Well when I can't decide, I find a coin helps, I also know the kmart my sister went to only had 2 MVR no pearls, and no castle, so with the clearance you better pick soon.

After sending my sister out to get me MVR for $69 at Kmart, I know what I hope for, INFO, how come kingdoms do not show piece count or even the name of the set?, PotC and SW have their name on them but my kings castle and mvr do not.

The PotC section several people claim they got their info from reps, and one or two seem to be reliable. If you cant decide maybe get the mill village raid, I got one for $69.

Perhaps I can help, for my bday 2 weeks ago I bought myself the pearl and my sister got me the castle. The pearl looks fabulous and is a nice set, with some nice figures, but it is not something you can play with really, and worst of all (for me) is it has 6 ports but only a miserable 2 cannons. The castle is a nice set and impressive when built, it is my first castle set in almost 2 decades and a fitting one to have, it looks nice, has lots of playability if that is your thing, the figures are nice especially the king on his horse. If you can I would say get both, if you can not then get the castle, while it suffers heavily from repeat builds, it is a more fun set and nicer build. If figures play a big part, then go with the castle, there are rumours potc will end soon with the release of the dutchman which is bound to have Davy and Jack, more than likely Maccus as well. Which if true then you might want the pearl so as to have it side by side with the dutchman. Yeah I probably didn't help did I.

Castle is fine by me, kingdoms is nice but as long as it is not stupid skeleton stuff I will be happy.

Yeah but isn't that one a fan made one, in which case lego will not release one as good, I mean 8 ports would mean 16 cannons without the long guns, as if lego would make one like that given the pearl has 6 ports and 2 cannons.

What? are you high, the dutchman was the best ship around its bad megablocks, of course its not a pretty ship its a bad megablocks ship for bad guus, not a girly ship like QAR.

I would also like to point out S@H AU has the kings joust listed as a release date of 26.12.11 so its still there for us

Maybe not, they could have the dutchman with Davy and then more of his cast, and some of the English, then again like this years Bounty Hunter set which had Aurra Sing who has never been with that ship, maybe lego will put mermaids in it.

Batman scared of bats and fighting Ninjas, face palm, only thing stupider was devastator balls. I thought batman would be made up stuff to coincide with the new lego game which is made up like the first one. When do we get ironman.

That makes no sense, HP is sci fi fantasy, kingdoms is medieval, its like saying star wars was marketed along side pirates.

Your kidding right, despite the fact 4 sucked it made allot of money and I promise you devil I mean disney are not done sucking that franchise dry, the only question is if Depp will be in it. Although you have a point, 2012 star wars set rumours have been around for like 3 months confirmed for at least a month, there are pictures of new city sets, unless they only doing one wave per year.
