I tried to build the scene, where Lando escapes from the explosion, after attacking the Death Star. I didn't had much parts to create the scene perfectly, but I tried to get the best out of my parts. The biggest problem, that I didn't have any trans yellow/red parts, so I skipped to recreate the fireball. First I had to create a Brickshelf account, but today I made some pictures. I built it almost completely from new gray parts. I tried to use the old colours only if there was no other option. It took about 9-10 mounths to finish it, because I wanted it as cheap as possible (but only with "new" parts!). If I remember correctly, it costed for me around 80-90$, but without the printed parts. As you can see, I used 4 other slopes instead of the printed head piece, and plain dishes on the legs. That made it more cheaper, but I think, it still looks good. :) I hope You can compare it with the new one, and I can help you all, weather to buy the new one or not. (Or maybe build it from BL like I did. :)) I started another "from Bricklink" set building. It is the 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon. :) I have about 8-900 parts already, but I think it will take about 1,5-2 years. My goal would be Christmas, but I think it is totally hopeless. Well, last year I built it in new bley, as You wrote it :) but insted of the printed part I used 4 1x2 slope piece. It looks great, and after I saw the new AT-AT, I am happy, that I did not waited longer to get a newer one, and built it myself. This new one is a bit smaller, and the whole thing looks so weird (even comparing to 4483). Maybe because the head is too big for the body.

Well, my all time biggest (and continuos) disapointments are the stickers. I think TLG only uses it, because it is much cheaper. But this gets me the same feeling about the sets. I like the old printed parts, because they are more lasting, and most of them are unique. As I saw the video about the new arc-170, I tried to figure out if the cockpits are printed, but later I saw in a rewiev that it is only sticker. So, in one word: stickers.

It seems that I have started quiet a good argument about the spyguy. :) I am happy that lot of members agree with me. I am really curious, what the result will be. 6, or just 5??? Mystery is so ON!!!

He's in the background, just like in the movies. :) (At least I hope so...)

Landspeeder: I've just noticed, that the set will have 6(!) figs! Just look at it! There will be, C3PO, R2-D2, Obi, Luke, Sandtrooper, and the spy creature, who showed Han's shipyard to the stormies. Just look closely on the upper left of the pic. There is a black fig, with gray face. ;) I hope it will look like in the PC game. So it will be a really good set.

How can I watch the video? It says, "This video is private"... And I have a Ytube account. :( Anyway, I will be really happy, if it will be a Hoth bp. I still don't have any Snowtroopers. edit: I watched it on another site. Hard to tell, what will be included in this set, but it is snowy BP for sure.

I've just noticed, that there is no "number of pieces" written on the Venator box, so there's maybe a slight chance to get more figs whit this set! I hope TLC will change it, and add some more figs to it.

These are "sure to buy" sets! :) Thanks for posting it. I probably will buy 2 of the Hoth sets, because I still don't have any Snowtroopers. The new ewoks looks awesome!

Thank You KimT! It's a bad news for me, but lets be positive! I don't even have money for the Death Star, so this is a chance to get a DS Vader with this set.

It's still not clear for me. The fig in the set is chrome black too, or only the extrta one? I hope, it will be in the box too, otherwise I wont have any chance to get one... :(

Hi All! I'm afraid, I have to tell You a "bad" news... Actually, it is a MOC, by a Hungarian AFOL, so it is NOT the new Venator set. Anyway, this guy (Matyo), has all the SW sets from the past few years, and it is displayed on almost every local meetings. :)
