I actually kinda like the clayface set but there could've been a lot more effort put into the legs and I wish he had a hand but I fully expected at least one arm to have a stud shooter. I really don't get the point of that scarecrow set as it doesn't fit him at all. That set would make a lot more sense if it was riddler or joker in his place.

Well Batman will be in most of the sets so there definitely won't be a shortage of that torso.

That's kinda how I was thinking I could make it work but I'd probably still modify one of them. I was thinking maybe the LBM one could be the main building and the last one could be intensive treatment. I still wish the last one at least was more of a building and less of a facade, an amazingly detailed facade, but still. I like how the LBM one has so many villains in jumpsuits so even if the aren't captured I could still use them for generic inmates for Bats to beat up.

Dang, sorry to be such a nuisance and bring it so off topic. To discuss an actually confirmed set, does anyone think it would be possible to combine the new Arkham Asylum with the previous one? Cause the color disparity seems too drastic to me. I do think the set looks great but I wish it wouldn't have just been another facade of the front of the building.

I didn't want to ask but I cannot find it anywhere. EDIT: Nevermind I just found it. Pretty unimpressive actually and I can see why everyone doubts its legitimacy.

Since the battlepacks are for IV-VII its possible one will be a better first order battlepack. It would also be good if one has a shore trooper but who knows. The Vader transformation set should be good to get a new burned Anakin/Vader and possibly a medical droid or two. The lack of Rogue One sets is curious but I'm still betting on an AT-ACT set at least since they'd be stupid not to make it. I've always liked the hovertank from the only two Battlefront games (yes there is only two) and if it is the 2-M tank then I'm fine with that. Unless the other sets are amazing there a hard pass for me. I hope Ep VIII has many totally new vehicles so TLG won't have to resort to ships that blew up after a second of screentime again.

Any chance the Rogue One sets will be sold out by Saturday? Cause I really don't wanna wait but it would be worth it for the double points. EDIT: Just saw they're having double points on star wars sets for Force Friday so I'll order my Reychain now to make sure I get Revan and if the Rogue One sets are available in the morning I'll get them then.

Forgot October has double VIP points but will any Rogue One sets even be available on the first? I think I'll wait until then to order the At-ST and the Hovertank but I still want Revan so a keychain will have to do for now. Can anyone tell me if 5002123 is the code for Revan since when I added the Rey keychain to cart there are no pics?

I think the sets look good but, yeah, character choice is very odd. The best new character is by far Ms. Marvel and I can't wait to see her final design. Super-adaptoid is an out of nowhere choice since I had to look up who it was since I'd literally never heard of it before. Detroit Steel I only know from the video game cause I remember thinking he had a cool design there, but it barely stood out since like half of that game's cast were unrecognizable to me. Of course, this is partly because I mostly follow DC, but I knew most ofthe characters in the first marvel game. Ridiculous they chose Detroit Steel over Crimson Dynamo but they probably figured kids would be confused since then everything in that set would be mostly red.

My main point about having four different figures in the new battlepack is that with all the new variants (Death trooper, shore trooper, tank trooper) they could've easily had the BP include all 3 of them and a regular stormie or even had 2 stormies and forego the tank trooper since I doubt there is need for an army of them. I really liked the empire BP from this year as it had a great distribution of figures. Apparently no one else wants a bunch of officers or technicians but they are great to populate the Death Star, Star Destroyers, or even the Imperial Assault carriers and they're generic enough to fit in well enough with republic sets too. The FO BP was not great since it had an officer and an engineer who appears in multiple other sets and should've been replaced with a generic FO stormtrooper. Lastly, I, like others probably, want to army build Shore troopers since the seem to be used heavily in RO and getting three total out of a $70 set and most likely $60 set will help no one in doing that. I really only want maybe 8 or so Death Troopers, even though they look awesome, since they are an elite squad and shouldn't be as common as generic stormtroopers.

Unless there are a LOT more in the movie than we expect it is a poor decision on Lego's part. It's pointlessly ridiculous that it doesn't have a Shore Trooper or even an officer as we can always use more of them. It deserved having four different figures over the First Order BP which should've had at least 2 regular stormies.

Is that confirmed or is it speculation based on seeing that character in other toys? Cause if it is confirmed that yeah its obviously a RO set but besides that character it still seems likely that it could be a rebels set.

Surprised at how good the sets mostly look in the prelims (especially how few and poor the leaks the Super Hero themes got were). I like the new Phantom especially and hope it means a new Ghost later next year that can fit it and improves on the original. Only set I don't see myself getting is the Duel on Naboo unless it has some good new prints. It seems lego now wants to continually make $25 set of important scenes in a scale that makes it look ridiculous (considering this set and the Carbonite set this year). I also like Yoda's Eta-2 and the desert skiff and, like with the Phantom/Ghost, I hope for a new Sailbarge since I skipped the last one and I regret it. I like the landspeeder and I might get it since I missed the last few and the cantina and I've always liked it since the original was my first Lego set ever . I was hoping from more from the bunker but I can see it being a $60 set since it seems basically like the Maz's castle of the year (will get it for more Shore troopers, though, since they should've had 1 in the BP). I like the Y-wing a lot but are we sure it's supposed to be from Rogue One? I only ask because the one in the Rebels S3 premiere had room for two pilots like this one. This could also mean that the white wookiee could be a stand-in for a new-designed Zeb? I'm only speculating but it would make the Y-wing design make more sense since Rogue One is so soon before ANH that it would be weird for it to have changed design that quickly.

I'm surprised they haven't pushed more Inhuman characters in sets (besides Ms. Marvel) considering how Marvel is trying to use them to replace the X-men since they don't have they rights. Also, I forgot to say I REALLY like Cap's jet in that set and I hope it's got enough stickers to make it look even more like a bald eagle and even more AMERICAN than it already is!

It's a great perk at comic con to be able to stand in a line for a few hours to maybe get a figure. I wish they'd just have enough to give to everyone and have it be first come first serve. At least this year they only had 2 minifigs and the sets were useless so we only waited in two lines. Hope its like that next year too so we've got time for other stuff. Back on topic: It's good to see them get out a good portion of the ANAD Avengers (Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Sam Wilson Cap, Miles Morales, Vision, and Nova) before Marvel's newest relaunch but it doesn't give Lego much time before next year's inevitable relaunch. It's always good to get more comic based sets anyway since they will pretty much always give us new characters as opposed to movie-based sets which mostly consist of new outfits for old characters with a couple new characters if the source material allows it. Like, who would have thought we'd ever get figures of characters like Detroit Steel or Super Adaptoid? I certainly didn't (or want them honestly). Characters like these showing up just tells me that Lego will do ANYTHING to not make any new X-men characters.

Ah so in that case Cap most likely still won't have a separate piece for his cowl then. Is the consensus here that he'll just be in his AA outfit he's had for the past couple years? That's good about the Iron Man suit since I like that one and it's always good to get new suits if he's gonna be in so many sets. At the very least he'll go well with my SDCC Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers Captain Americas!

Sets look decent enough, but I got some questions that I'm not sure can be answered. Who is flying the jet in the captain america set? Is that Sam Wilson Cap in that set and if it is, why does he have the cowl piece Rogers has needed since 2012 but does not fit Sam at all? Also, what Iron Man suit is in the Detroit Steel set?

Also, I know I have seen any sets or anything, but they did have that Commissioner Gordon figure at SDCC on the screen among others. I'd be shocked if they'd omit such an important character that the already have a design for.
