  2. Hello! I've had some stuff come up that I need some extra funds, and was looking to sell my rare mismolded smooth Leia hair. I'll be posting it on eBay soon, and will link to that, but for now I just wanted to see if there was at least an interest for it. Regards, PiratePete
  3. Id love to participate as a student, Ive done some stopmotion before, but they were pretty bad and I want to do more in the future... count me in!
  4. well, all the related products are modular buildings, so thats a good indicator of it being modular... using google translate, I found that it is expected to release 1/1/2012, so that is another indicator of a modular building, because why would TLG release a Christmas set after New Years... all this is merely speculation, so dont quote me on any of this, but I hope it was helpful
  5. My contribution is just a medium sized tree, but I dont have a pic, so just open the file to see it http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/speedracer/MOCs/tree.lxf
  6. I felt a little bit here in western PA, just a little bit, thank goodness.
  7. I was also at brickfair, and got some new molds and parts... I got the black ODST shock trooper pack: black armor, helmet, military shield, megagun, battle rifle, bayonett, and a trans dark blue phaser, and plasma ray; Captain America Super Hero pack: stars and stripes battle shield, and knight shield, two dark tan ammo pouches, blue soldier helm with "A" printing, army green grease gun, and tan bandolier; Dark tan (currently unreleased color for this) Space Marine pack: Dark tan helm, armor, and vambraces, bronze visor, sand green battle rifle and megagun, and trans green energy blade; lastly, music pack: orange electric guitar, black acoustic with tribal print, white violin with black accents, steel mic, and army green drum sticks... gosh I just love brickforge, all this cost me around 30 USD, and thats all I brought. I would definitely suggest brickforge to anyone who wants to customize some minifigs, but doesnt want to do all the dirty work themselves.
  8. Well what minifigs are they, but they should loosen up over time, just work at them a little and you should be fine
  9. Wow, that van looks amazing, anyone have any idea on pricing?
  10. Well, TLC is definitely going for the Batman:The Brave and the Bold look for the Joker action figure, I actually kind of like it... it looks demented and hystarical like the Joker should be. Im not going to buy it though, rather save my money for the system sets when they come out, the minifigures look great so far, and I cant wait to see the finalized Marvel ones

    Portal!

thanks for mentioning the design that I stole , and the button that I did design . good job, though. I might have to try to put POTaTOS on the gun in the method that you put that thing on the gun
  12. oh yeah! I forgot about that one! classic!
  13. I would be the MOC builder... isn't that kind of obvious? And where I'm from, there aren't many who build with Lego.
  14. Scratch that, next project is GLaDOS!
  15. So did I, but I just decided to go for it. most of the pieces came from the City train station set with the catwalk across the tracks, that's where I got the X-Beam pieces, the rest is from random sets. My next project from Portal 2 is Chell's longterm relaxation room.
  16. Thanks, Clone O'Patra
  17. Okay, so if this was in the game, it would be early on, so I guess it wouldn't be totally torture... you know, other than being held in a strange science laboratory underground against your will...
  18. Greetings everybody! I guess this is kind of my first MOC here on eurobricks, but I hope you like it. Let's Begin! If you've played either of the Portal games by Valve, you know that these "test chambers" are the main areas. I've been playing Portal 2 lately and decided to take my shot at making one of GLaDOS's torture devices. http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ this is the test chamber: a tower, two doors, a turret, a box, and a button. simple as that... http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ here is Chell complete with a portal gun that someone else designed, but I forget who http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ A turret (behind a cage to make things difficult) and a weighted storage cube http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ The end of the level... poor broken panel. http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ The turret, I'm especially proud of this piece because it's simple yet effective, just the way I like it! http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ With this Arial view, I leave you... hope you enjoyed it and I hope to make more like this. Thanks for looking! Could a mod deeplink the Images please?
  19. thanks, I've kind of felt guilty about being around for so long and barely posting anything.
  20. So, I'm not really a new member around this part of town, but I've been sort of a lurker. I haven't posted anything in... wow, um.... a long time, OK. So, I think it's time to formally introduce myself... Hi, I'm Pirate Pete. Pleasure to meet you all! over the next few months, I will try to post some things I've been working on for a project of mine.
  21. I just got the dragon set and I can honestly say that I love everything about it. the shurekiens are great, the dragon is very cool. I just wish that the skeleton came with some armor.
  22. I have a strong inclination that Fenrir Grayback is going to have his headpiece replaced by alot of people.
  23. the quality is about the same as a Collectible Minifigure. It has the indent on the arm and slightly weaker legs, but other than that, it's fine!
  24. Answer The Call - Save Imagination! Set name: Lego Universe Set Number:none Theme:Video Games Year:2010 Now let's get started! (sorry about the blurry pictures, I had to use my phone) ----------------------------------------------------- You already saw the main part of the box art, but here is the entire box, front and back here is the CD, same art as the box. This is the "Mission Briefing". Pretty much it says thanks for preording! I just wanted to show you this cool artwork of the LU astronaut This card also came with the package. I wonder what it could be? Oh Yeah! It is the card for the unlockable outfit in LU! Now for what you all have been waiting for! The minifigure! He comes in a polybag not meant for children under the age of 6. the contents... and built sporting the Nexus Force logo on his shirt. Yes, that is the "City Smile with Eyebrows" face. not like on the bag. In conclusion, I think it was a good choice to preorder, but if you didn't...well, than you didn't. And I leave you with how I will proudly display the LU minifig next to my Special Minifigs. Time to go load the game!
  25. This is the only place that I got one from. hope that helped. Caio
