  1. Welcome aboard MontanaVista! Glad to know you're back to our wonderful Lego hobby. Do enjoy your stay here in Eurobricks!
  2. Welcome to the forums AlexPL! It's nice to hear that classic sets appeal more to you than their modern counterparts. Like you, classic sets will always have a special place in my heart even in this day and age of specialized and realistic modern sets. Well, I hope you enjoy your stay here and see you around.
  3. You learned well from (one of) the best. That's what I call the "Protego-your-way-to-preserve-your-victory" technique (patented by the one-and-only Ms.Fabray).
  4. A very lovely and peaceful scene HeLena, nicely done! Though I think the fisherman would need a bigger bucket if he catches another one.
  5. Haha, very nice vigs Skafte, I love these! I happen to watch both of these shows on Discovery, and I must say you really captured that Deadliest Catch scene very well with the accurately-built king crab cage. And you custom Jamie Hyneman minifig is pretty spot-on. Very well done!
  6. Very interesting mini-spaceship design MB, I love the way you used those curved pieces to achieve a SNOT slope-y build. I'm just not so sure about the gaps as they're a bit distracting. Still, nice work on this quite unique mini!
  7. Wow, this is a great entry Yaatku! The way you combined a realistic-looking structure with a functioning elevator mechanism is certainly most impressive. I just love the way you captured the textured walls of the entrance and the color variation of the tiles in the walls and pavement. Excellent work overall and best of luck in the contest!
  8. Simply the BEST AT-AT I've ever seen. Congratulations on this masterful creation jamie75! Not even close. Should not be even mentioned in the same conversation.
  9. BTW, what do the numbers preceding the character names mean?
  10. Nice brasso work, it must've taken you quite a considerable amount of effort to finish this one. Pardon my ignorance but I can't seem to recognize that torso? (I'm thinking a SP3 or World Racers).
  11. Glad to hear my LXF files were quite useful.
  12. Nice work on this simple color modification of the Eta-2 Capt.Dan, it's always nice to see differently-colored JSFs. Do you intend to modify this further to make it more accurate to the real thing?
  13. Very well done tharris147! The 7993 Service Station is one of my most favorite City sets and I really like the significant modifications that you did with it. It's nice to see the expanded and completed store shop and car wash. Great job!
  14. Simply a lovely creation cagri! What makes this truly special is the effective use of plates instead of bricks to achieve that accurate brickwall effect. The tiled pavement also adds a nice smooth finish to the whole build. Just a great job overall!
  15. Your Triple-Pane Funny is simply hilarious Rufus, literally gave me a chuckle upon seeing it. @Cloney, I love the last 'Horn' shot, the one- -liner -worder -musical toner is just .
  16. Simply an amazing MF build, looks like it's minifig-scaled, though I'm not so sure (too lazy to measure that thing and compare with the dimensions of the real MF). It would also be interesting to see how the other builds for each episode will look like. I assume it would be EPIC, hope someone can share pictures when they visit LEGOLand Cali.
  17. Green ladies man! I'm the most recent victim of ISC's power-gone-mad title-giving rampage, given to me after I foolishly exposed my silly-named email address. @Fangy: Even if I can do it, I'll just let you add this to the index since you're the official Indexer of this thread.
  18. Wow, looks like you have a mini-MOC expert-in-the-making lego-maniac. Those are extremely well done for a 6-year old. The shape, color, and overall design are pretty much spot-on.
  19. Interesting design for the Dark Hyve Fighter, the front 'pincers' remind me a lot of Rhino Beetle horns. And as previously pointed out, very clever use of the life raft piece. Nice work!
  20. Ah, some things just never change. You still got my number Oky, nice duel. I guess Diana needs to rest for a while, she achieved what she ultimately wanted, so a break might be needed (unless someone wants to face a DE ). Thanks again for the ADJ Walter!
  21. Welcome to the forums Holko, that is quite a nice entry, a bit simple but I assume represents Grindelwald's Tower well (sorry not failiar with the real one). Since you're using flickr, this is how you do it: Right click on the photo > choose Medium 640 > Right click again on the photo > choose Copy Image Location, then paste the URL on the Insert Image icon in your post, then you're done with the deeplink, just like this one: Hope that helps!
  22. I think we should give it a rest on this 'What's the name of the ARF Trooper?" debate. If you want to be a geeky SW nerd about it, then name the ARF as Razor. If you're the free-spirited playful Lego fan, then name the ARF anyway you want. The way I saw it, commanderneyo was simply answering someone's question so we need not make a big fuss about it.
  23. Oh, I'm so scared of the Ice Cream Boy... ...NOT! This looks like we'll have an exciting finish. Round 3 DS sent!
  24. Haha, nice one MB! To add on to the caption: "I've got one big head....and I don't sleep that well." or Ono: "Dude, do you have insomnia?" Saesee's eyes are really creeping me out.
  25. 2. RTS Zavala - 1 point 6. La Mort Royale - 1 point 8. HMS Prince of Wales - 1 point 9. Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion - 1 point 11. Le Sang Royale - 1 point 14. HMS Leopard - 1 point 17. Tornado of Souls - 1 point
