Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. I look forward to explanations, and I hope that we're not being forced to choose between two Penises. Quick thoughts: Snarky: Scummy reaction to my penalty, yet I would imagine that Odor Eaters would have been more subtle about it. Same can be said about his 'I don't care who is lynched' statement. I'm leaning towards a blunt Penis. ( ) Wong: He strikes me as more scummy than Snarky. He suggests voting for quiet people, for me, but waits for reactions before placing a vote. Basically he has the same ideas as Snarky but won't take the lead. Follows the crowd. Vote: Wong Wang Of course I am naturally wary of those who suggested to lynch me for making a mistake. This includes Snarky and Wong, but also a few others: Just thought I would mention it for future reference.

It really was nothing more than distraction and tiredness. I intended to add add to my statement, and hit edit by pure habit. I can't provide more details about this without discussing 'real life' and perhaps giving clues to my identity, but I was simply not thinking straight when I made that mistake. I will of course do everything to avoid such a noobie mistake again. As much as adding to the Durm vote would be the easiest way for me to make sure that I'm not lynched on a stupid mistake, I'm not really confortable with this choice. Durm's behaviour has been difficult to analyse but I'm seeing him more as a flailing Penis caught in a confusing situation caused by overeagerness. Barkinius sums it up best for me: Drum's has been playing with fire and the payoff for Odor Eaters was unlike to be worth taking such risks, in my opinion. You come off as awfully confident about this lynch -- and yet, you seem to be ambivalent about Drum's allegiance. It seems like a leit-motiv today for some -- no matter what they are, let's lynch the easy targets. Why was it important that you let know Durm he gave away his identity?

True, but I find it odd that you focus on weak leads when more interesting discussion is ongoing. Also we're not about to run out of time so your concern sounded like you were trying to justify a hasty vote.

This is everything but true. There is still plenty of time left to discuss, and certainly no need to settle on half-baked theories. Because I have the most votes? Because of a mistake that doesn't even make it more likely that I am be a Penis Eater? Can you think of a better justification for this? Am I required to speak in questions? At this precise time when discussion finally seems to be going somewhere, your suggesting 'default' votes is certainly not very helpful. You and that guy voting for me whose name I have already forgotten are making a great team. (correction: doesn't even make it more likely that I am be a Penis Eater) See, I can do it properly!

I know the rule, what happened was a mistake. I think you are jumping on something that isn't indicative of my allegiance at all to cast your vote. This situation is not about finding the most competent Penis. Why don't you focus on finding someone scummy instead? Or maybe this explains it: Great attitude. Odor Eaters don't care who is lynched, as long as it's not them. Penises must care and can't lynch randomly. Why else would be bother discussing this stuff?

I don't think that he really had a choice! Trying to hide anything would have been weird. I wasn't sure that your conclusion was that since talkative persons are rarely Odor Eaters, they are likely hiding among the talkative persons now. I'm not convinced that the former is true, and even if it were the latter can't be taken for granted. But as I said before, I believe that discussing activity levels is rather counterproductive.

This is going nowhere! I'm sure there are all sorts of Odor Eaters and we can't really draw a conclusion from their activity. The only argument that can be made about activity is that a under-the-radar Penis member mislynch is slightly less damaging than that of an active Penis. But a mislynch is not what we're aiming for, so I'd rather focus on lynching someone for their suspicious behavior and not their activity level. This is all very annoying, sales are going down while nobody is looking after my shop.

Funny! But I doubt that Odor Eaters have any problem with starting a vote on a Penis today. It is very likely that the collective reaction tomorrow will be *shrug* "well, we had to choose someone", "there was no evidence" and "he did sound scummy". Aren't you just trying to preemptively justify your starting a vote on someone you know is a OotP member? This sounds likea lead. You could tell us their name, but preferably I would liketo hear an explanation of this peculiar behaviour. I'm sorry, I don't get your point... are you saying that the Odor Eaters might be hiding in the talkative group because Penises will probably avoid lynching one of those? And thsi is based on the historical precedent that rarely lynching a talkative person had nailed a scum? Oh you spoke while I was thinking... You do seem queer, but why does that make you an easier target for the Penis Odor Eaters? If anything, it's your overeager communication sytle that could put you in trouble, is that what you mean?
