My nearest TRU is around 5-10 minutes away. I almost never buy things there, though. I usually just go there to check out the box art on the sets, and to see some of the sets on display in those plastic containers. TRU is usually way overpriced. They had the Pirate impluses for $7.00 USD each (normal price $3.50)! That's like paying $0.40 - $0.45 per piece! Sorry about going off topic.

I voted for the musket because it has the longest range of fire.

I got these two this fake set picture from a post in the "LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours" topic. Note that I wasn't the one who found it them. NOTE: The strike-throughs are there because I can't find a picture of the fake Jedi Starfighter set (because Brickshelf isn't working) was removed from Brickshelf. This picture that I posted might also be removed from Brickshelf later.

You can easily tell that that's a fake set...the picture is blurry, and the puctuation of "Obi-Wan's jedifighter & Hyperspace Ring" gives it away. Also, sets in the 10000 series are UCS sets, and that doesn't look like one. And I think that Bossk meant to say that the word "MOC" is on the link that he gave.

Sorry about not posting the new stuff for a while, but I don't have time right now. I'll try to upload the pictures of the other two racers before April 2009 ends.

Nice tanks! (and pictures) I hope that you washed the treads on the tanks when you brought them back in... By the way, how many tanks did you make in all?

Thanks for explaining what those trans-blue cylinders are guys! By the way I've actually never watched a Star Wars movie (except for Star Wars: The Clone Wars). I watched a bit of the movie where Anakin becomes Darth Vader, but that's it. I have no idea why I like LEGO Star Wars so much... EDIT: I voted above average because it comes with gungans and kaadus.

Ah, I wish I could get this while its on sale, but I probably won't. Reasons: 1. I need to save all my "LEGO set money" for most of the new Star Wars stuff, and I don't want to spend over $300-$400 for 2009 (in 2008 I only spent around $70 on LEGO ). 2. I can't buy online. 3. I won't ask my mom to go the LEGO Store in Valley Fair just to get a $20 set (even if it's only $0.02 per piece). The cost to drive there and back is already around $5... This is a very good deal, and I wish I could get it. I probably have less than 2000 pieces in my LEGO collection, so getting this would be a great parts pack (though I would probably just keep it built). By the way all the prices I used above are in USD.

Does that mean if you find a chrome Vader, you're going to "pretend" that the 50 battle packs had nothing special in them? It's not a win-win situation for your wallet.

Great review! (The same thing I said in your other two reviews ) I wish that LEGO would still have all printed pieces instead of some printed pieces and many stickers. According to Peeron (again ), the MSRP price of the Flash Speeder was $10.00 USD. I don't know how much it cost in the Netherlands, though. EDIT: I voted average for this set.

Do you think that the scout troopers will have a black minifig head or a flesh one with the black thing covering the eyes? I think that it's going to have a black head.

Yeah, and the back of the tank droid box would have a picture of the interior if there is one. There's only three features in this preliminary box back picture: 1. Flick-fire missiles 2. It can roll 3. Jet trooper launching thingy The box also looks pretty oversized for the set...

I just saw Hostage Crisis today, and it was great! Cad Bane is a great character, and after the episode, they said that there's going to be a lot more of him ("The bounty hunters are here to stay" )! His voice was also good, but it seemed to vary often. Sometimes his voice is raspy, and sometimes it isn't. Like when he said, "I'm in control. I make the rules now. Understand?". It sounds so much different than when he said "Here we go." at the beginning of the episode. It was also great so see all of those senate commandos, but they were pretty useless in this episode. Was this the second time that they appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars? (I haven't watched about 5 or 6 episodes, but I will later) Also, it was my first time seeing those droid commandos, so that was great, too. They also didn't do anything in the episode, though (all they did was get in the senate commando suits and say that nothing was wrong in their clone voice). Did anyone else see that blue protocol droid? It would also look pretty good as a minifigure. Too bad the bounty hunters just destroyed it (along with an assistant droid and some other ones). I hope that Cad Bane is going to be in minifigure form for one of the sets in the January 2010 wave. There are some things that I wonder about, though. 1. Why did Padme take the lightsaber with her? She could've just put it back on the table... 2. When Bane sent out all the bounty hunters and was talking to Chancellor Palpatine, Padme could've just killed him with the lightsaber (although she would probably never have even done that). Then he wouldn't have gotten away... (though that would mean that many future episodes would be messed up ). Too bad the second season for SW: The Clone Wars is going to be in fall. That's going to be a long wait... Also, the "cliffhanger" is that . P.S. I think that they're showing too much stuff between Padme and Anakin...the kids who watch the Clone Wars probably don't want to watch that.

I think that most of the clone gunner helmets might have bad printing. Mine has three bad parts to it: 1. The Republic insignias are an oval shape instead of circular. 2. You can see a lot of white under the green printing. 3. Some parts of the brown printing are thick, and some parts are thin (it's a lighter brown). If you order a replacement helmet, you might just get another badly printed helmet. Can anyone tell if the printing on this clone gunner's helmet is good? It was the helmet that was displayed at the 2009 Toy Fair for the CW Battle Pack. If it was, LEGO probably just searched through many helmets until they found one with a good print. EDIT: Also, here's another picture: You can easily tell that the helmet on that clone gunner is one with a good print. Sorry about the off-topic post.

I voted bent chrome as my favorite, and the regular lightsabers as my least favorite. Even though I've never owned a chrome lightsaber (let alone a chrome piece), I really want to get a chrome one, and the re-release of the bent chrome hilt (and the release of the magnet set with Dooku in it ) is the perfect way to get it. The only bley hilts I own are from the Droids Battle Pack, which had 4 that were used as guns (I have no jedi/sith, let alone main characters in Star Wars... ). Oh, and by the way, you should change the poll to a non multiple choice type...

Ah...I have to post a picture of the March 2009 monthly mini-build (at LEGO Stores) set over here (yes, I'm not that old ) later. It has a brick built leprechaun and a pot of gold (a metallic 2 x 2 brick!). By the way, it was free!

Well, I've only actually started liking LEGO since 2006 or 2007, so there's probably a lot of things that I want now that were made a while ago. I wanted the Imperial Star Destroyer that was on sale for $60 on Black Friday, but they already ran out by the time I got to Target. I sorta wanted the Hoth Rebel Base (because I wanted snowtroopers), but now I can just get the Echo Base set. I also wanted the MTT (2007 version) because of all those droids... Oh, and I saw the 2006 version of the Slave I once, but I wasn't into LEGO then, and I thought that it was overpriced. I don't want those sets THAT much anymore, but I want them a bit. EDIT: There's probably other sets that I also want, but I can't think of any others right now.

That seems pretty good for someone who's just starting to do stop-motion (no I never tried doing it ), but you might want to try to keep the camera in one place (do people use tripods for that?). Also, the music from Rambo is pretty weird... It seems like a pretty good start.

It obviously is fake... I wish that it could be a real set, because I don't have any vulture droids at the moment.

Thanks for the review! I always like reading LEGO Harry Potter reviews, because I never got a Harry Potter set (I wasn't into LEGO at that time they were released). I hope that LEGO will continue the line for the sixth and seventh movies so I could get a few sets. I never knew that this Hogwarts Castle had that many accessories! The Severus Snape figure looks much better than the one with the glow-in-the-dark head. I wish I could've gotten this set, but I wasn't into LEGO at that time it was released. There's so many cool and exclusive parts in this set! Once again, I must say that this set is amazing.
