  1. YUP! Depends on how many JimB wants on this trip. Sign up & see!
  2. Each battle # is worth that many points. 1st = 1, 2nd = 2 so 2 complete battles is 3, so it's 1+2+3+4+5+6.... So an Alchemist, Mystic Knight, Archmage, Minstrel and Dragoon walk into a bar...
  3. "I have a few items you can borrow for your experiment. A shield I just picked up, a halberd and a spear. I am not using them a probably won't, at least for the time being." Torc lifted her head slightly and eyed Guts at the mention of Shadeaux.
  4. "You were phenomenal last time we went, and I would be glad to have you again. How is that Titan's mace treating you?"
  5. Hoke chuckles at the alchemist's constant barbs. "What did you post on the board over there?"
  6. Yes. I'd like to go as long till a quest with house rep/really good reward comes along. I just wanted a minimum of 5, but am willing to stay much longer if no other quests come up. If a PC has 0 GP it will take 22 successful battles to earn one with 3 GP left over.
  7. Hoke & Nerwen are signed up... *cough*ZEPHER*cough* I only speak of which I know.
  8. I know the group I was went spent months on our trip. The Fields are great for leveling - lots of battles and rewards. There's a trade off then. You can choose to roleplay, or you can choose to sacrifice roleplay for probably the length of 1 quest to earn MoG in order to level faster. Not seeing the big/unfair deal.
  9. Those who do the work/put in the time get rewarded.
  10. All of my scenes in quest 20 were made of close ups. Didn't require huge sets:
  11. "By all means my Lady Nerwen! I have ventured there once before, where my mates and I slayed the Kraken and the Titan. There is adventure and riches to be had for sure, all while surrounded by nature's beauty. There seems to be an endless supply of foul creatures at every turn however. I heard a rumor that since the original guardians were vanquished that new monstrosity roam the fields..." Hoke reclines in his chair as Torc climbs onto his lap. She is getting too big for this, the size of a wolf by now. He didn't seem to mind as he gently strokes her scales. "Your musical skills are fantastical! Mind playing a light tune as we sit by the fire?"
  12. Like I said, depends on the build. Not everyone can quest with Pretzel, and I would argue the Soul Link chain is OP AND requires a slot from another PC. Plus, at our level, a body, hand and foot artefacts are probably much better together than a SP 10. Wanting a Pie quest for Marauder. And I think I have yet to make it on a CMP quest... Done it before, would like to do it again, but probably not anytime soon. You never know though.
  13. I believe PC level advancement is fine as is and made better if a PC would take the time for a decent Fields run for a Medal of Glory.
  14. Eh, eye of the beholder/PC build I guess. It may be an advantage to some PCs, but with better artefacts and more slots becoming available, it loses it's value at high level PCs. Plus I haven't seen too many enemies that de-equip PCs.
  15. That's what I figured. Thanks.
  16. But the description says it takes the Body, Foot & Hand slots. Why not just make it a single artefact that takes up one slot? What's the benefit of a single artefact that takes up 3 slots?
  17. What is the advantage of an artefact that takes up 3 of 6 slots, but only counts as 1 artefact?
  18. Already answered that: I would have had the quest READY before it started. It's not a complicated concept. I am not taking it seriously, just providing a critique which I already PM'd Em about & he agreed. Maybe you shouldn't be so sensitive?
  19. Cop out to me. Putting a little more thought/effort is fixing it, not cutting your losses and giving up. He said there were more battles and loot, what PC doesn't like more battles and loot?
  20. The quest actually ready/thought out/planned. Not being mean/hateful (it REALLY is just a game), but, let's face it, it was, admittedly by Emja, a not ready/poorly planned quest, that there was not attempt to fix. I would say in LDD, don't worry about making huge sets. The body in the alleyway would have been fine if it was a close-up of just the body and the wall it was leaning up against. If sets aren't ready, a nice description and pictures of the NPCs as the speak would have done just fine. Story/Content wins over anything else every time. Also, when designing loot, don't make things over complicated/'fancy'. Nothing wrong with a nice ~10 WP weapon with a decent effect/element or an artefact with decent SP or an immunity. Having weapons with a chance to deal an effect just adds more rolls for other QMs. And what was the thought about Barus's armor?
  21. Did you even actually read the quest? Those NPCs were not fleshed out at all and direction from the QM was nil. Like I said earlier, clunky, cluttered and unplanned/winged. As a PC, I think it was disrespectful. "Hey guys, I picked you for a quest that isn't even done yet or well thought out."
  22. It was getting better when Emo was actually updating. I understand the embarrassment of the smith, but that's beans really. All the stuff he listed that he had planned could've made up for that, but again, it didn't sound like he was really prepared.
  23. Because it felt clunky, cluttered and unplanned/winged. If you're going to QM a quest, have the quest ready to be played BEFORE it starts. Plus there was a lack of QM participation for awhile there. It was a frustrating experience, that could have been made right.
  24. Well if you had it really planned/mapped out, you should have let us play it.
