  1. Drubulum was one of the vocal supporters of not lynching Helena on Day 4 and it doesn't seem likely that we would have two PRs that can protect every single night. Therefore: Vote: Drubulum Panck
  2. No, I'm not a JOAT. It was a one-shot and I haven't been given anything else since. I'm vanilla townie now.
  3. I was the one with the one-shot protection spell. Belinda had told me there were three bodyguard claims in a PM to me. I pointed out to her at that time that mine was just a one-shot and a not a bodyguard action. My vote was originally with Helena because she was the known threat. Belinda asked me to change my vote to help the town. I asked her if she was confident that voting for Barkonius was the right thing to do. She came back and said she was. I felt I could trust Belinda and therefore changed my vote, believing it was the right thing to do to help town.
  4. I've been holding off on changing my vote because I wasn't confident on the vote for Barkonius, but I now I believe the best way to help town is to: Unvote: Helena Hippopaw Vote: Barkonius Twitch I was willing to call Helena's bluff earlier on today, but we can deal with her overnight. We can't afford to have the PRs outed to the scum.
  5. I wasn't referring to you. I was reminding everyone that conversion is a possibility, as in you trying to convert someone. An hour out from the end of the day you will have nothing to gain by revealing the PR roles, other than being a vengeful bitch. Do it earlier and you'll guarantee everyone votes for you. I'm willing to call your bluff. Vote: Helena Hippopaw
  6. Why should we believe you on this? You've openly lied and manipulated to stay alive this far. Or are you just buying time to recruit another partner?
  7. This is not good enough. You need to explain what happened with Purplonia. Do you mean last night, as in Night 3? How do you know she was blocked?
  8. Only one kill overnight and not OotP is great news for a change. But Helena was pretty adamant yesterday that Purplonia was town and Godric was scum. Helena, can you shed some more light on this?
  9. Thanks for finally providing your analysis, Godric, but I don't think you're off the hook yet. You gave us lots of reasons to believe you were scum yesterday. I won't go over old ground or what others have said about you today, other than to point out this post, which I found particularly scummy: This was wrong on several fronts: that the role was not one-shot, that he could be town, scum or neutral (after you'd already voted for him) and that voting is the only way to test his allegiance is to vote for him. Today you expect us to believe you are a Penis? You have given us your analysis, as you said you would. I agree with some of your reads, but definitely not this one: To me, Helena seems very much a Penis. And the strongest town read I have on anyone. Going after her just reinforces your scumminess. Therefore: Vote: Godric Goaty-Blather I would like to know why you think I'm acting off. It seemed more absurd than funny yesterday, but looking back at it now and putting it the way you did, I can see the funny side. I went back over Catalina's posts and couldn't find anything she said that would make her a target. The only thing that I could conclude was that there was maybe something said between her and either P1 or P2 (or both) that would place them at risk because they knew Wong was town? This implies that maybe P1 or P2 is the serial killer. Not saying one of them definitely is, but without any knowledge of what went on behind the scene, this is the only thing that came to mind. On Dilllpickle's lie, I think he was just confused in that particular instance. Don't take that as a vote of confidence for him. I find his posts extremely frustrating and I can't get a read on him. Sometimes I think he makes sense, other times I think he is confusing us but hiding it behind his role-playing. I'd really like a plain english translation on his posts.
  10. A good place to start might be to offer up your own views instead of asking everyone else to put forward theirs first. It seems strange to me that you feel the need to spell this out in such detail and it feels like you had it prepared, like you knew you would need it. However, I agree with the rest the rest of your post (the part I didn't snip), which makes me lean towards you being town. Belinda was missing for much of the day yesterday, with only two posts. The first one didn't come until voting was open and then she voted for Wong. She subsequent came back to oblige Helena and change her vote to Godric. Someone asked where she was yesterday, but she never responded. I would definitely like to hear more from Belinda. She is well and truly trying to fly under the radar. Timly also needs to contribute more. He hasn't flown under the radar as much as Belinda, but there haven't been a lot of helpful contributions from him. Orion also did not make a lot of posts yesterday, but what he said and how he said it makes me inclined to believe he is a penis. I am not scum and I am not trying to lay low. Catalina sowed plenty of seeds of doubt about me yesterday, mentioning my name in all but a couple of posts. I don't know why she was pursuing me, but the main accusations against me were that I only responded when asked a question. I responded to her about that, but it did not seem good enough for her. I posted about my suspicions about Wong, Godric and Durmudgelous. I was wrong on at least two of those three. I want to find the scum as much as the next person, but I am going to be more cautious with my analysis today because I don't want to see anymore penises lynched. I don't understand why you would still think that Wong could have been neutral. It doesn't make any sense at all for a nuetral to be given a gladiator action. You did change your behaviour a little towards the end of yesterday, but you are still on my radar.
  11. I'll skip the lame reaction of sadness. I noticed that one of the kills used the same spell as yesterday - Flabflom was killed with the Bifficus Stifficus spell yesterday and so was Boris today. Durmudgelous was killed by the Torpeo Obrigescunt spell. This suggests Boris was another scum kill and our vig did listen to the calls for him/her to take out Durmudgelous. Leaving Catalina as the victim of the SK.
  12. I was leaning towards Wong being scum earlier and haven't seen anything from him to convince me he's town, so: Vote: Wong Wang I would have liked to hear from Durmudgelous and Godric before casting this vote, but its getting closer to the end of the day.
  13. So Durmudgelous has come by briefly without answering anything, instead choosing to try and steer us towards someone else. This post is not consistent with someone who is town. Why give up so easily if you are a townie with a power role? More importantly, why suggest that you have a power role? A good townie would defend himself to the end and not reveal a potential reason to the scum to target them. The above post came shortly before the spell was cast. I think he knew what was coming, because he and his scum-buddies had planned it together. Here he is suggesting to us that Wong is town: He's talking about Wong here, but not saying he's town, I think. It's a bit of a nonsensical post in my opinion. Gertrude has already made it clear how she felt about that part of Durmudgelous' last post. In her response she also suggested that Wong and Durmudgelous are both scum: I agree with her, but am also going to add Godric to this. We had this from Godric today: In this post, he claims to have spoken privately with Durmudgelous and concluded he's town. I've raised this one before, but I was focused on Godric voting for Wong despite thinking he is a "scared townie". This could be designed purely to keep his option open later to unvote Wong if needed. While Wong leads the vote tally by at least two votes, Godric's vote isn't going to be a deciding vote. Which reminds me, I'm still waiting on responses from: - Wong on what it was that Ariattny said that he found interesting - Godric on why he is voting for Wong despite thinking he's a scared townie (if my theory above is incorrect) - Orion about the PM(s) between him and Wong about the spell and claim by Wong I don't believe you are part of this and you didn't actually claim to know he is town, but I would like to understand what was said or done here, because the implication here is that you think he is town. I disagree - why give the scum this role if it's that unlikely that the scum would use it? Seems pointless.
  14. As I said before, I am leaning towards Wong being scum and this is based in part on my reasoning that scum have more incentive to use such a spell early on. I'm holding off on my vote because I'm not totally convinced of my own logic and there are others I want to hear from (including Durmudgelous and Godric). I'd like to understand why you think they wouldn't use it so quickly. I'm not sure what else I could have added to my response, since the only thing you accused me of was being quiet. There was also more in my post than just my response to you. Maybe I should post each question and contribution individually to up my post count?
  15. This sounds scummy. Why vote for someone who you think is town, when our aim is to outnumber the scum? I don't see how this is going to help us do that. Do you really believe someone would be given the ability to manipulate the vote everyday? You dropped off the radar yesterday, but this puts you firmly back on the list. What did Durmudgelous say to you in private to make you believe he is town? Paraphrased, of course. He's barely been around today and only made a couple of posts about last night's kills. He hasn't added anything to the discussion today to help us find the scum. This is the reason that I am leaning towards Wong being scum. It makes a lot more sense to me for scum to use this spell early on when we're all still confused about who's who and no-one trust anyone 100%. To hold off using it would be riskier the longer you wait One-line responses like this aren't helping his case either. On the other hand, Wong might be a selfish townie, who may have gotten some bad advice: Was this before or after he cast the spell? You're right that I haven't talked much, but I am very much here to find the scum. Can you elaborate on what Ariattny had said that you find interesting? I don't understand the purpose of this. As others have already pointed out, it's acceptable use of "they" in this context.
  16. The focus for me in the latter half of the day was Durmudgelous, Snarky and Wong. Neither Godric nor Flabflom did anything subsequent to ping my radar. The random vote for Sugarbottom was the reason Godric was on the list. He subsequently switched his vote to Durmudgelous. The rest of his posts yesterday didn't seem particularly scummy to me. Definitely blunt, but not necessarily scummy. Flabflom made a mistake early on, but he became more helpful later on by questioning people and seeking clarifications on statements that had been made. I was leaning towards Flabflom being town by the end of the day, which makes me agree that he was most likely scum killed. The ones I am paying attention to now are Durmudgelous and Wong. I thought Durmudgelous' first post of the day (suggesting Regelius was the one that was scum-killed) was odd and might be designed to confuse us. After what he pulled yesterday, I am still wary of believing anything he says. Further, I know we don't have all the facts, but the MO and the fact that Regelius was quiet yesterday both point to him being a SK (more likely) or vig (less likely) kill. The MO for Flabflom was magic and he was vocal and helpful towards the end of the day, making him a much more likely the OE kill. Wong, Wong, Wong. Ariattny's response to his first post of the day pretty much echoed my sentiments at that time. I also find his few posts since somewhat wishy-washy and unhelpful. For example, he said yesterday it was a waste of an action (post #304), but then responds vague when asked today about whether it was a one-shot action (post #34). I still haven't made up my mind whether he is OotP or OE. If he is one of us, he was being a pretty selfish dick using that spell on the first day to save his own butt. It also makes me wonder what else he will do to protect himself. If he's scum, it was a very risky move. It may have been a calculated move though, as his coming out yesterday (post 282) had me (and others) believing he was town. It was also his third post after the spell was cast. Was he waiting on initial reactions to see what the best way to respond was?
  17. This post was fairly early on and we didn't have much to work with yet. The players mentioned were those that were on my radar at that point in the day. I didn't mention Flabflom and Godric again because they dropped off the radar. I subsequently voted for Durmudgelous and provided my reasons for that. Wong had forced our hand and left us two people to chose from. I followed the subsequent conversations, but felt there wasn't much I could add at this point. There were others who responded similarly to how I did: Of these, Orion did post again a couple of times to talk about Wong and Snarky. However, Godric and Regelius didn't feel a need either to post again later in the day.
  18. Between the two, Snarky's behaviour has been more scummier and, despite his earlier behaviour, Wong's claim does feel like its genuine, so I'll: Vote: Snarky Snickerpuss
  19. Before I forget, Vote: Durmudgelous Krup Nothing has happened to convince me otherwise since my earlier attempt to cast a vote for you, but there are still plenty of muggle hours left in the day.
  20. If you had read the thread, you'd see that I previously stated the reason for why you should get my vote. The new coming clean added another reason. As for the typo, it would mean nothing in a normal game where we knew everyone's muggle names ... My vote will be fixed later.
  21. I'm having a hard time believing you. Will there be a subsequent post starting with, "OK, this is it. This is what really happened ..." And why are you calling Ariattny a 'he'? This just smells fishier and fishier! Vote: Durmudgelous Krup[\b]
  22. Voting for someone for role-playing seems off to me, given that we were encouraged to so in the very first post of the day: There are a few people who's "personality quirks" are giving me the shits already (case in point - Dillpickle's Shakespearean insult), but I don't think that necessarily makes them Odor Eaters. I also think that voting for someone's level of activity isn't particularly helpful. There have been plenty of posts that don't really contribute to us sniffing out those Odor Eaters. What someone is saying is more important than how often they speak. A wise man once said to me, "If you've got nothing useful to add, don't say anything". This leaves behavior, which is the best we can go on. At this stage, I'm inclined to vote for: - Godric: for his dumb reason for voting for Ariattny - Flabflom: because the OotP can't afford mistakes like that And Ariattny and Durmudgelous since one of them has been lying. Of those two, I'd put Durmudgelous ahead of Ariattny because I am wary of anyone sending out PMs at this stage of the game. How random were they really? There is still plenty of time left in the day, so I'm happy to hold off on my vote a little longer.
  23. I'd like to see it again, too. I didn't get a good look last time because Boris was blocking my view. You're saying no to the most handsome fox in Seks Ewe Alley? Your loss, kinda like when we first met Luke and we had to tie him up because he didn't want to be part of the feast.
