  1. FAIL! That has Kranxx standing up on his bike!
  2. You win this time Imagine that smiley but without the eyebrows (That's what I used it for.) They (Kmart) also have the Sports Car and Tow Truck marked as Christmas layby "Mummy, can I have those two cars?" "No, they're too expensive, we'll layby them for Christmas" As if that would happen EDIT: According to that SPIII is now availible
  3. Toodles? Who?! Yes, my Kmart had THREE different LEGO sections because there was so much City!. One in the toy aisle, one near the makeup/hair stuff and one at the entrance.
  4. So, you believe that Endor is Toyworld exclusive because it got them first, but you don't believe City is exclusive? Anyone sighted SPIII yet?
  5. Yay! The Rock Wrecker is the same price as the Thunder Driller! ($35 during sale) It seems all of the new City is Kmart exclusive.
  6. I didn't want to wait for Nute Gunray The price for the Enforcer is amazing! Was Squidman Escape/Freeze Ray Frenzy marked down?
  7. WHAT?! I payed $12 more than I should have!
  8. I went to Kmart and they had the whole (new) City range and a few Separatist Shuttles (Review coming soon) ($57.99) At least we got $2.00 off
  9. Bruce Spruce toys has some nice custom/official bandit minifigs, here is A personal favorite because I never got the Wild West theme and I've been looking for a black bandana

  11. I'm not. I won't be getting it anyway. Face it, it's a big ball'o power tubes with nice figures. I'd like to see if the SPIII impulses will be there, Cheapest set with Snake
  12. Who What is that alien being released from the Galactic Enforcer? It's definitely not Snake.
  13. Can it be that everyone that enters get one of those Customizer tags?
  14. I think you mean Myer? Well, Myer also has 20% off LEGO including $100 off the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal.
  15. Here is Ned Kelly without a helmet. I don't currently have Battle of Endor (That bearded rebel head would be perfect ) so Obi-Wan Kenobi it is. I don't think he has blue eyes and his hair is brown. And here is a trooper. I don't have a Henry Jones Sr. hat so I used an Imperial hat. If LEGO had made Black Coats that would have been very helpful
  16. Yes, seems a bit too Halo-ish to me Isn't that an exact copy of you sigfig?
  17. Obviously not you, since you're the on that forced (not really) me to change my avatar back to Ackbar! (Hey, that rhymes!)
  18. That back-story good enough?
  19. I might use clay to make some aliens too like this one. I know, Admiral Ackbar gone horribly wrong.
  20. Perhaps I should show you a shot of the real Ned Kelly's armor
  21. "Such is life." - Ned Kelly's last words. (1854-1880) If you don't know, Ned Kelly was an Australian outlaw. Many people (including me) claim he was a hero because he never gave in to the police. During his and his gang's final battle in Glenrowan, they made made bulllet proof armor from metal. The police had been notified about this armor before but had dismissed it as nonsense. The armor consisted of a helmet with eye slots, that rested on shoulders. This was the only separate part. The main torso armor covered front and back. Attatched to the bottom of the torso armor was more metal that protected the groin and thighs. Ned was the only one to also have it on the back. The final battle was the Kelly gang against a small army of troopers (police.) The armor proved its usefulness as Kelly was shot in the stomach but not hurt at all. This took place in a small hotel (one storey.) Ned was hanged at the Melboune Gaol in November 1880. I'm sorry if that wasn't a back story. I was just telling some history. Figure: Ned Kelly (Possible) Theme: Real Heroes. (Possible) Sets: Stringybark Creek(medium) The Fitzpatrick incident(medium) Glenrowan(large) Trooper (impulse) Ned Kelly (impulse) Front: You can see the groin plate. The helmet is an imperial hat. The dark(er) large hole is the aforementioned stomach shot. I modified the shotgun to make it more accurate (longer.) I did the boots with Sharpie. Back. Like I said, he was the only one with a back lower plate. The dark spots are nails. Closeup of the shoulder armor which I forgot to mention above. You're in Kelly territory now. Real backstory: Somehow, the LEGO designer realised that if TLG released a one year theme of real heroes, It might attract more buyers. Even if it was only released for a year, the buyers would start to see other themes. And instead of Clone Wars action figures, ( ) the kids would go straight to the LEGO aisle.
  22. If we cut a piece of paper out then add the detail, does that count as a decal? Because technically we still apply it.
  23. EDIT: Found me. You can only see the head.
