Thats why you wait for an official translation during official release. -Omi

Much evidence? Only evidence is what a foreign site says. And when it comes to sites that like, translations can make it sound different and pretty vague. Not officially confirmed until it is -officially- confirmed universally, not what some czech site says. -Omi

Neither. I would rather spend money on a good set. -Omi

That only works with Captain Planet. Any other imitation is stupid. -Omi

Click for larger pic So I was going through my Lego bin, came across this torso, and since I just started using Brasso, an idea came to me, so I used it on this torso to get rid of excess details because I wanted to remake my original AC Cloud Strife. So a perfect oppurtunity nonetheless. Using Brickforge's new pauldron and a modified Lego skirt (from the Asajj Ventress fig), I was able to produce a better looking Cloud. Hair shall stay the same. Since his hair is more swept back than ridiculously spiky (like in the game). Anyways enough rambling. Enjoy. -Omi

Click for larger pic I know there is plenty of Gordon customs out there, so figured to add another to the world. Never really played the game myself, but because Brickforge made the red crowbar (which seems to be his signature weapon), I figured "why not" and made the fig. And instead of using the Exo Force torso, which seems to be the basic these days for him, I took an alternate route and used the Agents body armor instead. So with many Brasso scrubbings and F-bombs later, I managed to make the Agents vest a plain vest. So enjoy. -Omi

Oops quoted wrong line. Meant this one: "In 2009 the BIONICLE universe will return on the screen. A contract with the American animation company Tinseltown Toons was signed in the autumn of 2007 and will result in three films during the years 2009 to 2011." Because they are on the subject of Bionicle, they aren't talking about any other theme. And also just FYI, you can produce something now that comes out later. Thats what Producers do. -Omi

How dunno how this can't be specific enough: "So far, three films about the BIONICLE figures have been produced." -Omi
-
Thanks. I try to stick to details as much as possible. :) -Omi

NELUG has been discussing it since summer and will be helping out with the event in moc display and stuff. Maybe more. It is a family event geared towards kids, but that shouldn't stop you from attending. -Omi

Contracts change. Though I never knew there was a contract in existence. -Omi

QUESTION: How to make a good Mando helmet?
Omicron replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Arealight is closed for the time being, not permanent. This could be for personal issues or simply restocking. Nothing should stop Brickforge, but I'm assuming that Star Wars isn't their route to take since there are several cuztomizers out there that make SW stuff. -Omi -
Click image for larger pic. So Halloween is right around the corner, and I wanted to make a fig just for the sake of it. So what better than Simon Belmont from the Castlevania series? Simon Belmont is one of the most prominent characters of the Castlevania series, in which he fulfills the Belmont Legacy to defeat Dracula with the famous Vampire Killer whip. Based the fig on his artwork from Simon's Quest. Hair is BrickTW and armor is Brickforge. Enjoy. -Omi

Coincidence? When it comes to games like that, what do you expect with names? -Omi

I wouldn't want that, but nice to know people think "highly" of their fave company when they wish it would do poorly next year. And in these times, if that happens, next year could be their last year, and you would be out of the job. :P -Omi

I didn't miss it. I just stopped before that. Also Bionicle is Technic, they just don't advertise it as such anymore. Yes. Lego is Lego. Of course then again, Lego didn't start off as plastic building bricks, so using your logic, those aren't true Lego either. Well duh, of course it is. Sets today aren't like sets 10 years ago. And those sets 10 years ago are nothing like sets 20 years prior. Lego is keeping with the times and trying new things. If they didn't try new things, they would just go out of business very easily. -Omi

Gonna stop you right there. con⋅struct –verb (used with object) 1. to build or form by putting together parts; frame; devise. 2. Geometry. to draw (a figure) fulfilling certain given conditions. –noun 3. something constructed. 4. an image, idea, or theory, esp. a complex one formed from a number of simpler elements. What exactly do you do with Bionicle, Ben 10, and by extent Galidor? You build them. They qualify as Lego because that is what Lego intended them for, to be built into many things. You are just looking at it through black & white. -Omi
-
What exactly is real Lego? :P Is it those wooden cars and trucks? :P -Omi
-
Exactly. I think what most people are forgetting is that Lego is just like every other company in the world, and making money is key. And like companies, they will have to make new ways of approaching different demographics and also make a quick buck. -Omi

Just because he can't say anything about it doesn't mean anything. Most of the time when people say "can't say anything" means they really have nothing to comment or cannot divulge any information. We already been through this already in this topic when it comes to "can't discuss it" comments by officials. Proves nothing. -Omi
-
I like them. -Omi
-
Proves...... what? -Omi
-
Then they would be hypocrites, since they been hammering down on clone bricks and bootlegs. -Omi

Yeah I thought the same thing for the Slaughter Broadsword making a good Buster Sword for Cloud Strife, but too long and width is too thin, but good way for improvision if someone cannot customize parts. :) -Omi
