1. I'm sure there are way more models than just this. 7 models + 8-9 (according to Brickset (I think)) < 24 days of content.
2. How? There was a Sherlock Holmes movie a couple of years ago, so I don't think there will be another one any time soon. Licenses usually correspond to movies, so I don't think it's plausible at all.
3. Nice. Good luck in moving, and be sure to take more pics of spring in April, if you have the time
4. You sir are very lucky. There's more than 1 m of snow piled in front of my house. Nice pics BTW. The iPhone takes very impressive pics. Why are you leaving Okinawa? Where to next?
5. But, you've got to remember there were more than one Speeder Bikes in the movie, so it would be logical to include 2 speeders. Alien Conquest isn't based on a movie. Plus, I'd prefer one bigger vehicle than these two small ones we have.
6. Do you have to group your addition? In one of the other community builds, we had to group whatever we added.
7. That is a big baby boy you've gotten! Congratulations, and a speedy recovery to your wife
8. Oh, thanks for reposting those pics phoinix, as I haven't seen them before. I like what they did with the Podracers. The Technic lift arms look good, that is, if they are Technic lift arms
9. Wow! Very promising. The drivetrain looks very heavy duty
10. Very nice! I like the newspaper stand, and the park looks very alive. Can't wait to see your city come together
11. So Vader has a makeshift helmet and pegleg, whereas the Stormtrooper has a nice Pauldron and leg printing?
12. Awesome! I love every part of it. In other words, I'm not pointing out specifics
13. Cool. The car looks nice, but I'll reserve my judgment of the buildings for later.
14. Nice review. I think the tree could've been bigger for the price. The game is nice, but not for me.
15. Wow! I love the Flo Cafe. The new cars look great, and the structure isn't half bad. The UCS McQueen is alright, but as Oky said, a bit blocky.
16. For me this is just meh. I'm more looking forward to the Knight Bus.
17. Here we go: -The Licensed sets were the highlight of the year for me. TS and PoP were both amazing. HP was okay, as the sets and new part selection is great, but I'm not too fond. -SW was okay, but I've seen, much better years. Overall, lacklustre -Castle was really good. I too was getting sick of fantasy themes, so the two human factions was refreshing. -Action themes were okay too. The 2010 waves of both PM and SP were worse than the first waves, but they were still good. Atlantis was a nice theme, but I thought it lacked "soul," if you know what I mean. They were good sets, it's just that you can't really keep them together for long. World Racers was a great concept, but I think they could've advertised it better and put more thought into the sets. It's sad to see it go after one wave, as it would've been interesting to see more sets. -City was quite boring to be honest, save the Farm theme, which I would love to see continue. -Creator had some good sets, as always (especially the fighter jet) but unfortunately they went up in price for some odd reason. -I was sad to see Bionicle go, but Hero Factory is a somewhat suitable replacement. I think Lego needed to change the story, as kids these days like robots more than legendary/mythical plots All in all, 2010 was an imbalanced year IMO. Some sets (Licensed themes) were amazing, whereas the evergreen themes keep getting more and more <insert that tiresome argument> with humongous and redundant pieces, dragging down the piece count, and decreasing the build time.
18. That's what I thought too. I was actually expecting a bit more from the speculated prices, at least another speeder and Biker Scout.
19. At least the displays at TRU are right, but we're getting off topic
20. Wow! This design is one of the better 4-wide designs I've seen. I hate how Lego uses those oversized wheels for everything. I think these wheels are perfect
21. I've seen this before, and I've got to say, it's a cool concept, but I think Lego should do more to promote these renewable energy sets. BTW, that blade is available in LDD, just to let you know.
22. Waaaaiiiit.... So are they gonna start printing their helmets? If so, that's great news for me, as I'm the worst customizer in the history of Earth! Can't wait to see an explanation for this.
23. Happy birthday, Scouty McScouterson!
24. Awesome SNOT! How convenient that those arches perfectly fit those curved pieces, eh? Very innovative design. Great job
