  1. Nice raffle, I'll certainly be adding something into the mix soon!
  2. Really loving the use of the quarter domes for the balcony, and I love the bet exchanging hands. Some really nice details all around. Excellent Build!
  3. The Harry Potter game was loaded with some really nice pieces( 4 8x16 dark bley tiles, 2x2 jumper plates galore, 4 different colored frogs, etc.). The heroica sets include the new weapons, which may be small, but hold a lot of detail. And you can never get enought 2x2 jumper plates. I don't even play the games, I just use the parts.

  5. Nandel Kirche and his men pledge their loyalty to Mitgardia! My men include: Teran the Crossbowman Old Switleon the Engineer Hansen Kirche, My only Brother Our unit may be small, but Switleon's contraption is a deadly asset on the battle field, and he always something he's eager to build if he could be trouble to find the materials. Our valor is second to none, and our loyalty will never fade! P.S. : I hope you don't mind I chose dark green over the basic green.
  6. Uploaded my entry a few days ago. Good luck to everyone.
  7. Here is my entry for Category A! I chose to use the Egyptian Queen remembering the story of Moses, and how he was floated down the Nile in basket and ended up at the palace to then be raised by the Queen and Pharaoh. So this scene depicts the the basket washing up at one of the Palaces that sits beside the Nile. Picture the Queen standing there bending down to pick up the infant. Enjoy! Thanks again, and good luck to all the contestants.
  8. Many pirates have disappeared over the years with no explanation after being taken into custody of the Royal Navy. There have been many rumors about what actually happens to those who disappear, but none have been even remotely close to the actual process. The king wanted to make pirates disappear without murder being the way, so his officers in the Royal Navy found a secluded cove, and set up a makeshift paradise. A place that is impossible to find without directions, and a place the pirates won't want to leave once there. I give you Marooner's Lagoon. A pirates paradise hidden deep inland of an unknown island connected to the sea by a maze layout of caves. The prisoner's are taken there blindfolded, and left there to basically life a life of luxury for a pirate, the only downside was the lack of rum, but they eventually get over it. I started this almost immediately after my Brickworld MOCs had been disassembled, I wanted to use some of the techniques mentioned in the presentations: like the colors visible through the trans-plates for the water. The water was also my take on the Tweetpunk Layout in the Michigan ballroom, though I can't remember the builder's name, my hat goes off to you! That's nearly 1000 1x2 trans clear plates(Hooray for PaB!) Hope you enjoyed my largest MOC to date! See more At MOCpages
  9. One point awarded to each: 4) The Monster Entry (Build by Titolian) 16) Ice Hockey Player Entry (Build by otterlilly) 38) Kimono Girl Entry (Build by pelle) Good luck!
  10. Bridge connecting three medieval kingdoms in a rare time of peace. The bridge is constructed over the Marahan River which separates 3 very distinct landscapes. Even though it was a time of peace, each kingdom heavily guarded their border in case any country tried to break the peace. This was displayed this past weekend at Brickworld in Wheeling, IL. Enjoy! Comments would be much appreciated.
  11. This mine, buried deep inside of the Faulklow Asteroid is harvesting a rare crystal element that can be used in computer chips as the only component. The valuable resource is used in everything imaginable, but since it is still a rare resource prices continue to rise. This means that there are many developing firms willing to take a chance on this rare crystal. Display piece #1 for Brickworld, probably one of my favorites i've built thus far. What do you think? Thanks for looking!
  12. I really like the change of pace for Category B. It makes sense to phase out the existing Category B because eventually it would become extremely difficult to get all the minifigs on one 16x16 Vignette. You can certainly expect an entry from me. Have fun building!
  13. I'm glad to finally see a full dwarven city in Bricky form. I really like the masonic feel you gave it with all the cheese slope details. Great work!
  14. So many great piece usages here. Fantastic work!
  15. I think big is an understatement. Enormously massive I think would be a more appropriate.
  16. Just fantastic! I'm amazed at the shear scale, and the detail wrapped into the some MOC. Great work!
  17. Nicely done! The colors really fit the odd tint from the movie itself, and the pit truly looks never ending. I sure envy your collection of spartans, but at least you've put them to good use. Great work!
  18. 1 pt to each 17) Diver, Surfer & Fisherman Entry (Build by Cecilie) 20) Nurse, Surfer & Space Villain Entry (Build by Darkblane) 18) Wrestler, Karate Master & Sumo Wrestler Entry (Build by gabe) Good luck!
  19. 1pt to each 16) Snowboarder Entry (Build by Dreamweb) 22) Fisherman Entry (Build by turambar) 32) Samurai Warrior Entry (Build by Dannylonglegs) Good Luck everyone, and great work on all the entries.
  20. It was supposed to be cotton, but I couldn't remember if that was a legitimate textile source in medieval europe. Oh well.
  21. This glorious Kingdom is protected by a vast wall from invaders and other dangers of the outside world. It also serves as an unofficial border of prosperity and health. The kingdom holds some of the most fertile land known, but on the other side of the wall exists a desolate landscape littered with half dead trees and formerly battle wounded soldier. That land of nothing borders the entire eastern wall for miles. As the peaceful peasants farm their land and care for their livestock, life struggles to exist just mere yards away. More images at my MOCpages Post.
  22. Here is my entry! Minifigures: Series 1: Nurse Series 2: Lifeguard Series 3(Imaginary): Fisherman Theme: City/beach Story: A local fisherman was pulled into the water by something much bigger than him. The lifeguard on duty was able to get him to shore. He was later taken to a hospital by a nurse and some EMTs. Enjoy!
  23. And Here's my entry. Minifigure: Pilot Story: The adventure-seeking pilot is using his hot air balloon to explore the Brickalaya mountains, and the vast Brick woods. Theme: Adventure/Explorer Here are deep links to images showing that the balloon does not violate the 2 stud overhang limit. 1 2
  24. I've been waiting for this to come back along. I haven't been able to find any minifigs in the stores near me, so i'll definitely take a crack at A and B. I'm almost done with both of them, so they'll be up shortly. Thanks again for putting this on again!
