  1. It's still Batman month, right? After seeing two SW vigs by bwu on "Blocklog", I came up with a Micro-Batmobile, which uses a minifig head (similar to the old "Superdeformed" model kits). Here is the Gallery (when modded). But if you can't wait, use these deeplinks: 01.jpg (filenames: 01 - 06)
  2. Yeah, I don't think Phes was saying he thought you claim this creation is your own when it isn't, but since you never said anything like, "I built this..." he wasn't sure if you built it or not. I see now how I misunderstood Mister Phes comment - my apology. Thanks, Sir Dillon and Norro setting me straight. :-$ I typically post my own MOCs, not others'. Indeed, I was asked to join in as a LEGO blog writer recently, but due to a lack of free time, I'd rather be building a MOC than posting BS finds. I'll be making more Ninja MOCs one day. Count on it!
  3. I can't believe it... you caught me! >:-( This MOC actually belongs to builder "Y-Bros-K", who I found to be "Sir Nelson" in the C-C forums. Since he has the same building style as me, as well as the same LEGO collection, and physical body, I decided to use his computer to take his Ninja tree images off of Brickshelf and post them here. *wacko* *wacko* *wacko* I'm not certain why you would make such a comment, Mister Phes, but I will pardon you. And to the rest of you, I will go ahead and make a post on my older MOCs in the "Your Own Creations" area. Stay tuned...
  4. Announcing... The Second Annual Joe Vig Contest! > You will find all the contest information here. <. This contest does not begin until June 1st, 2006, so please don't post your entries before then. (The curators of .vignette are just giving everyone a few extra days to think up some ideas for your 'Joe Vig' vignettes!) Please read and review the contest rules carefully. We hope to see some entries from the Eurobrick community! Good luck!
  5. In honor of Batman month, I have whipped up these 3 Batman vignettes... which I am premiering right here on Eurobricks! The Sentinel Warehouse Fight and... KnightMare Please feel free to move this thread if needed. Enjoy, fellow Batfans! "Bat Daddy" Nelson
  6. An old tree near the river serves as a secret training ground for this Ninja clan. The Masters gather to train their forces at this Ninja Training Camp Ninjas Unite! :-)
  7. That's OK, Bruce... I'll vouch for ya'. :-P Thanks for the update on C-C!
  8. Joe Vig is proud to be an Olympic torch bearer in this year
  9. Woo Hoo!!! I placed! :) Congratulations to the other winners! Personally. I do like the Cyclops' face, although I think Languages' Chimera was the real winner! Thanks to SuvieD for sponsoring this contest, and to the other judges!!
  10. Here is my Monster Contest entry..... (Once Moderated) THE OGRE !!! This was my first build for this contest, but since the categories have changed (and since I don't have the time) :| this is my only entry (formerly for the "Mega Monster" category). Enjoy!
  11. Hello! (I am new here, too!) :-D Jinzo Ningen, eh? That's quite a name! (Jiro: Change...Switch On... 1....2....3!) The End!! (Glass breaking) (Although for the record, Hakaida was way more cool!) Welcome to EB!!
  12. I guess this post should go here. :) Link to images (when moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=149580 Here's a taste...
  13. Thanks for the welcome everyone!! Yep. :$ They are coming soon! :) Okay, you asked for it.... :oD Late one night on a classic-castle.com chat, myself and several others came up with an idea to make a simple minifig: We were going to each build this fig (named "Joe Food") and photograph him at various local eateries/restaurants and post the photos on the internet to show how the fig really got around... Well, one thing led to another, and Joe became the idea for a character to use in vignette MOCS on LUGNET. The name was changed from Joe Food to Joe Vig, with no intentional references (or slights) to the new LEGO company CEO, Jorgen Vig. That's pretty much it in a nutshell. We just wanted to make a relatively easy-to-build minifig, and use him as an ongoing subject of the ever-popular vignette MOCs. :-D Everything on Joe Vig can be found here: The Joe Vig page
  14. Hello, everyone! My name is "Big Daddy" Nelson, and I am a new member of the forums. I am a regular at CC.com and at LUGNET (where I am the curator for the .vignette and .underground newsgroups.) I am also one of the creators of the infamous "Joe Vig". :) I have frequented Eurobricks many times in the past, and have found the information here (particularly of upcoming sets) to be invaluable! Thank you! My Gallery (on Brickshelf).
