  1. Hi guys ! Have you noticed that this new loco looks like the loco in the Jake's "LEGO train" book. (not the colors but the shape). You can see a pic here : http://www.digitalbricks.nl/MOC/JakeMcKee/...ok/JMK_UPDL.jpg (big size image, comes from the "moc poster" section of jeroen very good website : www.digitalbricks.nl) Another point not so much chatted about is the "return" of the dark green. IMHO this color is going to be used not only in the BNSF set but in many others official models.....maybe an opportunity for military stuffs MOC designers ! Bye 6Studs
  2. Hello guys !! Have you seen the new set from Eric "BaronSat" ? I like his "palace's band" (coloured and "realistic"). Have a look at his website http://baronsat.chez.tiscali.fr/baronshop/.../page_band.html In fact all his Star wars creation are very good but everybody know that :-). My prefered one is "Koldh Planet". Bye and have a nice day Didier "6Studs" Enjary
  3. hi, yes the container is quite heavy...but LEGO TECHNIC parts are good quality so it works pretty well. I added on my BS gallery an old TECHNIC creation : a giant dumper (even if it's TECHNIC MOC, it's minifig scale !!) http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=83662 this creation needs "only" three 9v TECHNIC motors and some pneumatic stuff. 4. Hi, My post is not in the good forum (Technic forum doesn't exist yet) and what i'm going to present is not my own creation. I finally built the famous jennifer's hooklift truck that you can see here : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=83140 There is no building instruction so I have used the ldr files (MLCAD software) available on her website: http://www.telepresence.strath.ac.uk/jen/lego/ and, mainly, the entire mpd file available on the CD packed with the book "Virtual LEGO". I built the model during a three days weekend...it contains 2 micromotors and three 9V Technic motors. It's really a great model to build. I have a huge amount of LEGO Technic parts so my model is quite (90%) the same (including colors) as the one described in the mdp files. You might see the model at bric'mania event : http://bricmania.freelug.org Unfortunately i don't have, today, a radio system to control it. Didier Enjary http://www.freelug.org http://www.6studs.com
  5. .... - Another good point will be attending LEGOWORLD. Last year the main LUGs presidents (FreeLUG, BeLUG ItLUG, DeBouwsteen, 1000Steine and Plug,...Brickish was not here) discussed about an European LUG. Nothing happened finally about this but it might be different if you had been present ! ...and it might had some effects on the numbers of eurobricks forum members today. 6studs...and more
  6. Hi folks, - Well, I think t'will be great to creat a train related forum (and castle) because these are the most popular LEGO theme thru AFOL (with SW of course). - For more members, publicizing on LUGNET is maybe not the best but is the easier. The best will be to publicize in all european LUG mailing list / webpages. - Another good point will be attending LEGOWORLD. L
  7. Well, that's not easy to make a website, forum, chatroom well known.....it takes time, many time. But one thing to do, IMHO, is to publicize trough LUGNET in the newsgroups http://news.lugnet.com/announce/ http://news.lugnet.com/loc/eu/ and any other european LUG newgroup , mailing list,.... You have to explain precisely your goal. From my point of view, LUGNET is too much american and many european people don't dare to use it. Eurobricks may allow them to express more freely. 6studs...and more

  9. Hi folks, :D My name is Didier I'm from Lyon, France. I'm 32 I am "LEGO Technic" fan. More recently I bought some 9V LEGO trains - they are really cool even the track geometry is not so good. I Hope this new community website will grow rapidly.
