  1. I'd like to examine the pistol more closely.
  2. Wow, that is a seriously impressive diorama. The brick background is a neat touch you don't see often. Thanks for posting it, General. This actually belongs in other themes, though. I'll move it there.
  3. The administrators are investigating a technical problem, and because of that have temporarily disabled a few features. Please see here: [link]
  4. Lots to see in here. I'd like to search the coat that's hanging on the rack.
  5. Wow, I'm impressed! How did you crack it?
  6. Hello Chandler, welcome to Eurobricks. I hope you enjoy your time here. There has been a few issues lately regarding the site, which is the reason for the new posts feature not working.
  7. I'll check the wooden panels quick, just to make sure they aren't compartments. Moving to the West then sounds good to me, but I'd like to try Peter Crawford's idea of opening all the doors first.
  8. Has someone already moved all the armor sets to make sure there's nothing under them? If not I'd like to do that, as well as search the armor itself before we move on.
  9. That's a presumptuous thing to say, isn't it? I would be surprised if that's worth more than everything I own, especially since this one is just sitting in the hallway. That being said, your point is taken, and if we take it apart, I do not mind if you do it. Could we try to use the sword to open the door, or would that be a bad idea considering its worth?
  10. Hmm. That article is a bit disturbing... Does anyone know what happened to the butler? Can we take apart the suit of armor and search through it?
  11. No, unfortunately I never had the chance to get to know Lord Chester. It seems to me that there is some natural light coming from the direction of the smaller wooden door, I'd like to examine the threshold area of the door more closely.
  12. You had a key? Whatever for?
  13. Is that so? I don't recall ever meeting you before... how would you know whether or not I am a talkative person? Mr. Sinclair, I hear you are going to star in a movie directed by Peter Jackson in the near future. This is something I would be interested in hearing more about.
  14. Good afternoon, Gentlemen. The name's Michael Dunne. I'm the CEO of the construction company Brick Plates. You've probably heard of us. I'm here with Miss Greenwood, who it seems you've already met. This manor is truly a great architectural work. I look forward to studying it a bit more once we get inside.
  15. It looks good so far! This actually belongs in Other Themes though. I'll move it there.
  16. Very cool creation Kris. It all looks very clean, yet you still have lots of great details throughout. As mentioned, those stairs are especially neat.
  17. Neat scene Dano! Nice job with the cliff face and the varieties of vegetation. I feel there should be a bit more variation in the landscape, though. Perhaps a few rocks and different coloured dirt strewn throughout the path, and something to break the shape of the path and beach a bit, so they're are not just straight lines.
  18. Beautiful scenery with a lovely atmosphere. I can see why the knight chose it for a picnic. Really nice job with the giant too. I think this is the first time I've seen one of those large figures in a minifig scale creation... it works great here.
  19. Is it old grey or the new blue grey?
  20. A neat idea a good execution! I was only able to find three.
  21. A quite comical scene! Without a roof or ceiling though, I couldn't tell what was going on until I read the description. I like the posing, I especially how the king looks ready to do battle with his goblet and chicken leg. Why is a knight hanging from the chandelier? Was he standing on the table when it collapsed? The mounted shields along the wall are a nice detail, but they seem far too low to me. I would think they should be a bit higher up, at least more towards the center of the wall. Good luck in the contest.
  22. Absolutely astounding. A thing of beauty. All the architectural works throughout the walls are really cool, and the way the castle sits over the surrounding rocks is sweet. Were you working on this before the start of CCCVI? Either way, I find the speed between this castle and the last quite extraordinary. Wonderful work.
  23. It's difficult for me to envision how this will appear when it's done, but right now it's looking great! Those trees are neat too. Thanks for keeping us updated.
  24. Since this advice does not apply to just a single theme, I'm going to move this thread to General Discussion.
  25. Thanks for the notice Bundalings. I believe this fits better in the Buy, Sell, Trades and Finds forum though, so I'll move it there.
