  1. HEY! ...Thoose are expensive... seiously, this topic is conpletely bananas
  2. ... pardon me for te stupid un-developed reply but..."'DA HELL?!?!?!?!?" Seriously, that's way too freaky, even for the likes of me, and I have to take 3 pills per day or I'll become what my psychiatrist unknowingly calls "Highly unstable and possibly with a completly affected temper", what usually happens is that I go crazy and hiperactive at the same time, and I think that even "Highly unstable and possibly with a completly affected temper" this wouldn't make sense to me...sorry for being repetitive but what da hell?!?!?!? Thoose decals are kind of strange especialy with the pictures besides them(the last one specialy) I'd advise you to change the name of the topic, or a moderator might not approve, maybe change it to "Real and fanfic Hermione decals" or something, just make it more subtle, no wonder this has no replies, either everyone is afraid that if they post they might be expeled from Eurobricks, or they agree with me when I say this MAKES NO SENSE HERE OR ANY ANY OTHER PLANET OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM, OR THE GALAXY OR EVEN AN ALTERNATE DIMENSION WHERE EVERYTHING IS THE COMPLETE OPOSITE OF WHAT IT IS IN OUR UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost feel tempted not to end this replie with: Cheers By: A guy to who everything stoped making sense the exact moment after he read this post .
  3. 1st- What, what, what? Are you serious? Maybe the Men in Black could take care of me(even though I don't think I'm alien, at least I wasn't the last time I checked...) also doctors usually aren't my pick, I always get my purple trenchcoat full of blood stains, plus my hienas get indigestion from their coats' buttons, thoose idiotic dogs eat what they see and it's basically that. 2nd- I would, but then I'd get removed from Eurobricks, and possibly youtube, for being a psychopatic murderer, they don't tolerate us, I consider it racism , and I didn't mention the lawsuit that warner brothers would file me, maybe if you borrowed one of your lawyers I possibly would admit, but for now I lurk in the shadows of a circus tent, that, as amazing as it sounds, actually has wi-fi. 3rd- thank you for the info, I had no idea, so you are the bird to turn to if I need Batman animated universe info . Cheers. By- the guy who uses green toxic goop as soap, it gives that whitey skin tone that people just stare at, oh and don't forget to use "green toxic goop" brand shampo, for that extravagant green hair color that just warns people" look at me, I'm a dude who likes toxic waste!" P.s: this is becoming more of a conversation than a comment, so I'd like to go and bother you again by asking if you could make the Joker's minifigure but instead of the comic book design use "The Batman" design, that version's hair looks more like mine. DAMN YOU GARNIER GEL WHO SAYS THAT WORKS WITH DIFFICULT HAIR... I guess it's also my fault for showering at night, but still, I only do it because during the day I'm too busy watching the world's best comedy, "Destroyed in seconds", on the Discovery channel.
  4. Check IN your arkham? I know I'm a lunatic (and only not a serious case because I take my pills ) but I'm not that crazy, I'd rather run around in a bumper car while being followed by a tank than enter a asylum full of other looneys... I'd probably get sued by even thinking of runing from the army in a go cart because it was their idea before... As for other minifigures I'd like if you made Oracle(being that you don't like the "she-bat" version of Miss Gordon) and I could really use a cool wheelchair design(now that I think back on what said that might sound offensive... I usually don't think twice about what I say, but I don't know how to re-phrase it). Cheers. By- A guy who laughs while watching MTV's "Scarred"... and trows up while attempting to change the channel because "The Hills" are starting. Curiosity P.s: Can someone enlighten me by telling me why the character designs from Batman: TAS changed for the TNBA? I think that the Network changed, but that's not reason enough, the funniest character got his eyes' colores reversed, poor drawing version, he never did anything to anyone, except killing some people.
  5. 1- I guess yes, even though I never bought one. 2- Individual, even though I always have some favorite themes I don't buy sets to collect them all, I buy them because they look nice, either I like 'em or no deal . 3- I don't know what to say here, but I always felt fascinated by the sidney opera house 4- A new batcave is a must, mainly because I didn't get the last one(only the last wave of batman sets was available in my country) and because it could be a different part of the cave than the fist one, this way if smeone had the first one they could buy this has an "expansion" 5- I'd like some new power funtions piece sets, one that contains a motor and a battery pack(batteries included would be apreciated ) and another(which I think was already mentioned) that includes only LED's and maybe a battery box for a reasonable price, mainly because there's a huge online market for unofficial Lego adjustable LED's, they are nto only intended for Lego but profit alot from buyers who intend to use them for their creations,I(and probably a very big part of the Lego comunity) would also buy alot more sets if the Lego Batman theme was revived, not only including batman sets but city sets as well, some of the later theme which I already bought are, for example, the latest police hq, the city corner, and the Lego delivery truck and one in particular that I intend on buying is the limousine and helicopter set. Thus reviving the lego batman theme would result in more sales for both the batman and the city themes, not to mention the pick-a-brick sales going trough the roof due to entusiasts wanting to buy the pieces needed to make their custom creations, and the sales would only be helped by the huge fan-base of Batman, from young kids who want to play to adults who want to build, modify and show their creations and by the huge demand there is for batman sets that can be verified by checking the prices of the sets on websites like bricklink, ebay and amazon and confirming that they are very high and that there is no place where the sets are still sold for their original prices. Cheers By- A guy who can name 101 reasons why Lego Batman rocked and always will rock. Darn, I was 8 days late, why did I spend the last weeks studying? Well at least school is out and I am almost sure I passed the 9th grade(the national Portuguese exam might turn out to be my demise and the destruction of my ambitions due to ruining my world of academical achievements)... WHY DID I NOT NOTICE THIS POST??? Now I can only hope that there were enough Lego batman fans requesting the revival of the theme, otherwise I might have doomed us all to a life without Lego Batman. Unfortunatly not Cheerful. By-A guy whose life was ruined by his tests even though they haven't even been graded yet.
  6. Mainly because the sets have more playability due to the fact that there are several sets that you can merge to make a "big fight" like the bawing and batcopter, the batmobile and bat-tank, so on, plus I always thought that sets with veichles were desired the most when compared to sets of locations and batman only had 2 of the later and alot of the first, if it can be used for more than one thing then everybody will want it, and the batman location sets, not only were very famous locations, but could be used for various play times. Whilst that wasn't the case with the spider-man sets like the docks and the bank from sm2 which, because of being unknown locations, could be used once or twice for a heist and a fight like in the movie but nothing else. That's the problem with some movie based sets, but while spidey had this lack of alternative "play stories", that wasn't what happened with some sets from other movie based themes, like the race for the ark set from indiana jones, it was my first indy set, and the cool thing about it is that you can use it for various races, chases and so on, and don't get me started on Star Wars, and the thing that they have in common isn't that they are both lucasfilms, but that they are movie-based sets because there were no developments to the stories other than some books and tv series, and kids are unaware of the first, being this unawareness responsable for some of the sets being bought, because they are all of the same thing, yet that thing isn't already written(from what they know) so they can invent there stories and develop their imagination and creativity by building other things based on thoose sets(being the creativity and imagination the main thing TLG wants to transmit and teach children to develop trough playing with their sets). The main problem with spider-man movie based license was that there couldn't be much expansion that could be made into sets because it was movie based, and since the movies were far from the hole expansion of the story, even the biggest young fans of spider-man couldn't play with the sets like they wanted because they were missing characters and multi-function sets, and that's mainly a problem with licenses of movies that are based on pre-written stories but are a story of their own, plus the spider-man story line is huge, if lego had made a comic based license(like with batman) they could have developed several more villains and that would increase playability, and even so spider-man doesn't have veichles(except for the spider-buggy) and only a couple of key locations, so unless you wanted to play with your lego following a story exactly like the movie, in which case you could play with the sets, that doesn't inspire creativity nor imagination, and since thoose are the two things lego is all about, a lego movie-based Spider-Man license was a recepy for disaster, and that's also why I think no sets were made for the 3rd film, since they already knew that the sets wouldn't sell and they wouldn't be aproved by parents as a toy that children can play with and be entertained for long term, and if it's a thing you're gonna play with once and then trow in the trash then I think it's better not to waste money to only play with it that one time, the only proper spidey set(IMO) is probably the "spider-man's first chase" set, because at least you can play with it has another story than the one in the movie and it has alternative builds, I believe. If the Spider-man sets were comic based(which I think was already impossible due to "crappa-blocks") then they would be bought, that not being true made the line worthless. Also note that I think it was because of this that Lego decided to make a comic-based Batman theme, and eve smarter of their part was that they made it with a release of a batman movie, and even though it had no relation with the sets, it set the hype that made children and grown-ups want to buy the sets, because not only is there a huge batman fan base but the kids had gotten original(sorta) designs for veichles they already knew or thought would make sense to exist, so they watched the movie(and liked it) and then bought the sets that only shared a name with the movie and continued the movie's story or made a new one, due to there being only two locations that happened to be key locations as well('cause everybody wants a batcave, and if the good guys have a plae to prepare for missions they also need a place to finish them cougharkhamcough, maybe some banks and such would have been nice, but lego mainly wanted to make something that kids want and that inspires them to build and play. Thus the Batman sets are more desired than the Spider-man ones and, as a consequence, more expensive Cheers. By- a guy who though up a buttload of reasons why he was right, while he was writting and already had decided he was right, and managed to repeat them over and over without making it noticeable and make it very long so it would make him sound even more right... I should be a lawyer, I like to argue with people, when they are good they can make a nice amount of money and I can convince people that I'm right... then again I'd have to learn stuff...
  7. ...Damn... Well this one might be harder to solve... "He has married many women but has never been married. Who is he?" it was pretty straight-forward with me, but then agin I have no life. This is getting out of hand isn't it, just comment on the figures already! Also, Penguin, I think you have a brickshelf(even though I'm not sure), do you have any MOC's there or do you solely make custom figures, because maybe some dioramas to show the figures could make this more interesting(even though making dioramas for each figure would be kind of pointless so I suggest you make maybe 2 or 3 and then, depending on the kind of personality of the villain/ hero,or what he does, you would use one of thoose dios and photograph the figures in it), and I'm sure you wouldn't be able to resist building an "Iceberg Lounge"(Like Batbrick did) or maybe just an office for your minifigure... humm... "self-portrait", does that make sense? Anyway, I can't wait for your next part, and as funny as spamming your thread can be(I don't know why but I just love spamming/trolling, I consider it a hobby...), I am not fond of posting(especially in the Eurobricks forums)replies that deviate from the Topics'... topic... Cheers. By-The guy who told Batman that "playing dress up in a cave with little boys isn't something to be proud of... especially when you let one die at the hands of a lunatic who likes to dress up as a clown because his skin turned white, his lips red and his hair green due to falling into a batch of chemicals... which was also your fault, thus you're really the only one to blame" it was a nice talk, it was like 2 minutes long and cost me my conscience for a while along with a handful of hospital bills, oh and I also had to pay the police for miss-using their signal(which my tax-payer's money paid for, by the way), if I had the chance I'd do it all again, except I'd wear a cup and maybe a helmet. P.s: I believe I broke my own record for longest signature and, even better, it was actually funny for once .
  8. I can't see the folder, appearently the folder is not yet public, maybe try and use a link from another image sharing website like flickr, if you have an account.
  9. My reply is probably gonna sound ignorant, mainly because I am ignorant but that isn't important, I would have to say either making molds from actual parts and modifying the molds afterwords, making the custom part connect properly. Also another way would possibly be tampering with official parts to obtain what you want. Sorry if this doesn't help you, mainly because I never went too deep with making custom parts except for a batman cowl that I slightly modified, also I suggested making molds of official parts and then changing them becuase that way the custom pieces would connect and it would possibly simplify the work(I like to make molds of some veichles when I have the time and the patience but I never did it with lego so I'm not very knoledgable in that area), the only other thing I can suggest would possibly be using sculpey ot make the pieces(by molds I ment thoose pieces that are crafted and then used to make the actual things, in this case pieces, not molding like when you get something like clay and you construct something but molding like making pieces into which you can por a liquid material that will solidify after heating). Cheers. By- The ADHD kid extraordinare. P.s: if you want to learn how to make molds there's a site called indymogul(a website for film fans and filmmakers) that has a series about diy special fx and props, being one of the videos in the series a tutorial on how to make breakaway bottles with sugarglass, if I recall correctly, there's a part in that video that teaches you how to make the mold for the sugarglass bottle, I hope this helped, if you have any further qestions then ask away, it's always a pleasure to help other LEGO intusiasts. Oh... I just noticed there is a slight possibility I miss-understood the topic, if you want ideas for custom parts that you should make and not ideas on how to make custom parts then sorry for my idiotic post . Cheers. By- A guy who hasn't slept enough last night and is now charging down cola after cola as an attempt to stay awake during the afternoon of his very last day of school... SUMMER FTW!
  10. Woa... you've just amazed me... again, I'm gonna e-mail you the hospital bills for my facial reconstruction operations, my jaw just doesn't want to stay attached to the rest of my face =D. Theese characters just keep getting better, sorry for calling you pengy by the way... I'm impressed by your Maxie Zeus, but you are missing Hush, as for Enrique El Gancho(I love that name, mainly because his first name is very similar to mine) here is his pic(it was actually really hard to find): Hope to see more customs by the bird who invented surf(they actually did =D). Cheers. By- A curious fellow. P.s(for thoose who want a challenge):This being a batman post I thought I'd post a riddle: "Whats the eleven lettered word that is always spelled incorrectly?"
  11. Hey pengy(can I call you pengy?), why don't you make Enrique el Gancho(Ricky the hook) from the TNBA episode "you scratch my back", maybe Batgirl too(even though she won't be the easyest). I am not aware if you already made any of them, mainly because I've been studying alot lately, if you happen to have already made them please tell me. Oh, I forgot to mention Maxie Zeus and Hush, but I have a felling you already made Maxie Zeus(I don't know why). I am mainly asking because I love to see the minifigures you make, plus with the anouncement by Warner Brothers that Nolan will be making another Batman movie I just got the... "bat-rush" if you will, and I went and got my Lego Batman sets again. I hope you continue making theese and maybe make one of the characters I suggested. P.S: If you need reference pics don't be shy to ask. Cheers. By- the only guy who hasn't completed the Lego Batman videgame 100% after a year of playing it on and off... but I'm at 97.3% so I'm close =D.
  12. I loved this much like I usually love your other batman MOCs. I'd also like to point out that I am expecting your batcave like no sane person would... I would like you to take a look at Dave Kaleta's stuff, his batcave looks great and it could be alot of inspiration to you. Cheers. By- a guy who pretends to be a caped crusader when he's alone(most times).
  13. Awesome... re-invention? I like it, it's a pity that the minifigures' legs have to be put on in an akward position... it looses a little bit in playability, BUT IT MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR IT IN SHEER AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!! You Moc alot don't you? Is this the third Moc you post today? Man I wish I didn't have to study... and wasn't lazy... and had more pieces... and stopped making excuses... Cheers and Congrats on all the awesome creations(also FIRST!!!) BAI!
  14. Hey!It's my thread! Nah thanks for instaling the order, sure I'll stup the pointles share of idiotic information trough movements of a persons fingers towards a computer. So, would anyone else like to comment? c'mon don't be shy =D. BAY!(for now, before I destroy your homeworld...(this really calls for it) MUAHAHAHAHAH!!!!)
  15. ... may I say ROFL or is that cliché? I mean this is absolutely awesome... because only a sith deals an absolute no? But really, this kicks... cans? Cheers, and I promess not o start more conversations that deviate from the topic(if I can), even thought his is probably the best Moc this size, it's like the midi scale millennium falcon... except it looks good...=D Hasta La Vista.
  16. Wowza... GIMME GIMME pleaaaaaaaassseeeeeeeee Seriously, this is a great Moc, you should be proud(you probably are, aren't you?). Cheers. By- Banana-phone.
  17. A mint condition spider-man 2 spidey fig would cost around 6$ I believe(I haven't visited BL for a while) and a mint condition spidey fig from spider-man 1 might go up to 9$ or more, thoose are really rare, only came with 3 sets I believe, I have one of each but I really don't intend on selling. This Saturday I won't have to study(it'll be my only day off before my finals(Portuguese and math)) so I'm thinking of starting to build some... buildings... I don't have any ideas for them yet, so i better go back to the drawing board(and by that I mean my living room table with a pencil, an eraser, a piece of paper and maybe some colored pencils or pens). Hope to see more soon. By- Henrique Correia(aka: BOMBASTIC-MAN(maybe BOMBASTIC-KID would be more PC or BOMBASTIC-TEEN))
  18. Awesome to know, now here's an important thing I'd like to add: If this was considered a MOD it would be a merging of 2 sets, 7153 and 6209, the basci design is of the latter, the color scheme is of the first, and there was alot of the original structure that had to be re-built, none the less I thank you for all the nice comments, I made this in a day or 2 after re-watching Star Wars Ep II and noticing that I had never modified my 6209. Also I'd like to add another thing directed to brickdoctor: you don't even know how good it is to know...MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Thanks for the kind comments and keep 'em coming By- Herique Correia(aka: DA BOMBASTIC-MAN)
  19. Sorry but it's too important of a piece to customize, I'll stick with the custom, and no problem there were no structure pics thus there was no way you could know, except for one little detail, two of the dark blue pieces aren't round, they are actually some exo force pieces I had, they are hard to notice, but the only way for them to fit in would be to change the structure... not to mention the modifications to the wings so they move like in the movie, which is an error present in all Lego Slave I's... on the other hand that error is the thing that allows the existance of the rotating cabin feature, but still! Your I forgive you... for now...MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! Cheers.
  20. Looks awesome, you even used SNOT building, I love this ... Now to go to Vegas so I can get married to it Sorry about that, but this is a truly nice MOC, Hope to see more soon. Cheers
  21. ...I have nothing more to add, both comments get the same answer. thanks for the comment BTW. Cheers.
  22. I posted it as a MOC becausei rebuilt it from the ground up, the internal structure is different but it retains alot of the exterior deisgn of the original episode V set asfor the oficial Jango, funny thing is I have both Slave I's, there was no painting involved in the build except for the minifigure, thus I do have a Jango minifig, I didn't use it because the custom Jango is more "playable"(starting with the fac tha it has 2 seperate pieces for the helmet and jetpack instead of just one) and my jango fett body was being used by another minifig, as for the pics I'll try to take more, maybe when I make some more modifications t the set, the problem when taking them was that I was untrained with my new camera and the definitions of the camera were a little bit screwed up, none the less I apreciate your comment Cheers. From the desk of "The first evil mastermind you met".
  23. Portugal because it's my country, I don't really like football, even though yesterday we got 3 clean ones and one by 3 to none...
  24. It's suposed to be Boba in his father's armor but yes, I shaved of the fin and sanded down the "chin" of the helmet, then me and my father painted it, I gave the main coat of paint and he added some of the smaller details. Thank you for the comment, the Slave I is also one of my favorite ships, I did a funny thing and kept the original base pieces of the slave I, thus, when I want, I can take off some details, add others, change the pieces of the bottom of the ship and PRESTO, I have Boba's ship from the OT... pretty smart hey? Cheers. From the desk of "the first evil mastermind you met".
  25. Thank you very much Cheers. From the desk of "the first evil mastermind you met".
