  1. Hoke is thankfully glad for Vipera. He winks at the small dragon and rushes the Zoot beast again. Zoot, front row.
  2. The Party: Tarn Valco, Level 11.5 Barbarian, 21 year old human male ***PARTY LEADER*** Power: 21 Health: 15/18 Gold: 50 Inventory: Kyrferath, a Battle Axe (WP: 10, Water Elemental), Pole-axe (WP: 3), Mead x 2, Venom, Grand Potion, Shovel Dak Shadeaux, Level 10 Rogue, 35 year old half-elf Mopag Power: 17 Health: 13/16 Gold: 124 Inventory: Mockthril Knife (Equipped)(WP:7), Thgir Blade (WP:5), Twin Longswords (WP:3), Mockthril Whip (WP:4), 2 Venoms, 1 Potion, Mead, Bedroll, Shovel Guts Holla, Level 9 Rogue, 42 year old male human Power: 16 Health: 12/15 Gold: 133 Inventory: Lifestealer (WP:7 attacks restore 3 health), Potion, Venom, Bedroll, Shovel Knifk, Level 10 Knight, 30 year old male Orc Power: 17 Health: 12/19 Gold: 75 Inventory: Tfel Blade (WP:7), Mockthril Shield (SP:5), Venom, Bedroll De'kra, Level 11.5 Rogue, 11 year old Male Shade Power: 16 Health: 14/17 Gold: 88 Inventory: Pongcanis Dagger(WP:5, Electricity), Shadeaux Dagger(WP:5), Fang Dagger(WP:4), Cloak of the Blue Assassin(SP: 1), Cloak of the Elven Spy(loaned to Atramor), Bedroll, Venom (1), Potions (2), Pickaxe Aberforth Swindle, Level 4 Mage, 62 year old human Power:6 Health: 5/8 Ether 8/8 Gold: 20 Inventory: Torch (2 WP, fire) Simple Staff (3 WP), Tonic, Venom, Amethyst Gemstone, Musty Bedroll Please check your stats. After a little searching and ruined map reading, the party decides it's time to head to the first intersection and go the other way. They run into another intersection. Right or left?
  3. Should we have most players target 1 beast while the remainders are just covered by 1 player to prevent free hits? I'd suggest zoot and elements since neither one produces minions. Tesni should stick to life, npc should go against minion and the majority on the othet beast, and the last on the other beast. "If my shield holds the beasts off when they attack, we should focus our steel on the weakest one." zoot, front row
  4. Just making sure. I'll most likely pick Mystic Knight as my advance class since there are a couple paladins and a berserker already. Will there be any special springtime/Easter traders in the Marketplace?
  5. Just to make sure, does my Sentinel ability protect against free hits also? If so, we should concentrate all attacks on front row against one chaos beast.
  6. Maybe you didn't come up with it, but shades are fictional, like the near indestructible satchel of improbability! <--Artefact!
  7. Yet you don't question your own character's made up race or why the mage in the back row is slinging magic blasts from a purple gem stone?
  8. Do advanced classes get free equipment? For example if a class merges with the mage for an advanced class, do they get to pick out a gem?
  9. Freed from the frozen state, Hoke roars to life and sinks Vintul into the Chaos Beast closest to him. Seeing the Elements beast was the weakest, Hoke turned his attention and steel to it. Elements Beast, front row.
  10. In his eagerness Dak failed to inspect the skeleton for traps. He found one and shared it with the party as a noxious gas spewed out of the skull, sickening the party (-3). After the fumes cleared, the party grabs the satchel and find a Bedroll, Potion, Mead & Ruined Map. Looks like the frail paper reacted poorly to the released gas. Party leader divide the spoils. Guts builds up a good sweat but finds nothing.
  11. The heroes retrace their step back to the second intersection they encountered on this level. The tunnel here is low, forcing the heroes to crouch as they make their way. They come out into a small chamber. Swindle cautiously extends the torch forward, and the party sees a form by the back wall. Not wanting to repeat their last encounter, the heroes leap forward to overwhelm the new threat.....a dusty skeleton. What would the party like to do?
  12. Got it, thanks! The party gets up and breaks down their makeshift camp. They all grab a few bites to eat from their provisions and gear up once again. The tunnel at the rear of the Giant Spider's lair seems to slope downward to a lower level, but there are still unexplored areas on this level of the mines.
  13. I am completely and utter pumped about this theme. I hope there will be a zombie set. A nice graveyard with fresh undead...
  14. I am using this for the base piece: I have both front legs on the front side bar, but one has to be up and the other down, so he is a permanently rearing spider. Quite unfriendly and uncouth if you ask me.
  15. The heroes search the Giant Spider's lair but come up empty handed. Tired, exhausted, weary, and other words that mean the heroes need to rest, the heroes retreat to an alcove on the side of the lair. They drag a semiconscious Guts with them, take out his bedroll, and put him in for some rest. Those with bedrolls also bed down for rest. 16. I know! I am pretty speechless myself! Wompwompwaaaaah....
  17. Do I still have use of Vipera?
  18. Are Jess and Hoke still frozen or not?
  19. Bring it! I XP!
  20. Hoke wipes off Vintul on the tunic of a dead rebel. He had grown tired of the witch's game but does his best to keep a level head. "I cannot in good conscience condemn a man to death on pure conjecture and speculation. In combat a man may die with honor, but to be executed on a whim? I will not play this game." With those last words Vintul clinks into its scabbard. Hoke eyes Wren evenly, as he plants the great sword's scabbard tip in the ground before him and holds Vintul's hilt with both hands.
  21. So far I've picked a full set, extra Celt, 4 extra Butchers and 16 extra Romans. Can't go wrong with the feel method!
  22. Round 4 vs Spiders: Aberforth - Potion Tarn vs Giant Spider - Hit/Hit Knifk vs Giant Spider - Miss De'kra vs Giant Spider - Special Damage Dak vs Giant Spider - Hit On the brink of collapse, Swindle guzzles a potion, restoring him completely. Tarn leaps straight at the slumber arachnid and lands two vicious blows, almost cutting the beast in two (-84). With a primal shriek, the Giant Spider explodes to limping life, knocking Knik's attack aside and spews another blast of acidic venom onto the party (-3). Dak lunges at the foul creature, scoring a hit. The Giant Spider desperately clings to life. 23. I've thought about this too, like a battle of wits instead of steel. The only problem I have with it is that it negates the randomness of the roll, unless you can incorporate that somehow.
  24. So close to victory against overwhelming odds, Hoke is proud to have adventured with his quest mates. "Alright Tesni, let's see what else you got! Everyone, let's finish this!" S, front row.
