All I have to say about Jet Rocka is the bigger the better, I personally want bigger sets with vehicles and such.

Great review here with nice and clear pictures! Personally I don't find the set too interesting as I'm really not a big fan of pearl gold for mocing, or Rocka for that matter. Of the smaller hero sets I'd say Breez seems to be the most interesting one, the only interesting part I see in Rocka that is exclusive to his set would be his transparent sword. Great to see more reviews of the Brain attack sets showing up, can't wait to get my hands on some of these sets myself!

Still no sign of any of the new sets in Norway, the only 2013 sets that can be found anywhere are the Star Wars ones of all things. They'll be out by March like they did next year, hopefully they'll come out sooner, but I doubt it :c

Did someone say minigun?

Don't really know what to expect, but I do like that we finally got some pictures at last. Is anyone else a bit disappointed by the lack of "launchers"? I guess they gave up on the zamor launchers?

The one thing I'm most curious about is how the cores will be implemented on the heros this time around. My OCD really disliked the fact that the old cores didn't really go that well with the new cores we got this year. I really hope they'll settle with some kind of consistent design in terms of the hero cores. There's a lot of things Bionicle did wrong through it's time, but I can safely say that from the Ignika wave and onward none of the sets looked outdated and went really well with each other, same thing can't be said about the 2.0 style heros and the ones in the Breakout waves. Still waiting on those pictures, hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

Don't know if this is the right topic for this, but does anyone know when the summer sets pieces will be available on Pick-A-Brick? I'd really want to get lots of the purple pieces from Voltix.

And what is the reason?

How do you know we're gonna see pictures of the upcoming sets so early, is there anywhere I can find information on this?

Meet Shellshock, destroyer of hopes and dreams. Continuing Lego's little tradition of yellow cyclops with too many weapons. This moc started out as a joke, trying to make some obscure backpack arsenal with too many weapon that you could put on any hero, and soon turned into an actual project. Really liked how this guy turned out, he's obviously ninjago inspired. Come to think of it a Hero Factory ninja line would be pretty cool. Although this weapon arsenal can fit on any hero that has a foot covering their back (like Bulk, Rocka etc.) the weight makes it hard for them to stand up, hence why Shellshock has extra leg support made to counter this: Aaaaand Typhoon, the swordsman with his skystalker. "How am I gonna stop some big mean motherhubbard from tearin' me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer? Use a gun. And if that don' work Use MORE gun." -The Engineer What is better then a arsenal featurering two double-barrel machine guns? A arsenal featurering two double-barrel machine guns with laser-targeting that flies. Similar to Shellshocks arsenal it can easily be fitted on any hero with a feet used as armor on they're back. I had a lot of blue lying around, and I really wanted to use Breez 2.0 headgear cause it just looks so cool. "Safety first!" That's all I have for now, thanks for checking by!

I just can't say how much I love this moc, you've captured the steampunk look just right. And made a female figure with proper proportions, which I've tried myself and I find extremely hard.
-
I really love all of these, though again I love everything that is Bionicle these days. I especially like the Rahkshi, it looks very similar to the Rahkshi featured in the Bionicle Heros video game, possible inspiration perhaps?

That is a lot of nostalgia in one post, I have this set myself and remember it being my favorite Roborider set. Perhaps we might see something similar made with the Hero Factory system in the future? That would be pretty cool.

I have to say I really enjoy your art in general Roly, you have a very nice style and I like both the Hero Factory artwork you do as well as other type of artwork you do

I've updated with a new set of pictures, and thanks for the feedback once again! Wow thanks for the great feedback man, I appreciate it! I've gotten all the breakout sets that interest me by now (I don't feel like the Nex and Stringer sets offer that much new) except for Speed Demon of course, which is nowhere to be found at my lcoation. That does make a lot of sense, I have to say Aanchir you're my go-to person when there's something lego related that I'm curious about, I mean the amount of information you have on pretty much everything makes me wonder how much you really know! Of course I can't pose all the Heros as cool as XT4, with it having four arms and unusual leg design making his pose look natural isn't all that important compared to the more humanoid sets. Thanks for the feedback Aanchir! I'm always interested in what you have to say. Thanks for the feedback, I've post another set of pictures, hope you enjoy! -
Basically lego needs to make a Neon Genesis Evangelion line. Delicious pruple

Exo-force is one of my favorite themes, it even had a small tv series and everything. And they sort of just left it in the with no real closure Exo-force 2.0 with HF system would defiantly be awesome, though I doubt this will happen as they're trying to go for the "action figure" theme with this system, using very little parts and making it easy for small kids to build with. Though again, anything could happen! Does anyone know when the next Brick/toy-something con where they show of upcoming sets?

I'd love to see some new female Heroes, though I doubt it will happen. Would still be awesome though

I updated with two new pictures! Core Hunter and Bulk. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! Thronaxx is very hard to pose right, even after so many pictures this is the only on that turned out remotely good. I'm just an amateur at this, so that means quite a lot, thanks! I just wanted to give my little thoughts on each set, but didn't want to make an entire review, glad you liked them! I should work at Lego's commerical campaign don't you think? Thanks! Also why did you stop buying sets at 3.0, that's when it started getting really good! -
Just though I'd share some picture I've taken of the official Breakout series sets, as I quite like this wave! Evo - The Gunmen That arm sure does look like it packs quite the firepower. XT4 - The Psycho He seems to get a lot of hate, I for one love him. He's new torso piece is amazing and he's worth it for that part alone. I mean look at this guy, he's got a chainsaw, lazer and four arms! I love all the crazy villains they keep releasing! This picture turned out quite nicely if I say so myself, the cover art of XT4 really doesn't make him all that appealing, I trust you he's a lot more interesting once you got him in your hands. Rocka - The Marksman I'm not a big fan of him, pearl gold has so little use (at least for me), but he comes with some amazing parts, including his gorgeous shield. Thornaxx - The Plague Was just released in the US, though it's been in Europe since wave 1, though I didn't take a picture before now. He's an interesting little fellow, the teal color looks amazing, I hope to see more of that color in the future. Black Phantom - The Mastermind Also known as Fire Lord 2.0 Core Hunter - The Hunter Splinter cell in Hero Factory form. I don't think I even need to mention how cool this guy is. He has a perfect color scheme (which is a huge plus in term of Hero Factory), looks good from all angles, and comes with an amazing set of black parts which are always useful. He's favorited by quite a lot of people, I think he looks pretty cool, but I still like XT4 and Voltix more of the wave 2 villains. Bulk - The Grunt Certainly lives up to his name, but maybe a little too much? The shoulder pads gets in the way of his head quite a bit and I can't seem to be able to keep his helmet perfectly on his head, I'd even go as far to say it is an illegal build. Apart from that he is a cool looking trooper , pretty much any hero with a shoulder mounted lazer guiding double nuclear rocket launcher is awesome in my book. Though he's well armed, he isn't dakka material. His torso printing is also pretty stylish, it's to my surprise a pretty gold color. Stormer - The Leader He's a lot cooler then expected. I defiantly welcome any titan set that isn't using that ugly Fire Lord base, I'm looking forward to what kind of titans they'll bring next year. He comes with a bunch of fun new connectors, though he is a bit expensive, I'd only recommend buying him if you have the money for him. I still can't get over the fact that he's right arm only has two armor add-ons, I don't understand why they couldn't just add a last one in there. Voltix - The Destroyer of hopes and dreams Look at this guy, he makes no sense whatsoever, he's purple, yellow, red, gunmetal among other things. And it still works! Just had to buy this guy just because. I mean he has a tentacle, just like, there. And he shoots electricity from his head, he's so amazing. That's it! Onto making mocs now! Update: 2 new pictures! Update: 2 more new pictures!

Umbra? As in the Bionicle titan on roller-skates? I don't understand

Hey does anyone know if Speed Demon is a hard to find item or not. The Breakout 2.0 sets has arrived where I live (Norway) but I can't for the love of god find him in any store or the online shop. Thanks in advance.

So I heard you guys like proportions

Which 2011 second wave sets are you getting?
exxtrooper replied to exxtrooper's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Well since you already have Bulk and Furno, I'd suggest getting Raw-Jaw. As Hero Factory is still fairly new so people don't really have a wide variety of parts to already build with it's important to build up your lot with colors that you'll have use for in the future. Raw-Jaw has alot of great red armor pieces and probably includes more new parts then any of the other sets. Since you already have Furno, Raw-Jaw is a great set if you want to modify him into a bigger creation with all the armor you get, he also has alot of metallic pieces for Bulk. And he's also quite cool looking, though that is based on preference. -
These don't even look like lego.
