Sorry I haven't been around. Had to take a nap and then "prepare food for the dinner rush" at work. It reads to me as a vote of convenience. you saw which way the wind was blowing and wanted to jump in with the rest of the sheep. Al not participating in the fluff did not surprise me. From what I recall of his behavoir from previous times we've spoken, his taciturn behavoir is as I expected it to be. Earlier in the day, yours was not. in fact, if I had to say I trusted one person thusfar to be a townie, I'd say it's him. while I don't think either Russel or Brian are behaving especially scummy, neither is behaving especially townie. I freely admit I can't read Shadows at all. so, considering we need a lynch to anchor our analysis of today's voting patterns, I'll Unvote: Ace (Kintobor) and Vote: Brian (Shadows) who I would not have been able to read anyways. Sorry Shady

Heh, that's quite alright. I assumed as much, in fact, but I still felt the need to draw it to your attention. As for Wanda's experience, I must differ in opinion. She's seen as many "films" as I have and more recently to boot. I can't agree that she should benefit from the inexperience card any longer... That said, I feel compelled to Unvote: Wanda (Piratedave84). While I don't believe she's as naive as you suggest, I was not taking into account some other relevant points of discussion. (Like the discussion thread). I realize now that what I was interpreting as scummy was likely only a result of an Internet connection that's crummy. I rescind my earlier accusations. I don't really agree with that logic. If my (fallable) memories serve me, Al is always a more taciturn townie. Also, I can't wrap my head around a scum willingly putting himself into such a situation as Al ended up in. A smart scum would at least provide a rationale for voting so swiftly. And of course it's obvious to me at least that he's only adding emphasis to Shelly's vote. it wasn't that rediculous. Or if it was, I'm just not that bright. The fact that he didn't acknowledge the vote is honestly what triggered my suspicion. That, combined with his lackluster attendance and seeming disinterest in anything, bugged me. I don't believe that any one is accusing you of "trying to evade" connections with other scum, it's mostly (at least, in my thinking) that you were so utterly wishy-washy and did not even acknowledge a vote cast in you, as if you could just trust it to blow away. Now I'm going to cast my vote on someone who I genuinely HAVE been suspicious of all day. Vote: Ace (Kintobor) What first drew my suspicion was his lack of attendance in the earlier, fluffier portion of the day, and now what has me suspicious of him is a number of things, but mostly his recent jump onto the Al bandwagon (even when he stated earlier that Shadows' indecision was much more scummy that Al's hasty vote). It reeks of convenience to me. We still have plenty of day left before a bandwagon vote like his is necessary to seal the lynch.

To be perfectly honest, I'm just really excited to be outside the kitchen again. It's been a while. Also I have a smart phone now and can get online much more frequently than ever before. Also, I have voted. Wanda's last comment looked like a scum trying g to skate below the radar without saying anything useful. merely showing up to keep people from pointing out she hasn't said anything. Of she's not scum, then she's not helping the town with comments like that. it wasn't even fluff, just nothing.

Heroica RPG - Quest #134: The Sky Is Falling
Dannylonglegs replied to Endgame's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Warlen, that attack could kill the snake. We should focus on the dog. If luck serves us well we could bring him down next turn." Sylph targeted Viper C from the back. OoC: if anyone's wondering, Sylph would not benefit from this. OoC: Ok, I figured, but I was just curious about their wording. Can they be placed in the battle order? Because that could benefit us. I would actually have assumed that they could be placed in order, but maybe I'm just stretching. It halves my health and ether and when the encounter is over I get double xp. If we're feeling confident towards the end of this encounter, it would be multiplied too by the Medal of Glory, I think. That would be a pretty cool thing to try out if you're willing! obviously though, that would depend on how this round turns out. -

Wow, yeah, merci for pointing that out. She's already got one vote in her, but it clearly didn't register with her. I must have missed this while looking over more important statements. Thanks for showing up. This statement does not sit right with me. You ignore a vote directed at you, and say next to nothing of any value. Not a smart or townie move, by my books. I'm going to Vote: Wanda (Piratedave84) at least just to get her to respond to the vote. I think you confused Brian for Wanda at the beginning of your comment there, mon amis! As for the vote on Shadows, I freely admit I cannot and likely will never be able to read him one way or the other. True, but I called you out because I know you to be a talkative person. I've been gone a while, but things like that aren't things I'd expect to change overnight.

Guilty as charged! You can tell how long it's been by my archaic and outdated inside jokes. Interesting conclusion, but I don't know if I agree with it. It may have been a while since my last time out of the kitchen, but last time I checked, the first and second vote draw a lot more attention to one's self than a scum would be interested in obtaining. Of course there's always the WIFOM argument to be made, but I don't know if I'd agree with that either. Anyways, I'd expect more of Al than to show his scummy hands this easily with nothing more than a hop on a bandwagon. You know who I find's been oddly quiet lately? Ace (Kintobor). That's not what I'd expect of him in a situation like this from the drinks we've shared elaewhere. Perhaps I only know him from our drinking games, but he's always been a talkative type there...

Eh bien? I guess someone had to cut le gateaux. I can't say I recall how you normally act, but you've been rather stern all game. Perhaps you could benefit from one of Chez Albert's delightfuly fluffy fresh-baked croissants drizzled in locally sourced honey and thinly sliced almond slivers. Lighten up, mon homme. It is only the first day, apres tout! That said, I don't disagree with you. There is nothing to go on yet. a feeling is as good as anything. What will be really interesting though is the conversation you've started. Quel domage, I was quite enjoying the small talk. Sacre-bleu! A vote for Shadows is a vote for you. In Shadows we trust. Hon Hon hon. I'm not sure how to think about this. This is the first time in my recent memory anyone's drawn Shadows' scumminess to a head on day one. Of course that's probably because most of us know that he intentionally presents as scummy even when he's not.

OoC: Would the birds absorb a free hit from the hastened Vipers? Can we put them first in order so they can do that? -
Hon hon hon! (that's French for Ha ha ha) Freshest food at the Emporium?! I think not! You'll never get fresher than Chez Albert!

Non! You've got it all wrong! I employ an ethical butcher! All of the animals we serve at Chez Albert give their meat gladly to be served at such a high class establishment as ours! They're happy to be part of such fine cuisine! Look at their adorable little faces! So happy! Furthermore, the only thing fluffy here I see is my delightfully fluffy Quiche prepared from freerange eggs. Today's special is salmon, but we've also got a mouth-watering sausage quiche! Don't be so hasty, mon amis! Illiteracy does not preclude scumminess by any means. Mon Dieu! that's a lot of words! I can see why you're the publicity man, and I, the chef! Your analysis is spot on!... And not just because you're complimenting my exquisite cuisine... which is as it should be, of course. Flip-flopping is sign of a scum! (or a fish)! You just stated there's no correlation between donuts and fish either way, but then said that there was! Which is it, Sarah?! Sounds fishy to me!

You're right! How ever will we progress through day 3 and onwards without claiming to Hinckley!? Garnish fish with a lime for a dish that's sublime, yo!

Why thank you! One does their best. *tips chefs hat* *makes sure hair net is still secure* I simply must disagree with your analysis. Fish=meat=good=town. By that logic, then, the donut connoisseurs would be the vegitarians... I mean scum. Well... same difference in my opinion. Anyone who does not eat meat is as good as a murderer.
