I'm glad many of you like it :) Ricecracker- there's nothing spectacular at the bottom of the column where it meets the ground, just normal brick-stud connections ImperialScouts- I thought about infecting some of the soldiers, but time was a constraint JimButcher- Almost the entire thing was bought on Bricklink, couldve cost me up to a grand. -Nannan

Good article, you got pretty much all the highlights. This would be very informative for those wanting to make a decision on which sets to get. For future considerations, it would be interesting to read about Bricklink/Ebay marketing values or collectability values. For me, this is half of what factors into buying a set. -Nannan

King's Castle Siege Black Friday sale!
Nannan replied to Bundalings's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm ambivalent about this set. While I've gotten 7 ISDs so far, I'm not sure if I want to pursue several Walmarts for a castle set. In case I do go to a Walmart, do I look for the set in the LEGO isle or the clearance areas? -Nannan -
This is the only City set I have purchased and assembled. I like it.

I keep wondering where you guys get these information lists on upcoming sets.

The strings are the most interesting part of this diorama, but I can't tell what they're supposed to be. I like your rocket smoke technique and the hooks on the Exploriens' helmets. The parachute is a fun concept as well. Some good stuff happening here -Nannan

Buy 2009 LEGO Pirates from S@H or Toys R Us
Nannan replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
The shipping will take 7-10 days by UPS. Up to $50 is $10 in shipping, and up to $100 is $13, and then $16 etc. I'm anxiously waiting for these sets. -
I've always wondered what percentage of Eurobricks members are in Europe and how many are in North America and the rest of the world. -Nannan

Yay, someone noticed noticed this; it was why I chose tan for the background. You nailed a bunch of other things too and I'm glad you enjoyed this MOC. -Nannan

Excellent review. Thanks for bringing the details on this hard-to obtain set. -Nannan

Very nice work, full of classic castle goodness. I like the landscaping and your incorporation of water elements and land features in a well built diorama. -Nannan

Half a day is usually a good measure.

Thanks everyone, always a pleasure to be a reliable source for your supply of darkness and despair. There'll be more coming. Make the wall out of 1X2 bricks and then bend it. It works.

Thanks for all your welcoming words, I'm pleased to share my works with this fine group. -Nannan

Building Massive droid army, Need more droids
Nannan replied to CloneMe's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Bricklink has a bunch of these droids. But if you're not a Bricklink user, I can help with the 35 or so droids that I have. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. -Nannan -
Hi all, Having just joined EB, I'd like to present my latest work as an introductory MOC. Here is the surrealist sculpture called the Legacy of Vision. Some of you may recognize it as similar to one of my earlier works, the Cry of Dream. Either way, there's plenty of gore to be shared by all. But if you're interested in more meaning behind the madness, you can visit either Flickr or MOCpages for more description. That's all I have for now, enjoy! :skull: -Nannan

Hello Eurobricks, I'm finally getting around to making an account and joining the forums. For those who don't know me, you can read a brief bio here. I'll try to stick around when I get a chance and share some of my works as well. I look forward to meeting some new personalities here. See you all around! -Nannan
