  1. More and more of our (Staff)members seem to be dying in the Tournament of Retribution II, over at the Pirates forum, this comic for example is titled 'Demise of an Emperor'. Don't wait any longer! Take your own personal revenge NOW! The Rules Official Sign Ups Avatar Authorization Fantastic Prizes

  3. As some ship-building experts posting before me into this thread already said, you started out very strong, and also I am looking forward to follow up on your progress. Thanks for sharing, and I wish you a very good time on our boards !
  4. Happy Father's Day to all the dads in the world and beyond!
  5. It's called a title, and these can only be given by Staff members. We only give them if you do something either really good for the community, or something really bad!
  6. Ooh, that was soo below the belt But I guess I should give the good example, so I removed the 'cheap China plastic' one, that campaign is long over anyway .
  7. To all the signature haters, don't forget you can choose not to display ANY signatures at all into your 'My Settings' profile . Go to: Forums View/Posting/Email Prefs Board Display Settings You can also choose not to view Avatars or even images in general. This will speeden up your surfing on EB considerably btw, although it may reduce the 'experience'. Personally I disabled the signatures, and count on other members to report them (I can see them in member's profiles anyway) or on the other mods to pick them up (and on the autosig feature from now on too).
  8. Nice film, but this discussion about natives, British rule and such better stops RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW (not ONE more post about it!) or I'm going to take more drastic measures to stop it. I'm fairly certain there was no intention to insult someone, and everyone should respect each other's cultural differences! Thanks!
  9. Yes, Eurobricks really grew very fast during these last few years, and it seems this tendency is continuing! I think this is a great community, and that we have some of the best LEGO contests around! Also our blogs (Classic-Pirates.com, Classic-Town.net and de-classic-space.com) are becoming more popular by the day. ...Big Brotherator is watching YOU!...
  10. And Superkalle has been added into the Groups and Tags topic as well!
  11. What about some roasted Clams to go with it? It is said that when one cuts open the stomach of a walrus that has just fed himself, you end up with a huge pile of them! That's also the reason of the high cannibalism between the Walrae species...they just want to get access to the other one's Clam-stockpile!
  12. Happy Birthday people, have a great one!
  13. Welcome to the community and thank you for sharing your MOC. One question though: next time, can you please combine your answers into one single post, that is the way we do it here .
  14. Nice! Another post-it-note to serve as a communications line to continue our über-intelligent conversations about the 'things of life'!

    HMS Happy

I am impressed by your work, Puriri, the stern is amazing, I also like the colour schemes you used for your HMS Happy and the front is pretty well done. Thank you for sharing!
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks, I hope you will enjoy your time around here!
  17. An amazing entry I must say! It looks really like in the movie scene, and the details are done quite well .
  18. Liar? It's all the truth! Big Cam constantly 'Arrrrs' since he became a member of the Shipyard Crew, Ratshot really has a very short knife (ask his girlfriend for confirmation!) and the Commodore DID shoot Captain Green Hair into the megablocks with his bazooka !
  19. 55.65 grams according to Bricklink. You can find the weight of items in their catalog.
  20. Happy Birthday Walrus Keeper! I hope you will let the good ol' Walrus take part into the festivities as well!
  21. I completed the survey as well, good luck with your thesis !
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks, Nicolas! I wish you much fun on Eurobricks and also a lot of luck with your website .
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks, Eduard! As you can see we have many members from 'the low countries' down here, I hope you will feel yourself at home here and enjoy the boards!
  24. Personally I am most impressed by the light effects you managed to create, these are just superb! I can immediatly see what scene this represents, and it gives me the same feelings as watching it in the movie . Well done, and thanks for sharing with us.
