Thankyou Dave for the manuals. Once the final part order from BL arrives I'll get straight into it -

Might have to build a mini A-wing to take your SSD out. Then again, LEGO dont build bricks that small. -
MODs & MOCs: Streamlined 7938, 7939 & Other Creations
Sharkyla replied to TOP's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Nice mods on the 7938. I'm redesigning mine now (cmon bricklink deliveries) Going for a Horizion Express type. I believe the original is too tall, especially compared to the Maersk and the 7939 cargo trains. Will post pics once completed. -
Project: Aliens - Colonial Marines
Sharkyla replied to Blacktron's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Yeah im in the same boat, plus i'm considering purchasing the Super Star Destroyer - one of the few star wars models i'd consider buying. Hopefully by end of year i'll have a better plan. I think light blueish grey would be nice, as the darker grey tends to show less detail. Once I get some idea of making my APC (must be able to drive into the dropship) ill put em up..... -

@ Blacktron.... Fantastic work!! Im planning on building the APC, then the Dropship (both to scale of course) Seeing your minifigs (smartgunner one is Wunderbar!) makes me want to start building. -
That is one of my goals to build a good sized version of the USMC APC, that and the landing craft. Maybe one day when the wife will let me.

Yeah, have all my LEGO from when I was a kid, apart from the random teeth marks, they indeed do clutch like new. Bought the Enlighten 'Frisco Fe' and about 6 boxcar/tanker carriages. Not too bad for a clone brand. (all up about $80 AUD, free postage) I have a ton of their track as it is a whole lot cheaper. Of course though, the two brands will never mix LEGO train track is far too expensive, even more so as I live in Australia.

Big fan of the MAERSK type containers. Ordered my first bunck of parts from BrickLink, hopefully will have a few more containers to add to the collection.

Nice sub. Making a submarine will be my dream project. looking at the Australian Collinc Class design. Not too worried about inside, just wanna make it for a display.

Brilliant work... Makes me want to start going 'micro' on all my train sets....

Planning a family now, not sure how i'll go with sharing my Lego. I still find bits with teeth marks for when I was a kid.

Nice carpentry skills there Paul B. Starting to get into wood work again myself. Didn't know how big the Rescue Helo was, just bought one for a bargain price off Ebay. Was looking at wall shelves myself to display my tecnhic stuff, planning on building a large table for my trains......

I'd love it if they made longer tracks, not the short sections they produce now......

Great Mod, looking at adding to my Maersk and other cargo trains. The color yellow seems to work rather well.
