Aye, the seas are big enough for both vessels. We hope to see you there.

The studless vacuum of space, of course. *wacko* SPACE!I agree with the children here: Boo on the stickers. In fact, I demand that all my minifigs from the late 1970's sets that came with torso stickers to be exchanged for free with printed torsos. And, NOT just regular printed torsos for me, either... I want them to be made with Squid ink, 24k gold, and fleebnork droppings. Make sure that happens by yesterday, okay? *skull* me.

I am curious... The SAH offer specifically states "while supplies last". My last SAH order did NOT confirm that an ice-cube tray would be included, as did my previous order, made the week before. Perhaps they ran out? (Please reply here or PM me. Thanks.) Personally, I like the Ice Cube tray. :-| I agree that it is something that TLG should NOT be focusing on, but since these have been manufactured already, what the heck... get one while they are available. ;-)

Thanks for posting this Maedhros. A 4+ ship? 8-( I don't recall saying anywhere that this was a "Pirate" ship either. >8-) Damn straight! :-P But there is treasure in this wreck... you just have to find it.

I came up with an idea for a little container, using the large (Jack Stone) trans-clear panel piece - it's called a MOCBox, and here are a few: The MOCBox is very easy to make, and is also quite versatile. It can be made to stand on its own, lean like a picture frame, or even hang on a wall. By varying the orientation and depth of the MOCBox, you can create your own design, and decorate it to your liking. In these examples, I have made micro-scenes, artwork, and vignettes as MOCBoxes, even decorating the exteriors on a few. The last one also shows how you can combine MOCBoxes to form a larger one, much like a vignette. It's a very cool way to display your minifigs, rare parts, etc. (Maybe one of you can use the technique to make a nice jewelry box for someone you luv!) *wub* I also used the same large panel piece to make this small Aquarium: Anyway, I hope these will inspire you to give it a try. Enjoy!

I agree... that does look very cool!! *y*

I made this after monkeying around with some of my Exo-Force parts: Exo-Apes It's an interesting technique. I also used here: Exo-Scorpion Enjoy!

Yes on "FRS". :-) As far as I know, "floating rocks" can span any theme. The concept is simple: rocks that float - and, nearly anything can be built upon one. Personally, I've categorized this as "Fantasy", based on the improbability of such things existing. *wacko* Not really. As a vessel, this asymmetrical ship was built on a floating rock, and the sail and air-rudder were designed to make it travel (instead of just float) in the skies. The rock makes for a good ram, and the sky-barnacles were an afterthought. The red flag, of course, means business. *pirate*

FR = Floating Rock ;-) I've always been a LEGO Pirates fan *pirate*, although I've never posted any pirate MOCs in my gallery other than vignettes. More MOCs to come later. Right now, the FR's keep calling... :-)

15d Presenting the Floating Rock Ship (FRS) Marauder... This is the latest in my FR series. Here, Captain Cirrus and his crew have taken a sail to a floating rock, and have made it the "Scourge of the Skies". Luckily, this ship is covered with Sky-Barnacles, but the power of the Air-Rudder makes this vessel fast, and very formidable. Beware the Red flag!

Sorry so late. Since I don't own any 'Forestmen or Dark Forest' sets (due to my 'Dark Ages') my goal was to make a MOC that was more of an advanced set in the progression of the series. I did not try to follow the exact colours/style of the old series (e.g.: DF uses the brown trees), and sought a more 'organic' and realistic look to the fortress - where the old growth trees were carved/built upon and around, to achieve a solid stronghold. Thanks for the comments!!

GRAVE STONE: Return of the Ghost Rider

Nice MOC! My favorite part is the "Skeleton in the outhouse". Did he die while being scared? Brown logs, indeed! :'-( -
GHOST TOWN emerges from the darkness !!!
BigDaddy replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Getting back to the MOC... I really like the playability in the design! And, of course, your graphics make it look like an official set. *y* Great subtheme, too! -
Yes. I took a slice from a Dark Forest's packaging and made my own. *pirate* Of course, your background making skills are far better, BrickMiner!
-
Indeed! You would never think that it is made of Green Gears !!

Thanks for the comments! :-) I got it from BrickLink! ;-)

(Click image for gallery.) Story: Deep in the forest lies Wyldewood, the Lair of the Forest Knight. Today the Red Wizard arrives for a meeting. The trusted assistants of the Forest Knight stand guard and perform various duties... It's been awhile since I made a Castle MOC. :-)

Nice MOC, *yoda* ! I can't believe he's gone now. (RIP, Steve.) And, BTW, Manta rays don't have stingers.... like 'sting'-rays do. :-)
-
Not sure if I'll be able to enter, but I've made my own Super-Hero image in my signature to advertize the contest... an obscure Hero (like me)... Iron Fist! Enjoy!

A tricky build... Q*Bert Enjoy! 8)

New updated Custom figs spiderman & thundercats

Very nice! I like the black Spidey and the Scarlet Spider the best! -
The final game was overhyped (as is usually the case). IMHO, France has nothing to be ashamed about - They played a tough schedule (more difficult than Italy); ousted the former champion team, Brazil; and had a number of older players on their team. As far as the Zidane incident, he certainly deserved to be ejected, but controversy is now brewing over whether or not the video of the incident is what led to the red card. Hopefully, we should be hearing a lot more about Materazzi's words to Zizou soon (... and those words must have been >:-) ). Football is a team effort, and should not rely on the actions of just one man. France just seemed to have lost their breath with the loss of their captain. (Barthez did not fare well in the PKs; and this was probably somehow directly related to Zidane's absence.) Still, they did play well enough to get into the final game, and Zidane did help them get there... again, as before. Germany vs. Portugal... now THAT was a great game! Go Germany! :-) Go France! :-) Go USA! 8-
