So interesting this topic ! I am 32 years old. just started buy Lego 2 years ago. I spent almost $10,000 only 2 years, mostly in last few months, to become a serious Lego collector So, My wife and parents , of course, criticize me, discouraged me.... I am too old bla bla bla. only my beloved child, 3 years.... so happy, have so many Lego in early ages The point is : If you hard working guys, spent so many times to working, why we can choose some hobbies to control us more productive? Hide over stress, for me : Lego is perfect hobby. After 2 years, my responsible job not slow down, but getting higher, my financial slightly bad..... but if you really know that Lego will be good asset or investment in next years, you should be happy, spent so much money for Lego, if you compared spent wasting money for expensive dinner, bla bla bla. We MUST be happy with Lego in our life.

I voted Indiana Jones as the best new theme. Totally shocked, so many Indy sets now all looks fantastic, but quite expensive For overall set, I voted castle 2008, I am the big fan of castle, why I am not choose my favorite theme as the best Dwarfs mine.... unforgettable, if you looking fact maybe TLC not produce anymore dwarfs in upcoming set tower raid also fantastic, worthed every penny and the masterpiece : Giant castle chess...... speechless :thumbup:

Just order some parts from bricklink. @Loganwan, Yes, I will MOC all supercars , will add motors and make any changes that required .... so busy and challenging. Hopefully, I find some information in this forum, to make it real works

OMG, I shocked see the brilliant pictures. Definetely, all must BUY. TLC heard us, no sticker, printed legs, shako, and backtorso... awesome color for boat, plume, raised base plate, bandanas... Hopefully will arrive in my country soonest, with touchable prices. Even little bit pricey, as a serious collector, you just have 2 choices : BUY or have a terrible dream day to day.

yes, I believe it, and hopefully the Market Village will arrive in BW with fantastic price too and we will get 5sets at least I lived in Jakarta, but many friends easy come easy go... jakarta-singapore-jakarta and so-on, I already got 3 sets Giant Chess. I think, so many useful parts to build giant castle not only chess-display, and 33 minifigs inside, with total cost = $650 approx, you got 7000+useful parts and 99 minifigs. Unbelievable

Great review... 7036 for me, is the best castle set in 2008. yes, You should buy more than 1, to get better... 4 sets will be completed as bigger dwarves mine. I am lucky, bought several sets to collect the special minifigs wih outstanding price, ($52, after disc) and very happy with TLC, they gave us 7 unique minifigs in medium castle sets (only 500+parts, thats why I noted as medium set) Fantastic !

My troll army My updated army : 332+ knights will be 450+ knights after I bought 25 battle packs 128+ black skellies, with 14+special bishops and boss 80+orcs will be 140+orcs with 20 giant trolls after I bought several sets 60+ dwarves (not posting yet) and will more and more after join eurobricks to gain new experience and challenge. so, please help....

Hi, In my opinion, 7048 much better than 7029. I bought 7048 total 7 sets, to collect minifigs only ( 7 x 9= 63pcs). I really love with Orc-Boss, and orc-shields ( the best shield-ever!). But, the design ship-itself is poor, below average, if you compare with pirates ship.. so, I voted average, minifigs are excellent, ship are poor design, and price in my country normally $110, I got it 35%off, and dealing with my friends 50:50, I got all minifigs,weapons,and shield for $36 only. WOW.

i want these : an orc castle - with dark green base colors or dark brown, that will be fantastic additional for castle 2008. no dwarves anymore - it means, only dwarves mine. the unique of dwarves must be kept. and finally to complete fantasy era, of course an elves.... with wonderful bow.... and lets dreaming castle 2009 will be better and of course "nightmare for wallet" 10193 medieval market village.... fantastic opening clue for the next castle
