Hello guys. I'm happy to see that a lot of you have stuck around this long and that we have some new members. Some tremendous builds over the course of the last few months, Mitgardia really is looking great! It comes with great regret that I have to inform you that I'm stepping down as Guild Leader of Mitgardia. I simply feel that my absence and lack of building is not helping to advance the guild, and as another long lull period of no building looms ahead for me it won't be fair to the guild and those interested for me to continually be absent. Ecclesiastes will take over as Guild Leader, as he has already helped out a great deal when it came to organizing Mitgardia in my absence. Thanks for a wonderful year of building and adventures my friends, please keep the Guild strong and continue to build it up and to make the mighty Norse men proud. -S-o-T (Alex)

Hello fellow guildsmen, Due to the extraordinary events going on in Historica the Jarl is laying low and secretly traveling without making major statements along the way. So far Mitgardia has done an incredible job preparing our forces for the push back against Victor. The Jarl will be back soon, until then, keep Mitgardia and GoH strong!

Ahh, what refreshingly original theme from Lego! I applaud them and look forward to seeing these in stores! (Hopefully soon) Lions do look a bit dopey, but the rest of the figures make up for it. Really love the crocodile boss in the large set. (Torn cape and all )

Great presentation kabel! It flows well, and each area is district from the previous. That is exactly what we want to see.

Hello guys, As with most major transitions, there is always a period of re-organizing and that;\'s what we'll have to do to accommodate the new format. Clearly a lot of posts were lost, but don't be disheartened, we'll get the Guilds running and up to speed pretty soon! Good to see some Challenge 5 entrees already appearing. So far, very impressive work everyone!

I'd suggest buying the pro account. It's only a few bucks per year and fully worth the unlimited storage it allows you!

Great work Gabe! The tower and wall in particular catch the eye with their unique texture. The boat is very well done, and the color scheme overall is balanced and appealing. A great mend between Avalonian and Kaliphlin designs!

When I mentioned I was wondering about what the story behind the theme was, it's not because I have profound expectations of compelling narratives from Lego. In fact, I look forward to it just out of curiosity; how do you explain a theme in which large humanoid animals who do battle with mechanical vehicles.

No, but you can build on the land of any guild you'd like. Ecclesiastes and de Gothia have both done MOC's of each others' characters visiting their respective guilds.

I'm curious as to what the story behind this theme will be. It's got a bit of a Narnia meets Ninjago feel at the moment. I sure hope all the differnet animal characters are as unique and detailed as the lion from the sticker book. Looking forward to the eventual official pics!

Hi guys, as you can see I've been away from Lego and EB for pretty much the whole month. I should be back after a week or so, but won't be building anything until at least after new year's. Great builds and entrees from our active members, keep it up guys as there will be rewards for those who continue to work and build for Mitgardia!

Yes, I plan on fleshing out more of Valholl and the jarl's palace.

After challenge 6 the world of Historica will be opened up to you the members to expand and build. As fun as the challenges are they take a long time to complete and hinder some people's desire to build free builds. After challenge 6 there will be a lot more freedom and members will directly steer the course of GoH, instead of the guild leaders. Not before major celebrations and rewards for loyal members though.

No multiple entrees; spend the time working on one really good one. If multiple entrees are submitted we'll judge the first.

Historica and its sub-forum aren't going anywhere. What we mean is that the official challenges will end after challenge 6. The world of Historica will still be very much alive and will be carried by original MOC's, member contests and things like the Builder's Academy. Have no fear, GoH will be a part of Eurobricks for many years to come.

That means a place within the camp that is thematic to the mystic location you pick. If you want your camp in a dwarven mine, perhaps this can be a dwarven throne room. If your camp is in a mystic forest this location can be reserved for a magical pond, or a mystical tree that bears strange fruit etc. It's merely a suggestion, you don't "HAVE TO" include any of the items in that list.
