True. It is even smaller than the Naboo Fighter, but the Naboo N-1 Starfighter came with a Vulture Droid and was only like $30, what's going on with those prices..it looks like a great set but the price is just too high.

General Magma replied to samthelegoman1's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Two 7979 LEGO Castle Advent Calendars, Power Miners Mine Mech and Stone Chopper. Not much but we have another holiday in the month December in my country, from that I got the Jawa Sandcrawler, Troll Attack Ship, Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase, hunt for the stolen treasure (Indy), three Impulse Troll sets, a Matoran, and a small basketball set. -

You mean Even Piel? That little pink guy? -

Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, Eeth Koth, Saessee Tiin, Yarael Poof, Shaak Ti, Quinlan Vos, Barris Offee, Coleman Trebor, Adi Gallia, Agen Kolar, Stass Ali, and Even Piel. I really want to see them being released in minifig-form! -
Hey, yeah! I once did that too. Let's build the Millenium-Falcon-in-bag! That would be a real challenge, but is impossible since there are lots of bags and you can't put the parts of the ship all together.

Ok. Thanks! Now I know what to get for my birthday.

I only know about the chain, I've never saw that head and torso before and I dunno in which set the orange pieces are from. The brown chain is from the Rock Raiders Loader Dozer, HQ (I think) and also the Chrome Crusher. (I can know cause I have the Dozer and the Crusher myself. )

Review: 8956 Power Miners ~ Stone Chopper
General Magma replied to Derek's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It doesn't have to be, it's a nice little set - cuts through stone (including Rockmonsters ), I have this set myself and got it for EUR 5,49, not bad for 2 minifigs, a nice little vehicle and a red crystal. I got this set together with the 8957 Mining Mech, and it's possible that it costs a bit too much cause of the printed backs and reversible heads, that costs a little more for TLC to make. -
Someone, please help me out! I am really confused..next year I have more than $400 to spend on LEGO, and I can choose: The 10188 Death Star Playset, or lots of Clone Wars sets. (Also many battlepacks) I really don't know what to do..what should I do..?
-
Oh ok, thanks! Didn't saw that topic before. Guess my eyes didn't want me to see that.. P.S. I now declare page 152, opened!
-
Is it not allowed to post that in here, then? And Bricklanta, I've heard they are somewhere in the U.S...I dunno much about it since I live in the Netherlands. Someone got the Clone battlepack already!
-
What?! Did that..thing..won?! By the way, I'm not really a collector..I buy stuff mostly for the play-ability - and I want a big army! And I will not spend everything of the money on next year's CW first wave. Unless the second wave of 2009 is really worse..but I think it will not be!
-
Aargh! Help me! I'm failing to choose which set to take for my birthday..spending more than $400 on LEGO Clone Wars or buying the Death Star 10188 Playset, hmm..could somebody help me out? I dunno what it is, but I'm really confused.. Those Clone Wars sets look awesome, the Death Star too, of course, but imagine that big army I could get by spending $400 on Clone Wars, including lots of B'Packs.. And finally, a new Count Dooku minifig! When I get that set I can get rid of my custom (yellow) Dooku.

Review: 8961 Power Miners ~ Crystal Sweeper
General Magma replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ok, thanks for answering my question. Oh and, does that mean big technic pieces only, or also non-technic? *Walks back into the world of On-topic again* Is it possible to "sweep" the crystals without moving around the vehicle? Sweeping crystals very close to a wall would be a bit hard cause you might hit the rock-wall, I guess. -

OFF-TOPIC.. Hey, what's all that about <insert that tiresome argument> sets? I saw many people on EB talking about sets being <insert that tiresome argument>.. -
They look nice, but I have a question: are they just magnets or also like normal minifigs? What's different about the magnet versions of minifigs? I know that they are like magnets, but not sure what else is different 'bout it.. Just wanted to know before buying them. EDIT: NVM only read the first post..

Ideas for Future Indiana Jones Sets
General Magma replied to Flatfoot Thompsen's topic in LEGO Licensed
I would like to see a set with the circus train, with the following... Enough train-rails to play the scene in the movie, a pretty long train, minifigs: young Indy, that other guy that helped Indy, Fedora, and about 5 of those guys with guns. It would be nice if the train has an interior, many crates, some water with planks next to it so you can rotate so Indy can get over the water, and a room with a cage and the lion. (Like in the videogame). The price is for TLC to decide, if they will ever make it. -
Now I also try to find out what work which miner does. Power Miners from sets 8956, 8957, 8958, 8959, 8960, and 8961. I believe the one from 8956 does all the drilling stuff..but I still can't figure out the others..In 8957, the miner has a small stick-looking thing as icon on his torso.. 8959 might be the dynamite expert.. Anyone who knows about which work all Power miners do?
-
Hello all! Yesterday I bought two nice little Power Miner sets, and I noticed both of the miner minifigs to have a strange little icon on their back, and a smaller one of the same on the front. I'd like to know more about this, it might be something about what the miners do in the crew, for example - one is the drilling expert, the other is the expert in dynamite and bombs....but I don't know which icons are what, and together we all could find out stuff about it, to know a little more about the Power Miners crew..not much is known about the miners, since the monsters only are featured on the PM website. My webcam makes a bit blurry-looking pictures, so could someone post a picture of a Miners' torso? I hope to find out more about it. P.S. This is my first topic on EB.

Review: 8961 Power Miners ~ Crystal Sweeper
General Magma replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great review! I thought the same too, before..I thought "These will not get into my house!" but when they came out..it became one of my favorite lines. They are awesome, I own the 8956 and 8957 myself, and I'd like to have all sets next year. Hmm I hope someone posts a topic about the little drawings on the clothes, some kind of ranks I think, also when you look at the back, for example that "Drilling Expert", explaining what they do for the crew I think. They are on the minifigs torso (set 8956 has a drilling icon I think, not sure about the others..which would be the chief?). Luckily they (the sets) are very cheap in my country! The Crystal Sweeper only costs EUR 53,99 here. -
My EB name is my own Clonetrooper General name, so I put in General and I was thinking about lava..Magma! I'm thinking of making a sigfig once..

Will this be in the Netherlands too?
