether 2: Roots of Life: ALL Sylph's Allies regain full health and lose any negative effects. This includes Sylph 3: When the going gets smart, the smart get going: Sylph flees combat. Passive Special: Strategic: QM Decides Special. Take Off the Helmet: When Sylph drops to or below 150 HP, his/her stats change entirely and ALL combatants (including his/her allies) take 50 Light damage. Drops: Allot. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. Sylph is actually a disguised Karie...

Have we ever been in the same place at the same time???

  6. "Thought I was a quiet strategically-minded Druid who deals in gray morality?" *Fwoosh* "Acting." "Thought I was a Man?" "Wrong! Thought I was the maniacal businesswoman who escaped the Heroes with her life?" *Fwoosh* "Acting." ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. The Group moved forward. The sheep bleated thrice.
  8. "Deal." Stated the Druid, pleased. He handed the monk his 240 coins and gently, slowly took the Robe, draping it across his back.
  9. Sylph is getting better at "haggling!" He's ashamed to be doing dirty people tricks. ~Insectiod Aristocrat
  10. The Druid paused. "...I can go no higher than 230 and still purchase all that I need to... But I suppose I could go without an additional tonic... like the one I gave you... if I conserve my ether reserves, and wear this robe consistently. I will pay you 240 gold for the robe, but that is it. If you cannot sell it to me for that much, then I will find a better item/deal on my next quest to be sure. Money is a sickening thing, and I assure you I am not attempting to rob you of your hard earned coin. I do not horde these so-called "rewards," and I possess no anterior motives for attempting to lower that robe's price. I am a rich Druid, but my wealth is not determined by possession of valuables." The Druid sighed, his voice soft and tired.
  11. Do you mean the X I used for numbering? No. Do you mean the X in EX? Yes. Xs are "Mines." I'm very sorry if that wasn't clear. Also, that's a two not a one, if the font's troubling you. There are two Xs touching in some way, be it by corner or by side, the square you just stepped into. One of those Xs has already been discovered.
  12. Just because it's Fleur's favorite poisonous flower doesn't make it evil. Oh... Wait... ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. True that! I still love it. Don't be afraid to go back and "clear" squares. It might help you achieve the forward trail you want to create. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. I'm thinking the exact same. I didn't intend for it to be a money decreasing mechanic. Here's a link to the game online if you want to practice, guys. I thought it'd be fun, but I guess there are some people that have never played before. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Having decided on EX, the party moved forward... and their sheep died. "I only have 13 sheep left." Sobbed the shepherd. "My money!" Lamented the Shadeaux Representative.
  16. The Druid breathed in deeply, irritated by the Monk. "I'm afraid that my coffers weren't quite filled by our recent quest, Party Leader. I intend to make other purchases, so let me be clear: I cannot afford to purchase the robe at that price. I will not purchase it unless you lower the price to 230 gold. I allowed you your reign over coin distribution, just as I allowed you the chance to give orders and make your own mistakes once I saw that you were capable, but that doesn't change the fact that most of the other party members got more out of the quest than myself. I am not one to complain over such a petty non-issue, however, in money-based transactions, I have no qualms bringing such items to bare. 230 gold... for a... friend." The last word fell from his mouth with surprising genuineness. The voice sounded tired, old-even. Older even than Monk Pretzel's.
  17. That's it. I want to be a "Scholar." Speaking from experience: it is. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. "Are you sure? Alex, Would you mind confirming?"
  19. You mean Sister?" The Druid Queried. "My Friend, the bat, is not intruding, therefore, I will not remove her. You were saying? The robe? I would love to buy it. how about 230 gold coins?" OoC: let's haggle it up to the prearranged price.
  20. Yes... And I find that quite odd. Even when I was super swamped, I'd find my way on after no more than a work-week.... He's been gone for several... I hope he's alright. I'm actually kinda worried. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. A gust of wind entered the room. Drifting on that gust of wind, as if a leaf on a branch, or a cloth swept off its line by a powerful gust, floated the silhouetted shape of Sylph Solanum. Nearly ethereal did he look descending from the outside, but as the light from the sun receded, his form grew clearer, until what had seemed shockingly like a ghost or black spirit was clearly now the armoured druid who made his abode within the brick halls. His cold metal helmet sought a place to rest from the tiring, but uninteresting ordeal he'd been through. Gnomes and holes in the ground and Bonaparte politics were all such dull affairs... But the Spider he'd saved... and the Wolves... The idealistic wolves who'd see the city burn... He'd saved them too. Their lives had some use to the Druid. A potential for events to arise that would not otherwise... The Druid was content, but his wit dulled like an unused sword by the mad monk. "Hmm." He chuckled to himself under his breezy breath. He descended upon a chair in the dark corner, his bat resting on his shoulder.
  22. Yes. It's this game, but you have to form a path instead of clear the board, and you don't lose automatically after stepping on a "Mine."
