  1. I am excited for the new line. Hopefully they do a large set like a port and fortress in one.
  2. This set is so versatile. I would work with pirates, castle and city. Goo job Lego.
  3. The American Economic Crisis more like it. America needs to understand that the 'world' is what is outside its borders.
  4. It takes a long time here in Australia.
  5. Thank you for your encouraging replies. As for the three degrees of movement on the digging arm. I do not think it take anything away from playing with the model. It is much easier to control two degrees.
  6. This is my views on this set. Above picture is of the right side profile of the 8294. You can see both LAs and the PF motor. Above is the left side profile. You can see the pole reverser. Above is the top view. You can see the pole reverser and the gear box selector. the gear box selector is used to switch between the LAs. The build is done with the help of two manuals. I didn't take any photo during construction so above are random photos of the manual. Above is a size comparison with the 8455 Back-hoe Loader. As you can see it is a perfect size so that both models look and play well with each other. Conclusion This set benefits from the PF set 8293. The PFs help with how you can play with the set. The motor is powerful and can be used to lift six AA batteries. I would think the LA help with this power. If I was TLG I would have released this set with the PFs instead of the 8297 Off Roader. I would have paid AU$120 for this set plus the the PF motor, clutch and pole reverser. Price 9/10- Really good value. AU$79.99 for 720 pieces including two LAs and 60 tracks. Playability 7/10- with out PFs and 9/10 with PFS Build 7/10- The model came in numbered bags. I feel numbered bags save about 1/3 of the build time. The model took me 3 hrs to build. Overall 23/30 without PFs and 25/30 with PFs. If you have any question feel free to ask. :edit: PS I do not know how to add a pole. Could a mod be kind and add one if they feel it appropriate.
  7. The PF set adds a lot to the playability of the 8294 evacuator set. I built mine today and added the PF set. Makes it much more fun to play with. Overall I would rate the PF set a 7/10. I think it could do with an extension cord or more gears in different sizes. But it is good value.
  8. well after the long wait, my package arrived today. I got the 8294 evacuator and the 8275 bulldozer.
  9. I believe it would be a hammock
  10. I am excited about the new pirate sets. WooHOo
  11. I am guessing you are very young. like <18. Different strokes for different folks.
  12. I would love to enter.
  13. The air tank is such good news. I don't have one and the prices on bricklink are sky high. I wonder if anyone buys them.
  14. I would love a new space shuttle. Similar to the 8480. The technic line in my opinion needs a plane and helicopter. Completely working with all the functions lego can fit in the form factor they chose. I personally think that would be awesome.
  15. ep2 was little slow. Cameron was smoken hot though.
  16. Yes I do and the new season looks epic.
  17. I am in.
  18. I would like to see set 8480 space shuttle released again. I can not afford the price of the set now and could not afford it when it came out.
  19. Shipping costs and time to Australia. Why are shipping cost so much? Why does it take so long for my order to get to Australia? I ship things regularly to the USA and they take about 7 days from NSW to Texas. How come with the amount to traffic that comes out of Europe does it take 3 weeks for delivery? Do they come by ship? Or do you use the UKs Royal Mail?
  20. Thanks for that. I will check them out.
  21. thanks. i guess ebay it is then
  22. Are there any other lego shops online in Australia. I found Bricks to the World this afternoon. Anything else?
  23. last time I buy from S@H then. I got some Power Functions.
  24. the cheaper one.
  25. Is it in Sydney? I bought something form S@H on Tuesday last week and it still is not here. Usually it is no more than 3 days from were I live for mail to get from Sydney. I wanted it built as I have assessment due over the next 3 weeks. If it arrives next week I will not be able to build it. NOTE: Was "Lego Warehouse in Australia?" -Sinner
