I hate to drag up an old discussion, but having been subjected to that particular image on about 5 different occasions, I must say I've grown to like it. (Art style, not as arousing lol) But yeah, that's really only one guy from MoD. Ah great, now I feel obligated to talk about MoD now. What its become... I'd have to describe as an "elitist" forum, for anyone bomb enough to tolerate it. There's a reason I post there more than I do on BZP. It's fun. More or less a text MMO with bionicle overtones. Also sup Omi, why you gotta join before me?

The prices of canister sets are horrid. It's the reason I will probably never get another one (with my own money lol). Big sets, although expensive as well, at least give good MOC parts.

So I was in target today, and the Lego aisle was... well, it wasn't there. A couple of Star Wars sets and a power miners one, on top of a pile of unrelated crap. And I was kinda hoping to get Zesk :/

I may pick up some Power Miners on the basis that the Rock Raiders line was awesome. Anyone else find the concept of "power mining" a bit funny? Just imagine some rad dudes from the '90s drilling things and being really exited about it.

The canister sets really set themselves up for a downturn in 2006, adopting the Inika and Piraka builds as bases for almost every can set since. The trade-off in eradicating "clone sets" seems to be the loss of any and all new construction styles, with the exception of the '08 Makuta. That along with colorschemes that can't seem to decide whether they represent an element or a color or whatever else they categorize things by nowadays.

DW9 would be just fine, except for the fact that we already know how it ends. It seems like Greg is trying a bit too hard to stress the twistyness of the twist.
