Wow, this set is really lacking a baseplate. It is necessary IMO. It's just not the same without one. I like the second house the best, but the set overall is not good. And that sound brick is annoying. Much like my sister's old doll house

I think cottonwood's design is better, but it's still okay. The red building looks a bit weird IMO.

Excellent as always BD. As for the set, I have realized this set is well priced in USD. I can see why it's lasted so long. People like minifigs, and the price isn't too bad either. As for the model, it's a toy. What do you expect. They got the basic shape down, and it looks decent too. I really like this set. Sure, they can do better, but I like it nonetheless.

From what I can tell, it is a trans green piece with painted details. All the alien minifig parts are ABS, from what I heard.
