Even though I don't like the other Pirate sets much, this one is beautiful! The detail is amazing, the colors look nice, and it's a must buy for me. I just have to come up with 180 bucks. It would look very nice on a mantle. Anyway excellent review as usual Svelte! You lucky Australian that can get awesome sets months ahead of time.

Some of the instructions are hard to see. Do you remember the different options to download the instructions? Maybe the other options will work better on your computer.

Lego.com has a customer service center where you can download the instructions. You can view it here. Just enter the set number and your good to go. I hope that helps.

No it's not discontinued. Where would you ever get such an idea? It was just released. Many have been ordered and TLG is sold out. It's a very popular set and I would expect it to be in stock soon or be available for back order. I hope that clears things up.

I'm thinking about heading over to my TRU to find some Atlantis sets. I'm wondering if TRU has the impulse sets available. Correct me if wrong, all of these sets been found; 8056, 8058, and 8060.

I personally won't mind because I don't have a Snowspeeder and really want one. It all depends if you already have a Snowspeeder or don't want one. I'd assume it'd come with a pilot. Zev Senesca would make the most sense. I don't know if he's confirmed in the BP though. With the Wampa, the cave, and Snowspeeder it should have a bigger price tag, thus including more figs.

Ras, did the Snowspeeder look as good as the one included in 7666? I hope TLG didn't cut back on it and screwed it up. I am absolutely thrilled about a Snowspeeder included in Wampa Attack. I wasn't able to get 7666 sadly.

TLG doesn't use that part anymore. It is a nice part. I really love the one wit a fleur de lys. I don't own one but how big is it? I can't tell from the pictures.

The Imperial set is just . The speeder doesn't look as good as I thought and the little trench thing look like crap. The only figure I kind of like is the Imperial Officer. The AT-AT pilot's helmet still looks awful. On the other hand the Rebel set is excellent. The Ice cutter is canon, the figures are pretty nice, not to mention the pilot. The chin strap and visor are superb. Too bad his helmet looks like Wedge's. It looks like we'll get Bren Derlin for a leader and two troopers. I'm not to sure about the arm and leg colors on the trooper though.

I do have two more things to add. 85 - Label - A label for 10019 Tantive IV reads: "Stickers add details" when in fact there are no stickers for the set and ot a 1X2 brick with grooves. 95 - Label - The Mos Eisley MOC has a mislabel. It reads: "Some aliens have heads sculpted from modeling clay" When in fact there are no custom heads. It's a Green Goblin head.
