Grimwald buys a Scroll of Frailty from Elphaba using the 50 gold that Arthur had lent him, leaving him broke (again).

Old Grimmy's eyes lit up and nearly popped out of his head once Arthur held out 50 gold. "A scroll, ye say? Well, I am partial to parchment, hehehe... Hmm. Ye're a young'un, but ye look experienced enough, so I'm sure ye know what ye're talkin' about. The eager gnome snatched the 50 gold out of Arthur's hand, but was quick to replace it with his own two hands, and shook them fervently. "Thank ye, Mr. Mage! I'll be sure to pay ye back as soon as I can! I'm sure one quest'll be long enough to make some more dough..." Before Arthur could even introduce himself properly, the old gnome skidded out of the Hall and down the street to the Marketplace, with Arthur's 50 gold jangling about in his pocket.

Grimwald was getting noticably agitated at no-one answering him. He wasn't one to strive to be the centre of attention, but he hated being ignored. "C'mon lads, help a poor gnome out, would ye? 150 gold, that's all I'm askin', and I promise to pay it back as soon as possible! I know none of ye've spoken much (if at all) with me, but I'm a gnome who remembers who helps him and is sure to help them back.

Well, I've tried, but no-one's helping me out yet... *HINT HINT*

"Attention people, uh... Please. I would find it very corking if one of ye fine fellows and fellowettes could lend me a paltry 150 gold, so that I may purchase one of Elphaba's fine gems and imbue it into me weapon. I swear to pay ye back as soon as I complete me first quest (or I get enough money later, whatever); Gnome's honour!" With that, Grimwald looked hopefully around the room at everybody there, grinning.

It's official, droids hate pirates! "Jolly Rodger-rodger."

Aw man, by the time Grimwald completes a quest and gets some money, Elphaba will be long gone!

That'd be a perfect theme song for him.

Grimwald woke up with a start and looked around. He saw a peg-legged human smoking a cigar, got out his pipe and went over to him. "Hey there. Got a light?"

Cronk as a minstrel? I guess he played that flute at the end of Quest 53 for a reason!

I always figured it'd be Peppermint_M. I dunno why, hahaha.

Grimwald was confused. One minute a big burly ogre was trying to get his seat back, the next a bald human almost started a fight on his behalf, and then the two walked off together as if they'd known each other for years. It all happened a bit fast for Grimwald to grasp what exactly had just transpired. The old gnome simply shrugged, slumped back in his chair and fell asleep, snoring lightly.

Grimwald watched as a myriad of new faces (well, new to him anyway) appeared in the Hall. Most of them seemed fatigued and in deep thought, as if their quests had sucked most of the life out of them. The old gnome stroked his hairy chin thoughtfully as he imagined what they must have been through during their time as heroes, and wondered if this sort of life was really suitable for an ex-janitor like himself. He had had some experience on the field, but that was mostly healing the sick and tending to the wounded, not galavanting off into the unknown for fame and glory. He set these thoughts aside as he ordered a beer and put his stubby little feet up. He looked forward to the day when he was called for duty, but for now he was content relaxing in the Hall's warm and oddly comforting atmosphere.

I don't mean to be annoying (I probably am though :P), but has anyone got a new quest in the works? I'm pretty eager to get into the game already! :D

Looks nice that one, might be good for Grimwald if he ever gets to level 30!

Is it ok if I change my character's class from Mage to Cleric? I noticed the shortage of clerics going around, and I figured it wouldn't matter if I changed Grimwald's class since he hasn't been on any quests yet, but I thought I should check here first. And then, y'know, I could change his inventory to include the items a cleric starts with, plus the things he bought at the market.

"And THAT'S 'ow it's done!" Grimwald says, as he helps Kiray up. "Don't feel bad lass. Ye did great, ye almost had me there! But I've been battlin' beasties since before you were born (maybe even before your parents were)!" he said with a grin and a wink. He then strutted proudly back to the hall.
