I was thinking of maybe dino island, because I don't have that many islanders. Yeah! Maybe this raft washes up on the shore and the brave pirates are battling dinos. Add to shopping list: dinos. Cotton from pill bottles works just as good for smoke. p.s. or maybe the jungle island is a film set for the next episode of the A-Team. Hmm... I might need to make a dock for those massive BB rebuilds I have. They completely dwarf my fortress area. Good idea.

So I got an invite to display my LEGO display at the state capital over the holidays this year. I have to fill four display cases. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do with two of them (Space and Town), but I was wondering, how do I fill up a 4' x 8' display case with Pirates? I already have the port, 4 ships and I was trying to think is that enough or is it too sparse? I was thinking about adding a jungle island or something like that. What do you think? I based it of the official kit but made a few changes, especially the engines.

I just got a TIE fighter and thought, "Erg, those wings would make a great Blacktron sumthin'!" I really couldn't fit in hoses like the Renegade and I don't have any yellow windshields, but otherwise I think turned out great. Click the pix for more views. Whaddya think? (and I had to put that arrow on the top. Btron's have to have help with directions. )

Personally my pet theory about Blacktron is: Ogel rises to power in LEGO City Era Alpha Team topples Ogel Ogel escapes in his rocket ship -Hundreds of years pass- Blacktron are a ragtag group of rebels against the Federation(Classic-Space) Ogel's rocket comes out of wormhole near Blacktron planet Ogel organizes Blacktron into major power in quadrant to raise revenge on freedom...

While browsing the new catalog I got in the mail I noticed these: This is for Home One on pg 5. Luke does not come with this set, neither does Plo Kloon. Especially Plo in clone armor!. Here is Plo again test driving Ackbar's chair. BTW notice the captions don't match the pix. And who is this Mace Leia Guy with the green pants in the pirate tank?

I don't recommend using HO scenery because it sheds if you bump it around to much.

Has anyone had success using them with Mindstorms and the 9v system? Is it possible to use a PF motor in the Emerald Night and have it pick up off of 9v track? Or is there somehow a way to put a IR receiver between the speed controller and the track?

Here's a small boat I put together yesterday. It is sort of based off of the ship from the Imperial Trading Post. The sail was made by doubling the sail from the Enchanted Island boat. This also has a better view of my waves.
