  1. That picture looks so similar to the Lego Star Wars video games it wouldn't be a surprise if it was just a screenshot. If your saying that the quality is too high, then look at the PS3, it has graphics so surprisingsly high. And if it wasn't like that, then it isn't like the other pictures too, so it is confusing. Sorry about the Power Miners set outburst, it did look like Bly's headpiece or the one like it just in different colours. EDIT: If the ARC-170 had its front end rounded and more like a real plane (or starship) then it would be much better. The pilots are cool, and it if the heads are double-sided then bonus!
  2. click here if the pic doesn't show up! I was looking at the new pictures of Flicker and this popped up. I hate to get this excited and happy but this is amazing! A new bly style clone head piece. Check it out for yourselves. It appears in a new Power Miners set! See for yoursleves!!! I think it really is a new piece. Anyway I think it is, maybe it isn't but it doesn't have the antennae of the original version of it.
  3. Good idea but I think the ball should have been blu tack instead of a control stick.
  4. I just want a good set that is relatively cheap in the price/parts ratio. Just like the Republic Gunship as it was an awesome set and still is. The AT-AT and Clone Turbo Tank are prime picks for greatness!!!
  5. Cool another AT-AT, yet the cost (I know, a mini-rant) could be a bit much. Thinking back to the Venator...
  6. Cool, more people who like this. The force pike was created by the idea of the regular pike but long enough to reach enemies when on a speeder bike. Should I keep making topics like this, in due time when I make more MODs? A chinook is the helicopter I was thinking about when building the grappling line. The idea of minifigures dropping down the line from the back was what fueled my idea too. See, my inspiration . Looks just like the gunship too. A picture in the link shows a chinook, used by the US army, can lift a F-15 Eagle, a bit like a Eurofighter I guess, slung underneath the fuselarge with steel cables. If the cables will hold, then the Chinook will hold it better. Each fighter plane costs more than about, roughly, $10 million AUD!!! That's a lot to lose in a dogfight. (no laughing matter really, because who's paying for it. TAXPAYERS)
  7. There are so many 'faceless' footsoldiers that make up the Jedi that it is almost an army of itself. There are about ten thousand that make up the Jedi Temple and tens of thousands more that are undertaking missions.
  8. I read the meditation as medication chamber. silly me I must be tired. Cool battle pack, Great idea with cool extras. The swoop looks weird being bent back that much, but maybe that's just how it is.
  9. That is amazing!!! If you have seen the evolution sets of Hasbro figurines, (I don't collect them, I just see them) the set of three Deltas look fab!!! The bandoleer on his leg is a lot better than I thought it would be. If you want, could you add two grenades on his left leg (his right leg from our point of view) just like the below picture but fully black. If you have the time though, I know you may and probably are busy. Thanks, it looks a lot better than the last Delta, as a minifigure on my part, but most importantly on your part, the awesome paint graphic. /5
  10. Looks awesome and the boxart is amazing. Even the jedi lightsabres are chrome!!! Great Work!!!! (I can't emphasize enough with these emoticons)
  11. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=401652 That is the link to my brickshelf page which features the new Delta, this time I spent more time on the penwork and used a CD/OHP marker pen. This is my official entry. Thanks for your understanding as the other Delta was a preliminary design. But I know you like making more of these clones. Behold, the Field Marshal Delta Thanks to my steady hand, the sharpie (as it seems to be called) is pretty well applied as I see it and if I say so myself. Back view. There is a bandoleer (bad spelling) on his leg instead of his chest as his chest is already detailed and I thought the legs were bare. On the other leg there are two grenades. The helmet was tricky as I wanted it just the right amount of sharpie. I'm kicking myself about the bad craftsmenship of the first try. Thanks, KJ.
  12. Gosh, it sounds like you guys caught the 'next year sets' fever. When you're all scratching for info, it can get pretty damn hot when someone misleads you.
  13. Wow, those clones never cease to amaze me, and whent they eventually do, I think to how long it must have taken to do them on MS PAINT and I'm amazed again. You sure make good clones on your first try of them: There's nothing wrong with him at all! Could I use the new Delta as my profile picture? Off-Topic::: We raced in Motorstorm yesterday, maybe next week? Did you mean I was the amatuer or you were? Even though I won, I thought I lost the race when you overtook me on the second lap. P.S. If you ever get tired of clones, go on to stormtroopers or droids... Edit: If it is not okay to use this picture than just say so please.
  14. Good Review ADHO15. The speeder is good, although the first picture (unless the paper is bad quality) needs better lighting. Good Review overall, for such a small set I think you made the read worthwhile!
  15. I actually did the sharpie at my friend's house. He had a sharpie and I thought I'd give it a go. Thanks.
  16. Its just one KimT so please don't go crazy about is as I was experimenting anyway. I'm not one for custom stickers so I hope that explains.
  17. It sounds like the good and bad comments are kind of mixed up so I guess the UT-AT is still the best MOC I've made so far. A bit of ERA ERROR seems to be loose here. The ship was named Short Circuit as a joke about battle droids or to be intimidating. The crew could have been Ex-Republic Soldiers and traitors to the Empire or they could have been Republic Soldiers at the moment. But I didn't classify the era, did I??? The stretcher is part of a wounded area such as a medic area (forgot what the correct name for a medic wing is)
  18. Thanks for your good comments everyone! I'm glad you like them. If anyone has a big Lego City and a Fighter Tank then maybe someone might like to make a vignette of clones trying to drive in town. I don't have much of a city though. Sure you can ADHO15.
  19. Would that be this project??? Good work on the YT-2000x although the landing craft is still my favourite MOC that you've made. As the confident builder that you are, I know you want to make an even bigger and better set. Good Luck on that, my friend.
  20. (First Post Add-on) Improved Flamethrower This flamethrower is lighter and more powerful than the original. Delta's new suit, as well as the bike, sniper and force-pike staff. And last but not least the hunter-seeker droid.
  21. This might be my first true MOC that I've displayed here (the other one being the UT-AT which seemed to be a hit, but that was in the competition section) so I'll try to be on my best behaviour of presenting this. I built this ship with a grudge of the Republic Cruiser that has no room, no weapons and only its looks to make it good. Why did I buy it? Don't ask me! The Short Circuit... When I was building this, I started with the engines, which went surprisingly well. I thought it would never work but I tried anyway. Then I moved onto the central frame. The centre (dig that Aussie spelling ) was simple and pretty plain until we come to the cockpit. That was one hell of a build as the construction was rife with uncertainties. How do the pros (like Rook and the others) do it?????? That windscreen and the roof between those giant cones was the trickiest part of the build. The thing that was hard to figure out was how to attach the cones to themselves and then how to attach them to the frame and so they can open up. The answer was a technic pin-holed straight thing that connected to the bricks that had pin-holes. This allowed it to be stiff enough that it wouldn't fly open and still maintained flexibility. After the cockpit is created the last panels are created without much fuss. Then detailis are added like the guns and the comm array. There is a quad-cannon and tractor beam with spotlight for orbital racconaisance (terrible spelling ) runs. EVERYBODY! THE SHORT CIRCUIT!!!! (Applausing) The Crew HOTH MARINES An special ops member Coloniel Grier And his brother, loyal mechanic and skillled arms member, Dara Goodbye!
  22. Well, here I am again and if you are familiar with my posts or are a long time user than you might know what this is going to eventually lead to. Well if you guessed that this is going to be a modding page with some weapons you, my friend, are certainly wrong. I have some new things this time that are more exciting and new. I have just built a moc and several mods that are good if you want to make sets realistic. First up is the IFTX which, in my opinion, would be fun to drive on the road. But it isn't even legal to register even if you can bypass the size requirements. So what do you do? Then you install these: They are tailights, essential to any car. To drive on the road, then you will need them, so install them today! AT-TE MOD::: Apart from the custom detailing, what is different on this AT-TE? Well if you have good eyes then you must certainly see the gunner's seat and handlebars that accompany his sights. This mod makes it more realistic and far more functional, especially in dioramas or vignettes. Can you see the Orange Cheese Slopes? To put them there you need to move the gun barrel holder one brick stude back and fit the cheese slopes undeneath the beggining of the barrel. Then fit a handlebar onto a clip that is parallel to the stud. Fit that to another clip that juts out at one end of the stud. The clip of that brick shouldn't be parallel but the other one that holds a cylindar horizontal. If you're confused then just look at the pictures. NEW AND IMPROVED HAND-HELD TURRET The last turret was big and bulky so I opted for a smaller and lighter version that didn't look any less intimidating. The end result was quite pleasing and fitted in with the swiftness and easy to operate and move to a different location that suited the clone army. As you can see, the gun is quite good-looking if that can be said about a gun. It still has the trademark twin-lever/antennae stand, but only two are used to promote light-weight. Now for the Viggnette::: The vignette storyline goes like this: The new CloneCommanderDelta is on his speeder when he encounters his arch-nemisis, the blue assassin droid on a blue STAP. Just when the STAP seems to be getting away, he strikes with his force-pike which is tailor made to suit the speeder bike. He misses, but swings for another shot with the pike and... Bikie's Forever! ANTI-AIR BATTERY For a while now, I've wanted to make a gun that clones could sit on and gun down seperatist space craft. I've failed, to tell the truth, but now I think I have made an almost perfect small artillery cannon. Behold the Cloud Shaker! Ventress's lightasber hilts make good control yokes. With firing action! The TIGER GUNSHIP (LAAT) To make something different you have to MAKE it different. For me I didn't want to completely make it different as I wanted to keep it as a true LAAT. So I decorated it differently and behold the TIGER GUNSHIP. NOW WITH 10% MORE MISSILES. The overall feel of a gunship that has been painted by her pilots to make her feel safer and unique. WHAT COULD THAT BE FOR? Oh!
  23. That is one awesome truck but the crane thing is bland. Great review as always!
  24. I guess if anyone wants a tractor, then buy the green one as it has a good implement/trailor.
  25. That is so funny!!! I can't emphasize that enough though. All I can hear is the screeching of machine parts strained to the limit. "MY SERVOS AREN"T WORKING! I MUST NEED AEROBICS!" The detailing of the flexible mid-section of the bigger droid makes it look realistic.
