  1. "I... er, I mean we helped her with some cargo, so she offered to take us to Portston along with you. I hope that's alright."
  2. "Alright then, looks like we know how we're getting to Portston!"
  3. "My pleasure, really. Also, I've never been one to deny such an offer, so I'll accept the word-in, thank you very much. As for you other offer..." Grimwald turns to his companions. "How abut it, lads? They appear to be going where we're going, after all."
  4. "Sure thing." Grimwald happily helps her with her cargo.
  5. "Well, I could always spend the extra ten gold for better cabins if you want, but the Red Rooster is fine with me, too." Grimwald then turns to the Bonaparte scupperer. "Greetings miss, that looks awfully heavy! Would you like some help with it?"
  6. "Well, I guess we'll be off to the docks then" Grimwald said, a bit uneasy about the whole ordeal. "Is there anything else we should know about all of this before we head out, Dr. Slant?"
  7. "Yes, not a bad idea..." Grimwald remarks, not bothering to try and hide the fact that he couldn't stop staring at the butler's honking great ears.
  8. Grimwald draws his party members nearer and whispers to them. "I'm not buying a word of what this bloke's saying. He's clearly hiding something. We need to find out what, and why."
  9. Maybe he means they were really attractive?
  10. "A break in, you say. Did you manage to get a look at the intruder?"
  11. That megablocking scary walrus thing from Pingu should be a quest boss. Get on it, QMs!
  12. I've never played FF either, actually. Or Zelda... *gets shot*.
  13. "Thanks lad, but I've no use for it anyhow - as a Sage, I'm restricted to casting spells, not attacking physically." Grimwald frowns suddenly as he remembers the task at hand. "Well, we'd better get on with it then." And with that, he leads the party into the doctor's house (or to at least knock on the door).
  14. "How about this?" Deus: Mead, 1 Venom, 50 gold. Darksten: 2 venoms, 50 gold. Grimwald: 20 gold.
  15. "We did! Haha, yes, we... Oh, bugger. We just killed - well, re-killed - an employee of the man we've been sent to retrieve something from. Perhaps we acted a bit too hastily....." Whilst contemplating what to do next, Grimwald decides to let the others say what loot they would like.
  16. "Bloomin' brilliant, we're on a roll here! Heh, I can see you young'uns have done this sort of thing before! He turns to Darksten. "Heheh, not bad for an old man, eh? Good job with those arrows there!" Same action, same order.
  17. "Ow! Why you rotten bloody thing! Good shot there Deus, keep at it!" Grimwald repeats. Same battle order.
  18. "Well, if this is how it has to be... Shall we, gentlemen?" Grimwald fires a spell from his Diamond from the back row. Battle Order: Grimwald Darksten Deus
  19. Grimwald feels a small piece of crumpled paper materialise In his back pocket. Realising it was a lottery ticket, he signs his name and magics it away again.
  20. (OOC: I'm so sorry, I just realised I forgot to include the things I bought at the Marketplace! I've updated it again. I'm really sorry about that! ) "Oh no no no, my good man, we were simply sent here to retrieve some documents from Dr. Slant for a Mr. Harold Bismark. So, is the good doctor still here? May we see him?"
  21. Grimwald looked at the zombie warily. Most of his encounters with the undead had been less than pleasant. (OOC: I've bought some items at the Marketplace and added the robes that Nerwen sold me, and I've updated my hero statistics accordingly.)
  22. Before his quest, Grimwald buys 3 Smelling Salts (75), a Phoenix Essence (50), 3 Meads (45), 2 Nostrums (70), and 2 Mulled Wines (110) for a total of 350 gold, leaving him with 398 gold (748 - 350 = 398).
  23. Grimwald had been taking a nap when The Regret showed up, but woke up with a start when the black mist appeared. "Wha... what's happening? And... *cough* where'd all this *wheeze* smoke come from?"
  24. Oh ok, that makes more sense. I'm surprised I haven't checked it out yet...
  25. Three thousand? Imagine if the whole lot of them signed up! We'd be to Quest #200 in no time.
