I think the background is ok ^^ I can understand that you don't have the piece of paper to cover your entire entry, as it's big! that's a nice and bloody entry ^^ and I love bloody entries! I think that, as Zorro noticed, you'll have to change the rifle and the pistol, but if you don't have the good ones, that's ok I think.

now the pictures are online, but as they said, you need to resize it, there is a tutorial for it there : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=20787 if you don't do it, you'll be disqualified also, as Zorro and Erdbeereis said, you need to put it on a 8x8 baseplate to be eligible for the small category, just take the characters, the blood and the chest and put everything to a nice little baseplate, and it'll be ok!

that's a good entry, the upper part of the principal building is not well built, if you see what I mean, we can see some studs betweens the bricks ^^ also, if you don't have enough tiles to entirely tile the sea, I would suggest to just remove the tiles, it gives it a strange looks apart from this, I like your cave and your canon smoke ^^ that's niice! you did a nice job with this entry, if you improve it just a little you'll have a really nice entry for this contest^^ good luck man!

that's a really nice entry ^^ I love the idea, it's original! and it's very well built, it really seems that the pirates are falling in mid-air and that you took the pictures just before they reached the water^^ what I only see to improve it is to build a big splash in the water ! ^^
