Am I the only one who looks longingly...
Eskallon replied to Sir Norman Ray's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would personally never glue my mocs, the reason for is that I will build then destroy then build then accidently destroy and then I would half build then get bored and move on. So it wouldn't help me. I would try improving the structure. I cant really tell but maybe if the inside is hollow fill it in. -
I agree, I was looking through the star wars gallery and saw the 35,110 army of clones then given out in the jetix mag. I thought what the heck and it had been voted for almost the very most. I thought what the hell as he said oh me and some friends put this army together and they even got the number wrong. It was silly and I know for a fact I now own one of them figres so they are complete liars. It is stupid, though the people at lego don't really look through it properly as any one would know they are fake.

Well if it happened it would be amazing. The battles, the ship, and the trojan war plus they could do parts of the illiad and the oddyesey. Oh wow, stop getting me excited. This would be cool but maybe not true as if the game was for a new theme they would release them at nearly the same time and we have heard nothing about this theme soit is a little unlikely.

Well it isn't from Lord of the rings but it is meant to be in the siege of minas tirith. Adude dosn't realise they are at war so he just carrys on cooking when a flaming rock land ad burns through the ground. So it kinda has something to do with lord of the rings!

I was going to do that but I only have grey beards so it wouldn't really work.

I think vista is terrible actully. I have used it quite a bit and all I can say is what is the difference? I don't like them because they crash very easily and even after being taken apart and rebuilt they crash. That is a story from my dad that is true as he showed me on the touchscreen one I think it is called the XFR. Anyway now he uses a just windows one. Anyway to keep this topic from being all about macs and windows here is a mac in lego here

Well as I promised in the I need a decent editing program topic ,here are some vignettes I have made and edited. They are based on Lord of the rings. I wish I was a lot taller!! This is a little scene from the two towers where gimli can not see over the wall. Oh I thought my new gas oven wasn't coming till september!!! This one was my favourite of the two. The lightsaber holder is meant to be a rolling pin and the axe is meant to be a meat cutter. So enjoy Thanks to the nice person who moved this to the correct forum for me !

Well most people are normally attracted to them because of their user friendlyness. Although the majority of the software available is for a P.C their is a lot of software available for a mac. I used to think that the macs were not worth it but since I got this one iwould really recommend them to anyone including all of you here at E.B. The hardest thing for using it on the lego side is that you pretty much have to find your own way of doing things. Not saying the tutrials dont help but it is different to the P.C version normally.

Thanks everyone for being so helpfull. I have downloaded the Gimp program and i am finding it good so far so thanks Imperial shadows. Also thanks skipper for provideing that link to the 30 day trial I will hopefully be posting some well edite mocs soon, so look out for them.

Well I have two clones and both of which are straight looking. One from that Jetix magazine and the other from the v-19 torrent.

Ok well recently I got a macbook and I was was experimenting and I realised it was very hard to edit the images even the slightest and that I could barely edit them. I have already looked on the internet but I really don't want to spend time downloading, finding out how rubbish it is, deleting then searching. It dosnt need to be the best just needs to be able to do this kind of thing Here So can anyone reccommend me a good program for a mac that is free? P.S. I think this topic belongs here if not then please move it and I am very sorry.

Well if their will be a sixth set, I hope it will be the temple/cave place at the end of Indiana jones and the last crucade. It could be good as long as it dosnt end up being a little like the boulder chase thing. P.S. I havn't watched the films or been bothered to look at the old sets, so forgive my unnaming of places andd my need to use the word "thing".

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
Eskallon replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
if you are right I will be very happy! I will be checking all night on may the third on the uk area ad the usa area. If you are right this wil be great for everyone worldwide.(Or almost worldwide) -
Well I wouldn't worry as these lines also appear on most of my figures. I personally noticed this a while back and simply thought as it was on neary all of them it would have been the factory markings.

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
Eskallon replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree, I want to know what it is but I don't thin it will be anything major and I live in the U.k so I might not get it. Though it might be something like spend $150 and get a free figure. Or maybe a free clonetrooer. Lego probably just said its reallly great so they could get people thinking of it then paing money for the sake of say the best piece ever made when on bricklink it is then times cheaper. -
Brilliant idea, I agree with it all even though pirates isn't one of my favourit themes. We need the baseplates seriously do they want our money or not. You also mentioned a big imperial ship which you are right about as that would mean big battles in sets instead of us having to create our own when it is meant to be a battle using say only the newer sets.(2008 + maybe when they come 2009)

Which Clone Era is your favourite & why?
Eskallon replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My favourite type of clones are the episode two clones or if they are allowed the clone wars clones. The type is simply a normal soldier.I hate the episode 3 clones as I think they look too much like the stormtroopers and I tend to not think stormtroopers as clones seen as they were completely different. -
Wow, I actully havent seen some of these before. You are really lucky to have ot them all so early. I personally think the Garage set looks great. The wind turbine set also looks seriously cool.

The Theme you most want to Be in.
Eskallon replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well I always wanted to be in the castle theme, I always wanted to be able to build around the corners I could not get my hands through, all those little corridors. I also therefore wanted to be the fig so I could build like a fig and when done look out of a little window and say hey why the hell did I build this on the very edge of a desk so I cant expand it. Anyway this dream of wandering kind of comes true in an online game where you build and then play multiplayer games. Some of you may think it is rather mad though. It is: Roblox Anyway it can be rather cool when you are building a huge city or wandering through minas tirith or even fighting in the midst of world war 2. -
Well I was using internet explorer which is what I normally use and I have never had a problem with it before. I think I managed to fix the problem on my own as I simply decided to log off the actual computar.( I had previously tried this and it hadn't worked). Anyway then I came back on and it was logged off on eurobricks. I am very sorry to waste your time Siegfried. I think it may have just got stuck. I think this topic can now be closed down or locked.

It is a good attempt but need's some red. I think it is quite good but needs some improvments. Also I think the centre where it gets thin, it gets too thin. Anyway good attempt.
-
Well recently I was using a different computer to access EB and I found it would not log me out. It says I am logging out but then it resumes without logging me out. This can be rather frustrating as I don't want to be banned as somone elso does something against the rules. Is this happening to anyone else and is their a way to fix this?
-
Thanks skipper 24, I personally think this would be the better way to do it anyway as it means not so much hassle as to not being able to get it all right and it would maybe prevent a lot of confusion. Then again having it online could make it so much easier to aquire and would take some of the cost for us out as they wouldn'tneed a lot of disks and covers for them.

Well I think the minifig just specs up a set. I will always prefer to have the minifig but they are not completely essential for me if the set is good. I would buy a set if the set is ok but the figs are awsome but I don't like buying a set that is terrible but has great figs. The only time I would go back on this is where the set is either very small or very cheap. Anyway if i really want some figs I can almost always find them on bricklink or ebay. Though I am normally tempted to get a set if it has good figs I always know whether I will really enjoy thebuild which for me is a main part of the set.
