  1. SQUEE new trains. The IR reciever looks subtle enough, more plane tops, green train doors, that sweet front piece, more trusses, interesting new motorized bogey, and decent-looking plastic track. And looking at the full sized posters, that's the most work I've seen put into them in a long time...kickin'. -Stefan-
  2. Uhh, this bites. I sincerely hope they change it for future releases, otherwise the lil kiddies won't be able to afford it. Heck, even I can't afford that, and I have a job! Thought of one thing: if one of us creates a guide to the baggies, we may be able to get loads of a single good parts baggy (like how Yoda back when had the one bag full of tan 1x8's) by building the right model. -Stefan-
  3. Ooh, rock on! Thanks for finding those pics. The IR reciever looks like a bump mounted on the side of the loco? Odd. Hopefully it'll be a bit better integrated eventually. The new system looks promising though, by and large. -Stefan-
  4. Ji, I am actually looking at what it'd take to make a new, commercial quality game. So far, about 2 or 3 years, several bottles of tylenol, aspirin, and corona, and more than a few late nights. :D I've added some demo movies, and purdied up the page. Take a gander and lmkwyt! http://www.classic-space.com/brickspace/ Thanks to SteveR and Fazoom for hosting me on C-S.com, and thanks to the which of ya that made the front page, 'cuz as you can see I ripped it off. :D -Stefan-
  5. I've actually run out of room to mod Homeworld, and am looking at either modding HW2 or creating a new game platform from scratch. There's 2 other universes to draw from, and a lot of content for any of the 3. But yes, there are long term plans to bring as much brick to space as possible. :) -Stefan-
  6. Mmm - covenant ships in Lego...new chromed purples and blues... BUT, there ain't no way that's happenin'. :'( -Stefan-
  7. The only problem would prolly be payin' more for shippin' than the actual game. :D http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/store...51?s=videogames -Stefan-
  8. In order of posted: Space and Train (steamers). I've been told that before. Apparently I was originally going to be "Estefan." But Mom changed it, not sure why. As for Michigan - they have seasons, and it's cold. I was from San Antonio. Man do I miss that city. Especially Taco Cabana and Chik-Fil-A. Thanks for the warm welcome! -Stefan-
  9. Hi all, I'm a displaced Texan (in Michigan now :( ) over stateside. I joined up tonight to hopefully reach y'all overseas fellers with my BrickSpace mod, since it's obviously a great sorta thing for global communities ('net multiplayer). Plus I'm always scoping out y'all's forums since ya seem to be so on top a things when it comes to new stuff. -Stefan-
  10. I'm a new kid on the block, so to speak. Here I am, bein' all car repair guy Mexican cool while tinkering with...my computer. :P -Stefan-
  11. It's very much "My Own Creation," but it's also a video game. If this is considered spamming, by all means delete it, I'm not looking to tick anyone off in my 3rd post total. :D http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...=ST&f=18&t=2068 -Stefan-
  12. Hi all, First, for anyone that might read this and not the other 5 forums (what? I'm trying to get it noticed! :D ) I've sent this to, a quick explanation. BrickSpace is a mod built on the 1999 computer game Homeworld 1. It seeks/sought to bring the Classic Space era to life. Players are able to command fleets against other human opponents online, or play by themselves against the computer. All this happens in a completely 3D environment, with little to no restriction on range of movement. Always use to bet your friend that your Galaxy Explorer to kick his Galaxy Commander's butt? Well here's your chance. I'm releasing BrickSpace early, as I've run into some major problems after this point. It is a mod for HW1, so you do need that game to run the mod. It's an older game though, so you can snag it for under 5 bucks on Amazon. There's maps included for testing, I'd advise you to check those out first. For reasons unknown, I can't get the computer to give me a lego vs lego battle, still working on that. Can't think of anything else at the moment, so dl, and enjoy! http://www.classic-space.com/brickspace/ Edit: Criminey why is CSF the only forum with resize? LMK if that's ^ too distracting, I'll change it to a link. Please let me know if you find any bugs or glitches (I know about the salbeam). Any and all feedback is much appreciated! I'd also like to organize a (regular?) multiplayer game, if possible. -Stefan-
