I think that the most visible and unique characters are the ones that LEGO would review with DC or Marvel, maybe even DarkHorse. DC needs to go with the Justice League and their villains. Looking at the major story lines will reveal the biggest sellers, and my favorite, Green Lantern and the Blackest Night storyline. Creating the sets are the hard part, besides Batman, most of the other characters exist, but don't have tons of vehicles, etc. Green Lantern would need to focus on a few key scenes and building a power battery for each corps. Luckily Marvel has a great franchise for the movies now and has plenty of fodder for sets. GL could have a jet that Hal flew, Abin Sur's spaceship, Sinestro and his power battery, The Guardians and their citadel. Each corps could have a mini-fig and a small set of trans bricks to make a neat construct. Aquaman could have 2-3 small sets with underwater creatures and Black Manta. Wonder woman has an invisible jet, not great for toys. A temple of the Amazons would be hot! Nonetheless, here is my wish list: Green Lantern, Hal Jordan and Abin Sur Sinestro Larfleeze, Orange Lantern Atrocitus, Red Lantern Saint Walker, Blue Indigo-1, with staff Carol Ferris, Star Sapphire Black Hand, Bill Hand Guardians of the Universe Other DC: Martian Manhunters Manhunters Hawkman Aquaman Cyborg Would love to see Watchmen, min of 20 characters, Owl-ship, Ozy's antarctic retreat, etc. Marvel: Fantastic Four with Silver Surfer X-men, mostly from the films, very iconic. The characters will have to have more of a comic book look to be noticeable and not just another mini-fig. Blue Mystic, Wheelchair bound Xavier, similar to Wolverine.

I think the area that drive comics is the figures themselves. There are some great sets from Batman because he has cool equipment and a ton of money. Other books are more about the characters. What would be great is either mini-figs like the collectible series now or packs with 5-6 characters in each, similar to what has been done with Alien Conquest, Knights, and City. If there were packs like that with Superman, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, Perry White, Zod, and Brainiac, I think they would be huge. Similar to Green Lantern, which I have stated my love for, have half of the corps in each set with a few other people like Carol Ferris, a Guardian of the Universe, a Manhunter, etc. That way there could be 5-6 people in each set and you could more easily collect them and let some sets like Batman be more about the vehicles. Think of Spiderman, Venom, Sandman, The Lizard, Green Goblin, and MJ in one pack. Another could be Fantastic Four with the 4 plus Dr. Doom. Watchmen! with the Minutemen in 2-3 sets! Moloch the Mystics, Big Figure, Dr. M, etc. Batman could have a Batman in each set and 3-4 baddies in each with him, Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, Alfred, Gordon, Joker, Clayface, really, the list goes on and on...

As a huge Green Lantern fan, I think that following the huge success of Blackest Night and Brightest Day, there could easily be: 1. Red Lanterns, Atrocitus and another member 2. Larfleeze! 3. Sinestro 4. Hal Jordan, Kilowog, and one or two others 5. Saint Walker or Brother Warth 6. Indigo 1 7. Carol Ferris, Star Sapphire Also Black Hand! and Hector Hammond, not sure about the head, but would be fun. Guardians of the universe would be easy, like Yoda. Since they are mostly humanoid, except Kilowog's size, (hulk), there are just a few heads that need to be made. Models to go with the sets could be an airplane for Hal, Oa, and build your own lantern. I could also see paying 20-30 bucks for 7 characters on a pack like the Alien Conquest, etc. mini-figs. I really hope to see a GL minifig, the other 6 or more would be super sweet.

Doesn't anybody else think that TLC is stopping Pirates for a year before the new Disney-Pirates of the Caribbean movie? This is the perfect opportunity to build the excitement for a Jack Sparrow minifig! Capt. Barbosa and his monkey!?

I hope that everybody here goes to the new quarterly survey from TLG and states how much they love the Agents line and can we have some more sets after these. I know they are focusing on vehicles, but there are so many other places to go without being Alpha Team, which i never got, but the Agents line has such a great reference to comic books, anime, and old spy movies that there are more sets available. An outerspace set with a satellite to be retrieved and a small Agents rocket. with an cargo hold and detachable pod. An Agents base, similar to the Batcave, with a small helicopter to land on the roof, radar tracking for the Agents rocket, with a lock up for the baddies. An Inferno Rocket A Dr. Inferno helicopter base, somewhat steampunky-Skycaptain -ish, with the rotors ejectable for the "motion" part of these sets. A Dr. Inferno car, similar to the Agents, but a bit more sinister and small Agents Robot to fight Dr. Inferno's, or small jet-pack for the agents, not the heli-pack they have now. So that is about 5 sets more Keep this well crafted and identifiable line going!

These sets will complete a great wing of the first 8 agents sets that I have from last year! Loved the first 8, I am sure these will be up to the task. Some small, some big vehicles, plenty of options for the Agents to keep them busy in this economy. I am not sure about how close these were to the Alpha Team, but these have missions and great vehicles. The attention to detail from all sorts of comic books and spy movies is great. Keep it up LEGO, I think there could be a great third line for 2010. Maybe more like Sky Captain for the hovering base (either inferno or agents), an agents base, a small agents helicopter, (inferno has 3 now), inferno's minions with jet packs for the hovering base, an inferno jet to match the agents (not exact, but a similar size), one or two regular lego motorcycles, dare i say one set for outer space? maybe a satellite to be rescued? nonetheless, the playability and hidden features have been awesome, the sound gate, lighted mission briefing, winches, etc have been awesome. I would love to see more.
