So far, I have played 12 games in this section of the forums, for the first 9, I was always proud of how I played. However now I am not so sure. My last three games have been... well disasterous. In Baritones 3 I got myself killed and died on the second night for over-roleplaying and careless stupidity. In Curse Of Imhotep I went berserk after no sleep and too much SW, leading me to becoming an unreliable idiot. Then in my most recent game, Yakuza, well I was the worst player in the game. I hardly participated and was a train reck even at the beginning. Over these three games I have been told to watch out, be more careful and revise my tactics. Yet I keep managing to do badly. EB mafia has certainly changed since I started playing 4 years ago and I don't think I ever managed to catch up with it. Im just not sure I have the skill to play another game anymore. Therefore since you mentioned that some others would be able to sign up I would like to seize the opportunity and maybe be able to learn to be able to play EB mafia like the real veterans out there. 1. Why should you be chosen to play this game? As outlined above, my game tactics are terrible, I have not the skill nor the mindset to be able to properly play and do well in an advanced game. I am actually interested in going back to the basics and learning things from scratch. I think that being in Mafia School could help me to do this, give me some time to learn what I have never learnt and bring myself up to speed with the more complex games. I need to learn how to do things like the pro's and what better way to do so. I believe that currently even half of the upcoming Mafia School students could play better than I have recently and I would like to see a new development on my side. 2. What is your favorite fairy tale and why? This one is easy for me, mainly because I am a disney fanboy. It's Aladdin. When I first lay my eyes on the disney film, it became close to my heart. It captured my interest of Arabia and for magical carpets. I can admit to even today having a few of the songs in my iTunes.

It wasn't bad, and was still enjoyable, just needed a lot little tweaking.

And if I had died I still would have 'won'. That shows no effort either (Not that I really care that much for winning, its more about enjoying the game) . I just think that the system worked fine before we introduced team wins.

Oh don't worry, Sandy will look after you and make sure you get the help you need. I say this only because after this game starts it may be a fair few months before a new one starts. You can never be truly ready till you play a game so you may aswell take your chances.

That may well be it, its been puzzling me for the past two months.

Whats it called when a host has a specific random event, and when a player fulfils that event they die because of it. It was something to do with a box of potatoes falling on someones head in a game?

Thanks for hosting the game Badboy, it was enjoyable and a very original theme, while it had its problems, we should all still remember the good things. Especially that gorgeous Dragon statue which we were to be fed into. My usefulness in this game was nil, and I hated it. It started well and I had lots of time, however at the beginning of this month I came into some trouble which left me with a lot of organising and consolidating to do. When that ended and I said in the day thread that I had some more time, I just wasn't in it anymore. I had become useless. I hadn't done anything for half the game and I had no clue as a vanilla townie for what to do. It was like having to start a brand new game 6 days in. I had considered giving up my place in the game on day 2 or 3 but I knew that a vanilla townie serving no huge purpose was not going to be replaced, and therefore me being still in the game would at least give the town one more person over the scum/agents. So I would like to apologise to all of you for having to basically give up. I don't like that I did it and I have decided to take another little break from these games, whether that be for one game or three. I hope that next time I sign up, I will be able to cope and play to my best. I must disagree with this, part of EB before was that there was pride in being a winner. There was a smaller amount of winners and gave people more motivation to win, this didn't discourage players, but encouraged them to work to the best of their ability. Well it certainly did for me. I wouldn't want to win if I didn't survive because for me it doesn't show any real effort to survive, which is what these games are for, surviving. I mean, say that you were a bomb and wanted to give yourself up to perhaps kill a scummy. With my proposed win condition (of surviving) you would have to go through every other theory before doing so, you would have to think about it and try not to, rather than just let yourself go and brush it as, "I'll win anyway".

Weird stuff indeed. I think that the evil Lords above must have damaged our systems causing malfunctions. We should have a droid repair it immediately,

Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration, because I have seen worse and it was a nice attempt which has unfortunately for you, failed. I'm just gonna follow Norio, I can trust him and thats it.

KimT, in all my 4 years of being on these forums, its you who I remember most. Your dedication to the theme and forums, knowledge of the SW universe and sexy personality all inspire me. I have enjoyed working with you in the past and I will hopefully enjoy having discussions with you again in the future. I wish you the best of luck with life and with the new job. I know for sure that LEGO have just hired an amazing person.

He is the most enthusiastic and "ready to play" member I have seen in a while, but I guess the decision has been made now. Im sure Badboy will be along soon, maybe a mod could close the thread for now.

That was an interesting night, its good Cherry took one of em down with her! Im willing to go with Setsuko, based on your suspicions Norio. It would be hard for me to say that you haven't been a star in the past few days and its enough to earn my trust. Im still in the game to make sure we have the best chance possible, I haven't had time for the game and its finally starting to pick up and I'm more available. My performance over the past few days has been terrible and the only thing that kept me from pulling out was that one more townie can make all the difference in these situations. Like I said, hopefully I could be more active over the next few days.

Yeah, I was a little shocked too when I saw that, it was a very very strange roleclaim indeed! I also agree with your point on the communication issue, this might mean that we have a better than expected chance for using the agents to our advantage. Then again, it might make little difference since I would doubt the agents know of each other. I'll have my ear open today and listen intently to anything anyone has to say!

Well, JK Rowlings Harry Potter book was denied by more than 200 publishers and today it is read my millions and a hugely successful film series. I say, don't ever give up, because one day it will get approved and its true potential will be realised. Now, I myself have sat down and tried to write a book many a time, but Im not exactly the cleverest of people and I find it hard to stick to a storyline.

That was a shit morning, I will put my hands up and say I made a mistake starting the lynch on Ichirou. I wont go on about it since, everyone else already has. But this makes no sense and sounds about as stupid as Zakura's roleclaim. More the reason for us to not trust you, out of all people to claim to, Zakura?
