I live near in Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax in Yorkshire.

Glad to see another Lego fan from the UK. Your ship sounds promising, but is it going to be minifig-scaled? And if so, who do you plan on crewing it with? I'm sorry if I seem nosy, I'm just really interested.

Are the two engine pieces R2 body style with holes in the side? Because they could come in handy for making black astromechs being repaired.

What was the last movie you watched?
Commander_Blitz replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Just rewatched ROTS. It's a good film, but I feel that Anakin is much better as a hero like in the new Clone Wars cartoon. To tell you the truth, he annoys me more than jar-jar. -
Is that a crab down in that corner? I love that piece! It's so cute!

Hello there! Nice to see another lego fan from the UK.

oops, didn't notice that...

Very nice! It looks just like the one on the show. Any chance of a custom Chi Cho to go with it? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Padawan I think you'll find it's padawan.

I've never really seen the attraction people have to hurtling round courses at hundreds, maybe thousands, of miles per hour.

The Penguin's SW Comic Story.
Commander_Blitz replied to The Penguin's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
It's a great story, but just one thing: why on earth have you made that jedi so evil? The jedi are defenders of peace and freedom! They don't blow up buildings like the CIS! -
The Penguin's SW Comic Story.

We don't mind, as long as your next section is up to your usual standard . By the way, are you planning on getting any of the new sets coming out later this year? It's just that I feel this comic would benefit from a little more action... -
How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?
Commander_Blitz replied to kill will's topic in Culture & Multimedia
How can you not like the new CIS general? He sounds so awesome when he says 'our blockade is impenetrable'. He's obviously some sort of tactical genius! Or a complete nutcase. But it does seem like he's going to mess up if they need to call in Tambor... -
Very nice. If I had the money, I would buy it but I'm saving up for the AT-OT.

Very nice! It looks just like a real set.

[Comic] Battlefields: Chapter One, Part One
Commander_Blitz replied to Bob's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Great comic! But just one tiny flaw, Grievous isn't the kind of cyborg to stand around and chat. he's a smashy-burny-sabrey kind of guy who would have torn through that base like it was butter. -
The anti-aircraft cannons that shoot down the gunships. It makes no sense against ground vehicles, but they need something to fight those walkers.
-
Some Ryloth sets like the new blue/grey mtt, a Trade federation control ship with the new leader guy, and a battle pack with Mace, two CW scout troopers on AT-RT's and a couple of droids with one of those cannons.
-
That's brilliant! By the way, I believe it's called a Freeco speeder...just so you know.

I thought I would have a hard time getting lego in Halifax once our woolies closed, but then I realised we had an Argos and an Argos extra that are currently pricing star wars sets much lower than they should be...silly me. No seriously, I picked up a Republic Gunship yesterday for £60, and Anakin's Starfighter today for £10(from Asda). There is a Toys R Us nearby, but it's just far enough away for me to not really care.

Besides Power Miners my favourite themes are Star wars, Batman, Agents and City. Unfortunately my lego collection consists only of some star wars sets, and all the power miners sets apart from the Crystal Sweeper.

Hi! I've been lurking on Eurobricks for a while now, and have posted in a couple of topics, and now I've decided to introduce myself! I despise people who misspell words and don't use grammar, and I never troll topics, so you don't need to worry about that. My name comes from the power miners set of the same name, which I am slightly regretting now as I've lost all interest in the line. In short, hi!

Favorite Adventure Subtheme
Commander_Blitz replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
What's with all the dino island hating? I love every one of the sets from Island Racer upwards, as the small sets are just crap, but that's not important. -
Sorry about his, but I've just been told that I can only have the sets for my birthday, I have a £40 limit, and I'm only allowed something from the adventurers dino island theme. Probably because my dad is a huge dino island fan but sold all his sets for a guitar. Anyway, here's the list of sets I'm considering: Island Racer - this one is definite, it's part of the deal Research Glider Dino Explorer Island Hopper T-Rex Transport Can anyone recommend a good combination of sets? Bearing in mind that the money I get for my birthday will go towards a dino research compound.

I recently discovered Bricklink, and instantly decided I needed something from the times when I bopught no lego at all. At the moment I am torn between: Adventurers Any combination of Island Racer/Dino Explorer/Research Glider/Island Hopper T-Rex Transport Rock Raiders Granite Grinder+Loader Dozer/Chrome Crusher Tunnel Transport Arctic Mobile Outpost+Arctic Expedition In case you're wondering, I know about these themes due to my re-discovery of my old Rock Raiders, Island 2 and Racers 2 games.
