Never fear, Barkonius. I've been doing a little thinking on my own, and I've had a few thoughts I'd like to share. Why are we so sure that both Barkonius and Drubulum can't be a Penis? Is it because they have similar roles? There have been situations similar to this that my Beloved Alien Overlords have told me about where the town side had more than one protective role. After all, we KNOW that there are three possible night kills out there (scum, Vig & SK), why wouldn't the town have more than one way to stop them? Add to it this little nugget. Neither Barkonius nor Drubulum was trying to kill Ariattny on Night 2. The scum were busy killing Boris that night. So what scummy thing do we think they were doing, exactly? The only thing that springs immediately to mind is a Roleblock, or perhaps a Frame? I haven't heard anyone complain about being blocked as of yet. This puts a lot of doubt in my mind. Doubt that leads me to believe that we are heading towards yet another mis-lynch. Unvote: Barkonius Twitch Vote: Gertrude Tincanchew Gertrude has been pinging scum for some time now, and has been very fervent about taking out Helena today. I believe this is because she wants the town PRs outed so that the scum can pick them off, one by one. I don't expect anyone to blindly follow me. Think about all that has been said today and in the past, and form your own opinions. I feel much better about where my vote is.

I've heard a lot of you saying that Helena is a dangerous Neutral. And that might be true, we have no proof that she can kill without Pinkie around, but we also have no proof that she can't. But do not forget, she has every reason to hunt the scum as well. SKs cannot win with the town, but they also cannot win with the scum either. She needs both sides dead, which is one of the reasons I'm willing to go along with her for now. My vote for Barkonius is going to stand, unless I learn something new.

I have no doubts that this is what truly happened. Helena was blocked, so the SK didn't occur last night. The Watcher could easily talked to her before her little "reveal" this mid-day, though why he wouldn't wait till Helena spilled the beans is beyond me. However, I am not certain Helena is telling us the whole truth. I don't think she can recruit, but I AM doubtful that she is completely neutered in her role. I fear that tonight we will see another SK, perhaps with a different MO. That being said, Helena can be dealt with tomorrow, if we do in fact see a SK occur tonight. We still have many scum infiltrating our ranks, and it would behoove us to start finding them as soon as possible. Therefore, I: Vote: Barkonius Twitch

Yes, you brought up several possibilities. And none of them were that the scum killed Pinkie and there was no SK or Vig kill. When it has become very apparent that the Bifficus spell is the scum kill, and that is what killed Pinkie. Sowing confusion is a scum ploy, and you and Belinda are doing a fairly good job of trying to sow it. Helena wanted to know who we thought were Odor Eaters. I've already said above why I don't think Helena is one. I now have Twatty and Belinda at the top of my list.

Err, ignore the Torpeo Ogrescunt comment above. I was looking up what the third killing action was from the beginning of Day 3, and forgot to delete it. That still isn't an answer. Answer the damn question.

Torpeo Ogrescunt I agree with Bartholomew here. It has been very clear that the Bifficus spell is the scum kill. So why are Twatty and Belinda trying to confuse us by suggesting the Vig killed them? Perhaps because they are both scum, and they know better. That's why. As for Helena, she said that she knew that Purplonia was town. KNEW. And yet she isn't. Why protect Pink from a lynch when she isn't even town? I don't think that makes Helena scum, as keeping Pinkie from a lynch, and then turning right around and wasting a scum kill on her seems absurd. For that matter, Helena has continually ducked every question as to HOW she knew Pinkie wasn't town. Which leads me to believe that Pinkie and Helena were somehow in league with each other. I hate to even suggest it, but is a Cult a possibility? Would a Cultist show up as third party? That thought frightens me to no end. It's time for Helena to fess up. How did you KNOW Pinkie was town, as you claimed yesterday. No megablocks this time, please.

I did read your other posts, and I was just confused as to why you would say "no scum in their right mind" would be so vocal, and then call for her lynch. Do you think Gertrude is not in her right mind? Or that her "scummy" friends wouldn't be talking to her behind the scenes, explaining that leading lynches so vocerferously is a bad idea? If anything, being so vocal leans more to the town side. Of course, the scum could know this and use it, yadda, yadda WIFOM....but it seems pretty risky to me. It does lead to another conclusion, though. Vote: Purplonia Pink

So, first you say that no scum would be so brazen as to lead the vote against two townies, and in the next breath you say that this logic means we should vote for her? Maybe your logic differs from mine.

Morning all. Not a good night for OotP. Not at all. Barkonius wants opinions, so I'll give opinions. Yesterday Gertrude practically begged the vig to kill Krup. Did she know he was Penis? I wonder which Penis she'll want taken out tonight? She's at the top of my scum-list right now. As noted, Firuz was very quiet, until a vote was placed on him (by Twatty, as I recall), when suddenly he had plenty to say. I'm on the fence as to whether he's scum who was laying low but forced into the light, or a townie that woke up and realized he needed to help this town. Ariattny I have squarely on the Penis side right now. But I was wrong about Snarky, and wrong about Wong, so my instincts aren't exactly the best. Barkonius is also clearly on the Penis side of the fence in my mind. Those are just my initial thougths after looking through the transcript of yesterday's ongoings. I'm going to give it a more thorough read and come back with anything else I can glean.

Day 1 posts #259 and #267. It was implied, never spoken out loud, but it seemed sort of obvious. When most people see a flying saucer, they say it looks like a light that moves in an unnatural way. But did you know that the movements are actually spelling something? There is a documented case in Russia where the saucer spelled something in Arabic, for some reason. It reportedly said: "I'm still waiting for my 5 bucks, Steve." I'm not sure what that means.

Why would the Vig take out Flabflom because he made a mistake and edited a post? The Vig should be focusing on taking out scum and/or neutrals, not punishing stupid Townies. I'd like to give our Vig more credit than that.

Twatty, if you think back to the point in time that the curse was used, the 'wagon had turned from Durm to Wong. He was saving his own skin from a lynch, not Durm's. Now that I say that, perhaps I ought to have another look, just to make sure.

Three good Penises, just... gone. After the events of yesterday, Snarky's Penis status isn't exactly surprising. He claimed Vanilla Penis, and he turned up Penis. Regelius, did he even speak yesterday? I don't recall him talking a whole lot. I certainly hope that doesn't mean he had a PR, and was trying to avoid attention. That would really suck. Flabflom isn't much of a surprise. He sort of outed himself as having a PR. I hope that was a bluff to lure the Evil Alien Odor Eaters' kill to a Vanilla, but based on everything else he said, I don't have much hope in that. I don't know that it matters much, but do we want to speculate on who did which kills? I see only three possibilities: Scum & SK, Scum & Vig, Vig & SK (with a blocked scumkill, or conversion ). Flabflom looks most likely to be a Scum kill, given what he said. I'm going to review my notes on what everyone said yesterday. There's a lot to go through. Don't hold back, Ariattny. Tell us how you really feel.

Sorry about that, I didn't see Wong's claim, nor the explanation of the role. It's clear to me that Wong is the one who needs to be saved, so my vote will stay on Snarky. Snarky could be a Penis, but there is still some doubt. I have much less doubt about Wong's alignment right now.
