I'll admit that I too was wrong about KK1. I keep thinking about KK2. Some of the KK1 mini-figs are pretty nice. I think they get a bad rap because of KK2. I think KK2 can be in the castle modules. Maybe the Dungeon as prisoners or victims of some of Thrashs' creations.

That's a great idea ISC. It's funny, I was just looking over at my old Forest men sets the other day and was thinking how cool it would be to have them included in the castle build.

Looks like the competitive juices are starting to flow. I just placed a huge order on B-Link this past week. Can't wait to build some more in support of my team. Haven't really heard all that much from Team Alpha in a while. Go Team Beta! darkagent -
Very nice ISC. I was actually wondering about that green drawf myself.

Thrash, that's a very cool technique you used for the wine rack. I don't think I would have ever thought of that. Very nice.

Thanks Thrash. Sorry JimButcher. I started off with an empty room and the figures. Then I looked at the list to see what I had enough parts to make and would go with the figures. It's all in good fun . -
Very nice work Thrash. You've inspired me to build another module today. Here it is, the Royal Armory Here we have the Royal Weapons Master doing some book keeping, while his wind-up automaton knight stands guard. Here's a top view with attached hallway A closer look at the figures. The wind-up knight is based off work by boses, whose work is being featured at classic-castle.com right now I'm now very low on Lego bricks, so this might be my last module build in a while. Wow, all of Thrash's new modules inspired me to put something together today, the Royal Armory. I'll most the pics in the Beta thread. Thrash, if you could work your Word and thumbnail magic, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. Enjoy darkagent -

Wow Thrash, you sure are pumping out the modules. Great work. Sure you don't have enough bricks to make the whole thing. Go Beta -
Wow Thrash, that is an awesome War Room. Great work yet again.

Thanks guys for all the comments on the Throne Room. ISC, I totally agree with you about Knights Kingdom. That whole time period when Lego decided to do more modular pieces and putting gimmicky play functionality before design, just turned me off.
-
I was never a big fan of the whole Knight's Kingdom line. To me, they were all bad. I only have a couple sets I found on clearance and none of them had a scorpion shield. The shields on the wall were mostly bought on Bricklink.

So here's the finished Throne Room. Top view of the king holding court with his allies, the Dwarfs and Elves. Close-up of the king and queen A look at one of the walls with some war trophies The other wall with some more war trophies A look at the back wall with the fireplace Some more detailed pics can be found here on Brickshelf (when public). Hey guys, hope you all had a happy new year. With the time off for the holidays, I was able to finish the Throne Room. I'll post more pictures in the Team Beta thread. Enjoy Darkagent -
What...no dead bodies or body parts? Great work yet again Thrash.

I agree. I wasn't too sure what was going on in the first pic, until I scrolled down and saw the second pic. Having everything presented in one pic would definitely help. Good work though.

Thanks Sandy. The doors are on the sides in between the columns (just not visible from these pics). This throne room only has a throne for the king (for now ). Yes, my plans are for a nice red carpet in front of the throne, flowing done to the fireplace. -

Merry Christmas guys. Just wanted to post some WIP pics of my throne room. It's 32x32 and 14 bricks high. I'm going to tile the entire floor, so the green baseplate will not show. As of now, I've run out of bricks, so this project's going to have to wait until I get my Bricklink orders. Enjoy darkagent -

ISC, I like the last one with the high arches. -

Cool, 32x32 seems look a good size. I think the Throne room should be pretty tall, maybe double the normal size? Oh, the ideas that are flowing through my mind. I'm so excited to get started on this. It will be something that will take some time. I'm going to have to make some major purchases on Brinklink, since I'm practically out of bricks. -

Hey guys. I'm thinking about doing the throne room, but I'm not quite sure what the size is. From the diagram, it looks like it should be bigger than 16x16. Also, how tall should it be? -
Thanks Thrash. Yeah, 16x16 is a challenge. I had to take out a lot of stuff to make it work. The walls looked kind of plain and I had the Harry Potter banners laying around. Thrash, good job on the Barbershop. Yet another truly disturbing building. Makes me think twice about going to a barbershop that also sells Meat Pies.

Thanks for the compliments on the Chapel guys. I actually wanted to make the stained glass window larger (wall side), but decided I had to make it smaller since this was an outside wall. It'd be way to easy to infiltrate the castle. Thrash and Stol, I love the church, especially the crypt with the secret treasure. ISC, that Barracks looks great. I really like the design and color of the building. Seeing this, makes me want to tackle one of the bigger buildings. It's too bad I don't have enough bricks. Thrash, thanks for making the thumbnails. -
Well guys, it's been a busy weekend. Here's my Chapel. Here are some pics of the inside, where the bishop is giving a sermon. Enjoy darkagent

Here you go Thrash, closer pics of the Centaur. It's based off the work of Hound Knight over at Classic-Castle.com. Originally, I just took the horse's head of intact, but it left a big gap that made it look like something was missing. I ended up cutting up the horse's head to fill in the gap. I was just finishing up my Chapel, when I noticed you posted your Church. Nice work to the both of you. You must an endless supply of bricks. I'll have mine posted in the Team Beta thread shortly.
