Zeitenwende Sigfig: Jette Rotluchs, Daughter of Baron Von der Leye, Defender of Osnabrugge Deep in the fields of Westerland lies the City of Osnabrugge. Like many other cities and villages, the war years took its toll on population and wealth of this once rich merchant city and central point of trade between Karlomans and other nations. But a storm is rising. There are not only bandits and unemployed mercenaries rampaging and pillaging everything in reach, there are also tensions rising between nations. A company of heavy infantry, commanded by Bertram Blackbear ("Bloody Bert") is heading through the marchlands and threatening every city on the Carolean Pale. Baron Von der Leye, Mayor of Osnabrugge, is discussing options with the remains of his town council: Herr Rochus Rhinmetal, Great Master of the Guilds and Hildegard Mercerdes Benz, Lady of Castle Vitischanze. "Members of the High Council, there is dark danger approaching our beloved city - Bloody Bert and his men are coming and nobody will be save!" Master Rhinmetal: "Baron, horrible news! We won't be able to defend ourselves - we have no soldiers left!" Frau Benz: "But what about our town guard? Are there at least not some men left?" Well, I have assembled our military - and it doesn't look too good. "We have: -Karl, the Carpenter (with suffers from PTSD) -Siegried, the Farmer (which is expecting retirement in the next weeks) -Rolf, the Blacksmith (with a very pacifist attitude) -Rosalinde, the Zuber Maid (well, she is really dangerous..) -Dieter, our Troubadour (which can kill more men with his songs than with his sword) -Rudolf, the Nightwatch (with a serious drinking problem) -and Kunibert, the Commander of our Guard. That won't help. We need a new army or at least a militia! Therefore I talked to my daughter Jette. She is an experienced hunter and I can tell you that she knows how to fight. Lady Hildegard: "I am not sure. She is a lady. By the way, where is she know?" Baron Von der Leye: "Well, Frau Benz, she is hunting in the woods with my nephew Ottokar. Lady Hildegard: "Isn't that too dangerous? During these dangerous times?" Baron Von der Leye: "No problem, she has the cats with her." Lady Hildegard: "Cats? I would prefer some really huge dogs..." Baron Von der Leye: "Na, thats ok. They are big cats I brought from my travels abroad. Jette is calling them Lynx, Leopard I and Leopard II. " Master Rhinmetal: "Interesting names. They somehow inspiring me...." Baron Von der Leye: "Under your agreement, I would proceed and tell Jette to rebuild our military! (Yellow colours are coming.....)

41c was finally attacked and overrun by galactic Pirates. All of the crew members died, were captured or sold to traveling alien armadas for lunch or entertainment. Here are some of the tragic fates : Lunchtime! The Pirates are using 41c to hide their enourmos treasure of Goldtitanium: ... and to party in between the raids: They ripped of the old landing pad and installed an 200 mt Fusion Cannon "Singing Elfriede" from an old Imperial Dreadnought. They are sending fake distress signals and if a spaceship responds to, it will be shoot down... Capt'n Redbeard on the bridge... Elfriede is reloaded. 2 Pete "NoNeck" is transporting ammo to feed Elfriede - which is a hungry beast... For close combat, a Friz Gun was put on the jet coaster:

Space Station 41c. An older modell if the standard space station, but still in good shape. It was a slow solar day at 41c. Nothing seems to disturb the daily routines. The Fusion reactor ran smoothly, radiation levels like usual. Alpha Black One with the ExoUnit taking out the trash. Blue One having a short nap... Orange One enjoying the old transportation system... (Choo-Choo..) Nobody expected the terror of violence, unlawfullness and unlimited creativity that would hit 41c in the next rotation - be prepared!

Hello! I'm fine with entering a piratefied space station as Cat C, though I think if you take 21322 as an example, a wrecked spacestation would also be applicable for Cat B. So its ok to post the Space Station before the arrival of the pirates as WIP? " The original set must be recognizable, with key features, shapes or functionnalities for example" In my opinion this puts a too strong restriction on the creativity. Does that include a piece count? Most islands and outposts in the classic series have just 100-300 parts... I interpreted Cat B to built a MOC as to take the idea óf a classic pirate set (a pirate hideout, a pirate or imperial battleship, etc.) and transfer it into a space theme. Taking 10210 for example: Key features: A propulsion system (sails) - ok, Solar sails, I got it. 4-8 Cannons - no problem. A bridge, a lookout, a kitchen, Captains Room - also no problem Shape: A spaceship can't have the shape of a sail ship if, by any means this moc should make sense at all. Big problem. Functionnality: Firing Cannons, Anchor whinch, crane, Decks can be opened. Somehow solveable. So if I fullfill 1) and 3) but fail at 2) - would this be within the rules?

Gentlemen, my plan is to build a modern version of a ground space station like 6970 and then to "piratify" it (think of 6253). So I just finished the space station - showing a standard space station, peaceful and stylish. They just don't know what will happen ... My question - can I post this moc as a) seperate MOC with its own topic in the space forum outside this competition b) start a [SPC-Cat B] - Topic as a WIP Moc - but with expected numerous modifications after the pirates arrived c) Don't show it at all....

Thx a lot. You are right, 90 degrees would be better - but the changes in construction for that detail would be enormous, so I skipped it... ;-)
