Great review! I'm going to buy all sets of Pirates in 2009, I can't wait..it comes here in my country in January-March..and I get them for my birthday in May..so a longer wait than normal!! I think they, sadly, will never add them to the new line.. I have both Redbeard and Broadside, Broadside will keep being the Admiral of the Imperials, but not sure if I'm going to add Redbeard..and if I do I'll also need Redbeards pirate ship which I don't want to buy

Great review! I'm going to get 2 of this set next year, one for a small island with a buried treasure (I know how to let it look like you could dig up the treasure, it's easy..) and the other one to build the real thing.

Offtopic: Are you gonna eat them? No no no, as long as we live on the planet Earth, we are not going to eat Lego. Ontopic: I'd like to see a review of every set of the new Pirates line..anyone here who has Kraken Attack, and Cannon battle? I hope to see reviews of all the other new pirate sets as soon as possible! Also, I heard someone got the Brickbeard Bounty and is going to take some picts of it. I can't say if he was going to make a review of it, but we will see..

Wow..they look, and ARE, great! I might get them all for my birthday. When I saw this I kicked the 10188 Death Star OUT of the way, cause if I bought the Death Star I knew I wouldn't be able to also get the Pirate sets! By the way, Shipwreck Hideout comes with a Skeleton-Pirate minifig! That's so awesome! Sadly none of the sets come with a big blue baseplate to use it as water..

How much do you have to pay for shipping costs? I guess it would be alot since you live on The Northpole.

LOL. It would be funny to see Palpatine falling into Episode IV. Then you see Leia and Luke standing there and some Stormies on the other side, then Palpatine falls down there and falls of the screen.

Hey, I'm new here! I didn't know it was allowed that there were multiple of the same reviews here on Eurobricks... Nice review by the way. I think I'm not going to buy this set since it's too expensive.. The price is $62 at S@H + shipping costs is around $68

If this set's price increases, I will not buy this set. I was already going to buy the 10188 Death Star and maybe this, but if the price increases, this set can say bye bye..

Now let's see... A Stormtrooper BP costs $12, and comes with 3 Stormtroopers, 1 Shadow trooper. I will only count the Stormtroopers, if you get 10 BP's you have 30 Stormtroopers, buying 100 BP's you get 300 Stormtroopers. If you want to make a Division, then 300 Stormies are not enough yet...let's see, 1000 BP's = 3000 Stormtroopers and like KimT said you will need 6000 Stormtroopers. So you'll have to buy 2000 Stormtrooper Battlepacks if you want to make that division. And you will also have loads of Dropships then.. but you should be extremely rich if you want to get that.. 20 BP's cost $240, so 2000 BP's cost $24000..

Commander Fox, commander Cody and 2 Regular Clonetroopers... Maybe, I SAID MAYBE- I'll get the AT-TE in 2 months. But I'm not sure since I'm also getting the Sandcrawler and 2 Y-Wings... Next year there are coming BP's but THEN I buy the Death Star (10188) and I think I won't have enough money to buy the Medieval Market Village AND some Clone BP's...but we'll see..

Hello there! My name is General Magma, I heard of this site a looong time ago, a few days ago I decided to make an account. It's not the first forum where I have an account. I'm a HUGE fan of Star Wars AND LEGO Star Wars, I'm from the Netherlands, I'm a male LEGO Fan.. And I hope I'll have a good time here.

They don't have it here in the Netherlands but if I ever want to buy this set I can get it from S@H.

I think they are already selling it in the U.S.A, but I'm not sure since I live in the Netherlands. But here they already have the TX-30S Republic Fighter Tank. Maybe try to find it in Toys'R'us?

I'm getting this set around July next year. It LOOKS AMAZING, I want to see everything you can do with it, the elevator, the collapsing catwalk, the trashcompactor, and that thing (forgot the name of it..) were Emperor Palpatine fell in..can you really put a minifig into that hole in the throneroom?

No, LEGO doesn't sell them, they are only for display in stores, etc..

Wow! That's a very big store! Even the Millenium Falcon is there, and the Taj Mahal and and....everything! EVERYTHING! Sadly I can't go there since I live in the NETHERLANDS, here they also have a LEGO Store but it doesn't have every LEGO Set there, but the sets are cheap here, a few months ago they still had a thing to fill a bag with LEGO Bricks for only 5 Euro. Sadly they took it away when I came there to buy some bricks, but I was lucky they still let' me fill a bag with 4x4 black plates and a bag with 1x4 gray bricks.
