I have tried various methods, but that is as straight as vader will lie down. Sorry. I also think it turned out alot better the second time.

could a Mod change the description of the topic to say "Epic Scenes Small"? Thank you. thank you all for the suggestions. I made this a small entry, put DV's helmet on, changed around the fire a little bit, and more closely confined the trees. hope you guys like it!

Aparently this set will look something like this: Now I really can't wait to see how TLC recreates this famous landmark!

My entry for the Epic Scenes Contest is the scene in RotJ where Luke Skywalker is cremating his father on Endor. Enjoy! This is an overall action shot. as you can see, Luke is watching his father's corpse burn in the middle of an open spot in the forest...but wait! Who is that beside Luke? Here is a close-up shot to show all of the minifigures and the burn site. I don't quite remember if this was in the movie, but I'm sure that the ghose of Ben Kenobi would be watching too. As you can see, the burn site is using a Snot technique on the sides, the center of the fire is a lava monster's head, and the blue fire piece is Anakin's force spirit leaving his body. I purposely used a yellow-skinned Ben for a nostalgic look. This overhead picture is just to show that my MOC is on a 16x16 baseplate. I hope you liked my entry! coments and constructive criticism are gladly welcomed.

LEGO Universe pre-order starts the 14th of May
Pirate Pete replied to sologuy369's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, I just pre-ordered my copy, but I know I didn't waste my money. I am a beta tester for the game, and it is really cool, but that is just my opinion. I will try to do a "review" in Autumn when the game releases. -
It's a beautiful day at the carnival, and especially at the main attraction: the magic show, where the Magician is pulling off one of his greatest tricks: replacing an audience member's head on his table. And he does it flawlessly! But how will he get it back? Obviously this vignette is made for the magician minifigure, and only has overhang by the minifigs' arms. I hope you like it!

Yes, I already tried it with my father's computer, but it still doesn't work. This is getting quite frustrating. -

I just downloaded Opera, but it still doesn't work. do you have any other suggestions? -
Ok, I have a review of Lotso's dump truck in pictures, but any time that I try to press the "toggle side panel" button, it just brings me to the top of the screen and does nothing. I have Internet Explorer 6, but I have tried it on Mozilla Fire fox, and Internet Explorer 7 & 8. I need help FAST!

I just bought and built the "Fight for the Dagger" set and wanted to say a few quick things (since I don't have a camera and can't make a review): Pros: Brand new figs, all with new headgear Beautiful Middle Eastern look to the building Gold quarter dome pieces 20 of the new inverted slopes in a new color camel Cons: kind of small and cramped if you take one of the boxes off of the camel, he tips over 50 pieces short of TLG's regular price/piece ratio All in all, this is a wonderful set and I would suggest it to anybody! Any questions?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Pirate Pete replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just to clear things up a bit: According to CopMike's review of the minifigure series, the minifigs will indeed have 100% TLG quality. Just for further reassurance, I have a theory why it wouldn't be China-plastic: TLG said that the "China-plastic" was, indeed made in China, but also was for acessories and other miscelaneous items. Minifigures will be a series, not acessories. Thus proving that these WILL not be China-plastic. -

Question about Darth Vader's TIE Advanced?
Pirate Pete replied to jedikermit's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To answer your question, there was one (minifigure scaled) tie advanced before the one you saw. It came in a tie fighter pack that was released back in...I'm going to say 2004. Yes, it is completely different. The main thing is the color difference, 04's was blue and black, 09's was black and grey. there are many differences, but the 09 version is WAY better. you should really get it, as it will not be around very much longer. hope that helped. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Pirate Pete replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As far as I have heard, the Minifigures will be available in most stores that Lego is sold in (I.e. ToysRus, Lego stores, Wal Mart, etc.). The first wave will be released some time in the beginning of June and the second wave will be in August. Hope that helped, Clone Commander Assassin. -

Filip, to answer your question: yes. As seen in a picture some pages back, they will be in yellow boxes about the size of an impulse set. I hope that helped. BTW, do we have any news on wave 2? -

Classic LEGO at school!
Pirate Pete replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Very recently, I was doing some errands for a 2nd grade teacher when I noticed that there was an unmarked bin on one of her shelves. Being the snoop I am, I decided to take a look. I found out that it was full of clasic lego bricks and minifigures. Because I had been in her class, I asked if I could stay just a bit longer to play. It kind of felt strange, you know, asking to stay longer to play. But it turned out that she liked Lego too, so we sat and played with Lego for about a half an hour. It was a very memorable time! -
Which would be your best MOC/MOD?
Pirate Pete replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My favorite MOCs that I made are "The Cubicle" and the "Power Miner's car". pics later Another favorite is everyone's favorite scam, "The claw machine" to minifig scale. (Again, pics later) (^_^) -

On the side of most 2010 boxes, it says,"ADVENTURERS! The first full-length Lego DVD!". has anyone thought that this could be the main character? -
Wait, If KimT saw a pic of the Slave 1, that means that pics might be circulated throughout the internet soon! Meaning that we could be seeing it soon! Yay!
