Which set has the most number of stickers
General Magma replied to lisqr's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't know which set has the most amount of stickers, but one of them is definately this one with 46 stickers. ~ General Magma -
Here's my top 3: 1. Boba Fett 2. Bossk 3. Cad Bane I would have liked to put General Grievous in the top 3 aswell, he looks great, but I just hate it that they failed AGAIN to make him greatly poseable. The neck/head and the legs may be poseable, but his arms can only go in one direction and his second pair of arms are attached to the first pair, which makes the poseability less good than expected. I will only get him if someone does an amazing mod without customizing parts, just the use of existing parts. Anyways, these three Bounties are my favorites in order. Boba Fett's helmet is detailed and looks cool, I don't care about the sand blue; just replace it by sand green! Bossk has a very nicely detailed face, and is very accurate. The sand green skin is great, not very accurate following the movies but in many cases he was green, and the sand green just looks better than dark tan. It's more reptile-like. Then finally, Cad Bane; detailed face, nice tubes, and a great new hat! One of the reasons for Boba Fett being #1 to me, is that he's my favorite Bounty Hunter in general too. ~ General Magma

Now immediately quit showing me pics of more and more stuff! Where am I ever going to get money for the collectible minifigs, the magnet sets and some 2010 sets? Well I'll be able to get them, just not in once.. The magnet sets are of the good quality, am I right? Must be. This is a great way to stock up on Rodians, and customizers can customize them to their own likings for not too much money, if they want. And we can get cheap Ewoks and Scout Troopers, too! Great stuff. Thanks for the pics. (although I said that you guys had to quit showing them to me. Oh well, I would have found out about them sooner or later already so I've changed my mind; show me more! ) ~ General Magma

Anybody up for a duel? Also note, that we'll need an active adjudicator, not someone suddenly going offline. ~ General Magma

Those look really good! Now you should make the A-Team van to make it complete. ~ General Magma

Tomorrow, then. I'll PM you by the time I can play and when we're both online. ~ General Magma

Good luck, Kike Argetlam... but I'll try my best to strike you down, if not the other way round. ~ General Magma EDIT: I hope we can finish this as fast as possible, I don't think I have much time left before I gotta go...

HOLY CRAP! This is amazing! Grievous also looks cool and very detailed! I see you can finally lower/higher the neck/head so he can look down to a Jedi..and kill him! Slave I tops my list, just need to check the price for my country, then comes GG's starfighter, I have the old one but I just buy it for the minifigs, no matter the cost! BUT I JUST LOVE THAT NEW GRIEVOUS! ~ General Magma

Now, is anybody willing to duel me? ~ General Magma

Darth Magma is ready... Count me in! ~ General Magma -
Isn't that an older pic? Bossk has a dark tan head but green hands, in the video it's the other way round. Plus Boba still has the normal green colors there. I guess we'll have to wait a few days again to see pics from the other Toyfair, hopefully we can then see the finished design. ~ General Magma
-
Sand green would be good, yes. I would like both colors as long as it's not lime or something like that. In the movies he had a more dark-tan skin, sometimes he also had a sand-greenish skin. And in the Clone Wars his skin was very green.. I'm looking forward to seeing his face in a close-up and the final color. @Tilius: Maybe you think that, but it never was my aim to start an argument, so could we finally leave it behind us now? ~ General Magma

I don't think that's a handle, but it could be, I just don't think it's likely, that looks more like that long technic piece with holes on the sides. I think a handle isn't made out of that on the AT-TE and AT-OT, or is it? The trooper on the right of that pic seems to have the ARC-trooper gear. I can also spot a storage thing inside. Is there any chance that Bossk's head color could change? When I zoom in I see dark tan hands, but the head is green, so I suppose it could change? Maybe.. Here's a blurry pic of it: @Tilius: Just cool down for once..grmph.. ~ General Magma

Actually, I only said it gave people the opportunity to do so. Again, I never said that the TLG made it so people could do that - I guess they don't even think about it, I only said that people could use it for MOCs. You said that it was rumored for this year. Sure, I am the one who wants an argument? Then who's the person who said that we'd better quit this? I don't say it another time again - let's just stop this before it turns into a war and we both get kicked out. Now back to the discussion outside this: I think it's a handle to pick it up with your hand just like the Venator had, but maybe you could be right if we will see the LAAT/c carrying a CTT. I don't think so though, as the CTT is fast enough to go by itself. (Walkers aren't fast so if they need to be transported quick the LAAT/c comes in, but the CTT is a wheeled vehicle.) ~ General Magma

"Oh, I'm sorry for walking through my own house" Lol On a side note, do I see a heavily-chewed-on walky talky right there in frame 4? ~ General Magma

That's very funny, and I get it! LEGO isn't soft like a real pillow and for a minifig it's very, very painful, especially when hit in the face... ~ General Magma
-
I never said they did it so people can make MOCs, it gives people the opportunity to do so, and maybe you have the old carbonite Han, I don't know, but it was horrible. A new 3D Han in carbonite is much, and much better, and not everybody has the old one. The Cloud City set is rumored for next year. It hasn't even been confirmed yet. And not everyone may be able to get it, so if they can get the Slave I and build a freezing chamber themselves, then the carbonite Han is useful for them. And when I said "TLG can re-use it later", I was referring to a Cloud City set. There's no need for a discussion about this, so let's just end it. ~ General Magma
-
Yeah, it had that color on the prelim. box, so I'm really hoping that he gets the right color.. Other than that, has anybody else seen that Boba Fett's helmet is sand green? That's more accurate to the movies, and looks better than the normal green colors of the old Boba Fett (in my opinion). First I thought the Slave I had stickers, like there were on the front of the AAT set from last year, but it doesn't look like it anymore, though maybe there are two on the front. Lowest part of the ship, on the green parts. Maybe it's a printed piece? ~ General Magma
-
No. It adds an extra minifig to the set plus it gives people the opportunity to MOC their own freezing chamber or something else for Cloud City scenes, and TLG can re-use it later. I just hope there's something to cover the back of the Carbonite block, otherwise you could either see Han in it or a big, empty space. I'm just disappointed with Bossk being green, but as long as it's close to the dark-tan color I'm fine with it. Now I see the video, I want that Slave I even more! It's amazing, can't wait to get it.. ~ General Magma

Power miners... ending!?
General Magma replied to Omicron Squad Leader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yes, that's right. This year was probably their last year, so it's likely that we won't see any more new sets in 2011. The only sets shown at the Toyfair were the ones already released, this is probably the last year for many other themes too. If you are a fan of Power Miners and don't have all sets you want already, then I do recommend to get them before they're gone. Also, welcome to Eurobricks! ~ General Magma -
I never said I didn't like it. The Wampa looks great but it kind of looked like preliminary with the eyes. Aayla's headgear isn't printed aswell. @baby's pic: Wow, that Slave I looks great! Would have been better with regular brown though, but I don't care, I don't own the original one so I can't replace the colors, but I'm fine with it as it is an amazing ship. I just hope Bossk won't end up having that green head, rather the yellow-brownish color (whatever it is called). The Slave I tops my "buy-list" for 2010 now, I really need that Boba. And is it me or does it look like his helmet is rounded on top? If so, he would fit nicely next to my custom Mandalorian! He also appears to have sand blue legs. I can spot grey clonetrooper gear for the helmet, so it's very likely that he will have holes in his helmet. I think Han is in that set because you can put him in the Carbonite mold, that's a nice feature. Another nice detail in the set that I have seen in the older pics, is that two of the pieces on the back are in red, just like the real thing. I'm so looking forward to this set! @Jammiedodger: That's a V-Wing pilot, isn't it? ~ General Magma
-
Thanks for the pics! I'm sure the Wampa is the preliminary one again, same for Aayla. I think Grievous is tan, isn't he? Well, he should of been a bit more white, but I think that's fixable.. but there are NO pics of him?! Oh well, I gotta wait, then. The doctor droid has a printed angled piece, but I was hoping for a new mold. It's still fine, though, new molds make it all cost more.. Boba Fett looks great from what I can see so far! ~ General Magma
