Before there were any rumors of an Indy 4, how was the merchandise and marketing for Indiana Jones? Not good. Sure the movies were popular, but how often did you even see merch? You didn't. Indy 4 was what really brought the merchandise and marketing back from its grave, but with the 4th movie gone, that merchandise is slowly going away. Also the "5th movie" is not in production, it is just being discussed. That doesn't even confirm that there will be a 5th. -Omi

They could release the same exact castle, just switch the figures around, and people will still buy it. In fact I believe that did happen. :P -Omi

Plus since the Prince of Persia film will be the first in its series, there is always the potential of sequels which can lead to more sets. -Omi

Space ships, ray guns, and aliens is all the similarities you need. -Omi

Space is similar to Star Wars, and both lines coexist. I don't see how Indy can be any remotely close to PoP. -Omi

Just a reminder. If you haven't registered and/or paid, now would be a good time too, since the goodie bags are limited to the first 400 paid registrants, and there is already 296 paid (and the 104 can come very quickly). So if you want the goods, be quick. -Omi

Friday nights, the local lego store will hold a huge discount, and during the weekend a semi decent discount for attendees. Brickarms will be there. It is totally worth 50 bucks for 3 days of amazing Lego fun. And since you're 14, you will need to register with a parent/guardian or someone who is over 18. -Omi

Yes definately. And if you brought a Steampunk MOC, that would be great of you. :) Yeah it is really hard to get most things done that you wanna do. Really depends on where you're coming from. I am driving down from Massachusetts on Thursday and staying Thursday night, because if I came Friday, I would be bushed during setup. -Omi

A reminder to all. Just in case some haven't heard, Steampunk is making its way back into the Lego conventions. It was a huge hit at Brickfest 06, but since then the theme itself hasn't done much, and I wanted to change that. Brickfair Coordinator Todd Webb has granted me the position as Steampunk Coordinator. I would love to see amazing things from you guys if you are attending Brickfair. Brickfair will be held on August 21-23, with the expo being on the 22 and 23.
