General Magma

The hood is not much higher, and the thing in the background looks like it's almost an entire minifig head taller! It's just strange how it is much taller than another minifig while it's standing behind that minifig. It's possible to get him but it could easily just be part of the background... I would really like to have a Garindan minifig, it just doesn't look like him to me, but it's black, so for 50% I am thinking that he might be it, but for the other 50% I am thinking that it more likely may not be him... But we'll see soon, hopefully! ~General Magma EDIT: Oh, and by the way, I can see flesh on it, and Garindan is not a light-flesh being, right?

That looks pretty good, it can maybe use some work but other than that it looks nice! I also like how you added the two droids. In the movie (ep4) I always found it funny how R2 and C-3PO just walked through the blaster bolts without being hit... If only I had a chrome gold 3PO! ~General Magma

Are you sure that's not just part of the background? It would be a strange choice of TLC to just hide it while it may higher the amount of sets that will be bought... But I definately am looking forward to what it really is, and if it is Garindan or a Bantha it is sure that I will buy that set! ~General Magma

Did Kit Fisto ever fly together with Obi-Wan in a starfighter? (pointing at the Hyperdrive Booster Ring with Jedi Starfighter set) Kit Fisto being there means nothing, really, it is possible that it is an epIII set, the pilots are from epIII - otherwise they would have thrown in some CW pilots... They sometimes just throw in random minifigs to get the fans excited about it or for increasing the price. ~General Magma

I am not sure aswell but it does look a lot like it, and I remember seeing strange yellow/light-orange circles on the planet from above, and if you look above the R2 unit you can see a bit of that...that could be anything but it is possible that it might be Coruscant. ~General Magma

Yes, it really looks like it says 'Captain Jag', who only appeared in Ep.III - that makes me think that this is ment to be an episode three set, it's also not the sort of clone pilots that appeared in the Clone Wars... Even though the box has the Clone Wars design, the midiscale MF had that too and was 100% OT... I hope this set will not be too overpriced at all, I may even buy two to make a small fleet then... And the R2 unit is definately dark green! (if only it was the old R2 design...) ~General Magma EDIT: And once again, I got something to say 'gain! If you look at the planet the ARC-170 is flying above, it looks alot like CORUSCANT!!! ARC-170s appeared in the Battle of Coruscant in Ep.3 and to me that planet looks like Coruscant...

How about Clone Pilot? There's a possibility that it may be different as the helmets look slightly different...if only we could zoom in alot more... ~General Magma Edit:I just zoomed in a bit (resulted in a very blurry picture...) and found out that the R2 unit may possibly be green, and one of the pilots has 2 words under them, with the left pilot looking like he's named, just like filip skywalker said, Captain Jag. The first word definately looks like "captain", the second may be Jag but I am not sure as it could be "Bob" too... By the way, is the ARC-170 actually Clone Wars? Because they have the ep3 pilots being alot different from the CW pilots... That puts me into the doubts...

Sounds nice...I wonder how he will look like, and I do really hope that he's very poseable... but I'm not expecting much of that however... ~General Magma

Are you sure that's a new Astromech droid? I'm almost sure that it is R2 with a new dome... However, it looks a little like dark-blue, or even dark-green... I can't really tell what Astro it is, but time can! I personally hope that it's not R2-D2, the old R2-D2 was the best of all R2-D2 versions and I already have five... by the way, didn't they do a new dome and then another new dome last few times? @Burman: So that means no real visor? ~General Magma

The PM set was known already but now you can zoom in on it, the new lava monster looks good! New pilot helmets! Looks like we are just getting the old Kit Fisto which I already have. Oh well, one of the two will donate their robes to a custom Jedi. I think we can even use that ARC-170 as one from EP3, it does have those pilots in it! I'll make sure not to miss out on this one. Thanks for sharing it with us! ~General Magma

Wish I could be there... But for example, you buy two large sets with its price being around $149,99 [together that would be $299,99] you only have to pay one? If so, I wish I could get to there... oh well some good deals for the people who do live there. ~General Magma

Wait, I don't get it, really.. Vader gets killed? But how did he appear in EP IV, V and VI? And how about Obi and Luke? And Boba Fett? Are they cloned or something? Mm... let me think of some ideas... I would like to see some blue coats. The red coats should have their own, large ship, and some add-ons for the Soldier Fortress set. For the blue coats TLC maybe can release a smaller base, with a row boat and a new governor or admiral minifig for them. For the pirates, I would like to see some NEW pirates with new pirate heads and such, so there is more variation between the minifigs, aswell as pirates with peglegs and one hand replaced by a hook [in GREY please, not in gold, as grey is much more realistic] Possibly there could also be new islanders similair to the old ones, with their own island. If not an islander island, then one very big island, surrounded with a beach on blue baseplates, lots of palm trees, plants, with the island being made mostly of many pieces, not a one-mold piece. Maybe they can add a play feature with a treasure on the island, with pirates really being able to dig up the treasure, and for later re-playing that, adding all the pieces back to make a small pile of sand with a treasure-chest under it waiting to get dug up again...

I hope it's ok to bump up this thread, anyways it's august already but we still have no 2010 set news. I seriously am waiting a long time to see the 2010 sets, but there are no leaked pictures yet... To me it is and always will be Redbeard. I grew up knowing him as Captain Redbeard, and Captain Roger doesn't sound nearly as good as Captain Redbeard. And yes, Redbeard is such an awesome name. So again, it's Redbeard to me! -General Magma
